Funds Stuck for Weeks – Unlawful Holding & Endless Verification Loop

I deposited funds from my own cold wallet to XT.com in early May 2026. After completing full KYC, I tried to withdraw my money but the Risk Control team started an endless “Source of Funds” verification process.
I clearly explained multiple times that the funds are gambling winnings and were sent directly from my personal cold wallet. I even offered to do a live withdrawal with full screen recording so they could verify everything in real time.
Despite all this, they keep demanding more and more intrusive personal documents, chat logs, ownership proofs and unnecessary information. They completely ignore their own Incorrect Deposits Policy, which states that if verification cannot be completed, the funds must be returned to the original address within 2 weeks.
Ticket #613496 has been open for over 3 weeks now. The support agents (Moira, Cynthia, Cloe etc.) just repeat the same loop and refuse to escalate or release my funds.
This is not verification — this is deliberate delay and unlawful holding of my money.
Warning to everyone: Do not deposit large amounts on XT.com if you value your funds. They will lock your money with endless excuses.

Crypto frozen for 10+ days despite full KYC compliance — Ticket #619804

I have been using XT Exchange for cryptocurrency trading for years. On 13-May-2026, my account was restricted with substantial crypto frozen mid-withdrawal.

I fully cooperated with their compliance process and submitted:
• Passport and KYC documents
• 15 individual wallet deposit verification videos
• government Income Tax Return
verifiable on incometax.gov.in
• Government LLP Business Registration
• Detailed written explanation of all account activity

After all submissions, XT support same standard reply template:
"Submitted to relevant department — please be patient."

No timeline, no specific feedback, no criteria for resolution has been provided.

I have also submitted a formal reply to the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (XT's registered jurisdiction).

I continue to cooperate fully. This review is a factual account of my experience. I will update it when resolved.

XT cancelled my filled ANB trades and confiscated 1260 USDT under "risk control"

I sold ANB on XT at the market price. The orders were filled, confirmed, and 1260 USDT appeared in my balance.Hours later XT silently reversed the trades and removed the funds, citing "abnormal conditions" and an internal "risk control review". No prior notice. No specific clause of the Terms of Service cited. No order logs or matching engine records provided. No timeline.I contacted live chat. The agent (Viktor) sent the exact same templated paragraph more than ten times in a row in response to every question. When I asked for a written explanation, the legal address, or any concrete answer about when and how my funds would be returned, he replied with the same boilerplate. When I finally got a direct answer, it was: "It all depends on the Risk Control team. I can not provide any outcome in advance."This is not risk control. This is unilateral confiscation of executed trades, retroactively, with no documented justification and no appeal process. The pattern is identical to dozens of other reviews here and to a public CCXT GitHub scam report from 2023 — XT seizes profits from users who happen to be on the right side of price anomalies on their own thinly traded listings, then hides behind "abnormal trades" boilerplate. If you are considering XT for spot trading, arbitrage, or anything algorithmic: your profits are not yours until they are off the platform. Any trade XT later decides was "abnormal" can be reversed days after execution, and there is no functioning support channel to dispute it.Avoid.

XT.COM IS STEALING MY $850 PRINCIPAL DEPOSIT - SCAM ALERT!

I am a regular user (Ticket #598314) who submitted NID for verification, but XT.COM kept it pending while taking my deposit and I am writing this to expose the daylight robbery XT.COM is committing. They are using "Risk Control" as a fake excuse to seize my INITIAL CAPITAL, not just profits.THE MATHEMATICAL PROOF OF THEFT:

My Total Net Deposit: 849.9 USDT (I have all TXIDs and receipts).

My Current Balance: ~920 USDT.

XT's Forced Deduction: 790.89 USDT and 185,089 RVV.

The Reality: If they deduct 790 USDT from my 920 USDT balance, I am left with only 130 USDT. This means they are stealing nearly $720 of my OWN HARD-EARNED DEPOSIT. They keep sending copy-paste emails claiming this is "profit adjustment," but math doesn't lie. Taking more than the profit is THEFT of principal capital. I have repeatedly offered them to keep the actual profit and return my 849.9 USDT principal to my external wallet, but they refuse to act professionally.TO THE XT SUPPORT TEAM: I will NOT "confirm" or "agree" to this theft. I will continue to update this review and post my deposit proofs on CoinMarketCap, Binance Square, and Reddit until my 849.9 USDT principal is returned.

