My son and his friends had an amazing time at Xtratime and I honestly can’t recommend it enough! It’s a brilliant place for kids of all ages, and as a parent, I was really impressed by how much care and thought has gone into creating a safe, fun, and welcoming environment.

Very reasonably priced, especially considering the variety of activities on offer. It’s refreshing to find a place where kids can be entertained for hours without it costing a fortune.
The play areas are clean, well-maintained, and clearly set up with safety in mind. The whole place is well-organised, and I felt completely at ease knowing the kids were in good hands.

What really stood out to us was the staff. They are absolutely wonderful, thoughtful, kind, and genuinely caring. They take the time to get to know the kids, help them settle in if they’re nervous, and go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy and included. One staff member even helped our youngest join in when he was feeling shy, it made his whole day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Xtratime and actually have done so.The atmosphere is friendly, the team is fantastic, and the kids leave smiling every time.

Huge thanks to the Xtratime team, we’ll definitely be back soon!

An outstanding organisation that combines a fun, engaging atmosphere with a high standard of professionalism. The staff foster a strong community spirit while maintaining clear expectations, encouraging every child to strive for excellence.

With a focus on aspiration and discipline, the club provides a supportive environment where children are motivated to set goals and achieve them. A well-organised and enriching experience—highly recommended for families seeking quality and purpose-driven care. My children love it :)

Cherry Tree Primary School After School…

Cherry Tree Primary School After School Club Provision -

Dreadful financial management. Would not recommend - at all! Especially if you have a busy life and don't have a lot of time to spare to go out of your way to prove you have paid them...

They are also very expensive. They are charging £15.50 per day per child. This is the reduced rate. Ad hoc fees are even higher at £18.

We now send two children to them. They offer no sibling discount. This means that for only 3 days a week this costs us nearly £100 and just under £400 per month. If we were using them full-time this would be £620 per month. Sadly, we are not in a position where we have those kinds of funds readily available and this puts us in a really difficult position in terms work and finance. I have had to reduce my hours to part-time working to try to bring these costs down. I am now considering possibly changing my work pattern again to help bring this down further or hopefully getting rid of these costs completely.

In addition, the booking and payment process is unbelievably tedious, complicated and clumsy.

Finally even after going through all of this, they demand parents to send proof of payment in the form of screenshots etc. For families like us, where we barely have any spare time at all, this is a really draining process.

I have been in contact and communication with Xtra time regarding these issues already, repeatedly. The answer I get tends to be: "The costs are what they are and these are our processes. Nobody is forcing you to use our services. It may not be right for you", which does not leave much room for any productive conversations or seeking effective solutions.

All of this has now led us to discontinue using their services altogether. We would much rather find alternative arrangements than deal with this nightmare any longer... Terrible, terrible experience...
