Xref's terms and privacy conditions are deeply concerning -especially if you are asked to be a referee for a former employee.
The T&Cs, you MUST agree to to give a reference, permit Xref to redistribute your private information to any third parties of their choosing - including many overseas entities (this includes Facebook, Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn and Amazon). Your agreement is required to submit a reference through Xref and is written to imply that the former employee’s job prospects may be negatively impacted should you choose not to accept their terms - beware!
Awful. Avoid. They will have constant issues preventing you from completing a simple hassle-free reference check.
The software wasn’t compatible for my agency. Hospitals would not accept references without a digital audit trail. I requested a refund which was accepted, however this has not been paid for several weeks.