STAY AWAY FROM XT.COM. They don't just take your profits; they take your initial investment!
I have full proof of my 849.9 USDT deposit with TXIDs. If XT.com denies this, I will post the screenshots on my Twitter and Reddit threads.
UPDATE (April 25): XT.COM has now officially refused to explain their math. They sent me an email saying they will not provide further explanations. They are trying to hide the fact that they are stealing my $850 principal deposit by simply shutting down the conversation. This is the behavior of a scam exchange. I am now moving my proofs to Binance Square and Reddit."
Update (April 26): "XT.COM is still trying to force me to agree to a deduction that steals my principal deposit. They are ignoring my mathematical proof. I am now taking this to Binance Square and Reddit."

Risk control very bad

I gained risk control on this wonderful exchange because I have linked accounts. Yes, I did have a couple of accounts that weren't verified, which isn't prohibited by Vlatform. As a result, they blocked my deposit and are asking me to enter email addresses or other user IDs. However, they send these to everyone here, but not to me. So, if you registered an account 5 years ago and forgot about your details (for example, your email address, which is perfectly normal), they will never give you your money until you provide that email address. Ultimately, I don't even know why they need these user IDs. I suspect it's a tactic to keep you from giving me your money, because support directly told me that if you don't provide them, you'll never be able to withdraw money from here. And no matter how many user IDs I provide, it'll never be enough. This is simply a way to keep people from giving up their money. If anyone wants to register here, and you make a deposit, you might never do so. You won't get it back because their terms are unrealistic. They're also calmly violating their own offer, which states that I'm responsible for my own account and no one else's. Ultimately, I'm shocked how HT Exchange decided to take away clients' deposits, because in 2026, not a single exchange other than an outright scam would dare to take away their clients' deposits. But HT Exchange isn't above that. So, even if you had two accounts and provided UIDs, they'll never be satisfied and will claim that's not all, that it's the ideal model of never giving back the money, which support confirmed. I hope another employee is responding here who can help and won't tell me to go to support, who directly told me that if I don't provide the UID, I'll never get my money back. I have all the screenshots, and I'll go message all their Twitter channels because I won't get any help here.

We’re sorry for the frustration caused. For account security and compliance, linking multiple accounts may trigger risk controls that require identity verification. These checks are not intended to withhold funds but based on a careful review in line with our risk control policies. Please take time to review the relevant terms. If you still believe the handling was improper, kindly contact our support team with your UID so we can further investigate the case. Thank you!

XT.com won't let you withdraw

I signed up to XT.com about 3 months ago, sent in my German ID and a verification video and was immediately "verified". It still says "Verified" in my account.
A couple of days ago I decided to withdraw some of my winnings I made ($1,000). The withdrawal failed due to "risk control". I contacted them and asked why it failed. They sent me this reply:
"The system has detected abnormal activity on your account. In order to further verify your identity, we kindly ask you to provide a video in which you hold your identification document and ensure the following:

1.Hold the identification document with one hand and a piece of paper with the other hand. The paper should have “XT + today’s date + signature” written on it (for example: XT, 2025/1/1, signature).
2.Ensure that the identification document and paper are positioned at chest level, with no obstruction to your face, and that the information on the document and paper is clearly visible.

This video will be used to verify your KYC information. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding."

I found that already a bit strange since I have account on probably around 20 crypto exchanges and never made a similar experience somewhere else. Anyway I still recorded the requested video and send it to them. When I asked after a while how long it will take until I can make a withdrawal, their support told me that they needed 2 (!!) more videos.
After reading similar reports from others I decided not to do this, since they request very private information in these videos (like log-in data from other exchanges). Even if you send all these videos they will in the end come up with a reason not to let you withdraw.

My UID:9088787022861

Edit: Don't pretend here like you are not scamming people.
These are the requested videos:
"2. Description of Deposit Funds Source: If from other exchanges, please provide a video recording of the login process and KYC information for that platform:
a. The entire process of logging into the platform and wallet;
b. The website address of the platform or wallet;
c. Records of the withdrawal page (TxID, currency, amount, date)
3. Real-Name User Operation Video: Please provide a video recording of a verified user who has completed KYC logging into their XT account. Ensure the recording is clear and unobstructed."

No other crypto exchange does this (especially the part where you show your log-in data to another crypto exchange). It is an obvious fishing attempt and would not be allowed under any jurisdiction.
Also you can see on their website that they are not regulated anywhere and you cannot find any names who run the exchange.

DO NOT USE IT.

XT.com froze my $9,000+ and won't review my appeal until a total stranger cooperates with them.

I am a legitimate trader who maintained a 5,000 USDT balance and paid 200+ USDT in fees to qualify for their promotional program. However, XT.com suddenly froze my account, claiming I am "linked" to a total stranger (UID 9271**3340).

The Absurdity:
XT.com officially stated they will NOT review my appeal until this unknown third party (UID 3340) cooperates with their internal procedures. They are conditioning the review of my account on someone else's actions — someone I have never met and have no connection to.

The Damage:
- Principal Restricted: 6,119 USDT
- Expired Trial Funds: 2,000 USDT (expired because XT.com refused to restore access in time)
- Bonus Recalled: 206 USDT (recalled by XT.com prior to the restriction)
- Total Loss: $8,955+

I provided 8 screenshots and 2 verification videos proving my independent identity and funding source. They ignored everything and kept sending automated copy-paste responses. They refuse to disclose any evidence for the alleged "link," citing "internal policy."

Stay away from XT.com. They can freeze your account anytime by claiming you are "linked" to someone you don't even know — without disclosing any evidence.

Ticket Reference: #594400 / #594638

-------------------------------------------------

This is the same copy-paste response I have been receiving for days through your support tickets. The real issue is simple: your platform officially stated it will NOT review my case until an unrelated third party (UID 3340) cooperates with your internal procedures. This is not a legitimate compliance process — it is holding an innocent user's assets hostage due to someone else's actions. I have submitted 8 screenshots and 2 verification videos proving my independent identity. All ignored. Formal actions already initiated: - Korean Financial Supervisory Service complaint (Ref. No. 1AA-2603-0626730) - Korea Cyber Investigation Unit criminal complaint (provisional filing) I expect a real resolution by 18:00 SGT on March 17, 2026 — not another automated response.

Korea Cyber Investigation Unit criminal complaint in progress. XT.COM has been formally notified of all filings.

This is the worst platform ever

This is the worst platform ever. They promise things they don't deliver on. There are no real prizes or gifts; it's all systematic lies and claims. Also, the commissions are exorbitant, almost three times the commissions on a platform like Binance, for example. My advice is don't register on this platform. I registered to get a $25 sign-up bonus, and now I've discovered it was all a lie.

Thank you all for your feedback on this exchange. My team considered this exchange to be the main one for trading. But I see that many people have had their profits blocked. XT, you are already considered not the best exchange, but you are also ruining your reputation. Account Restricted Without Transparent Justification

My account was restricted due to alleged “associations” with other accounts. The platform stated that their risk control system identified links based on trading behavior, interaction patterns, and device information.

However, no specific evidence or clear policy clause was provided to explain what rule was allegedly violated.

Access restoration was conditioned on providing KYC and video verification materials from multiple third-party accounts that were not clearly identified, making compliance practically impossible.

Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter directly through support, the response remained generic and did not address the specific questions raised.

I understand the importance of AML and compliance procedures, but transparency and proportionality are equally important when user funds are involved.

I hope the platform improves clarity in its risk control and appeals process.

Answer 25.02.26
I have already contacted the compliance team multiple times and provided all requested materials.

However, no specific explanation or evidence of alleged “linked activity” has been provided.

If there is no criminal or legal issue related to my funds, I formally request either a clear documented explanation of the alleged violation or the return of my remaining assets and closure of the account.

Transparency and due process are essential under any regulated framework.
