Drivers waiting room at XPO Leicester is cold and uncomfortable, they is no sense why you can’t just drop your airlines and hand your keys so you can sit in your cab. If it was ok in Convid times why not now? #driverstreatedbadly

Apparently they tried to contact me

Apparently they emailed, called and left voice notes to say they had to re schedule the peloton delivery. I had none of the above. Ive now read so many reviews from people who purchased peloton and cancelled because of their horrendous delivery experiences. I’m going to do the same. It’s just not acceptable.

XPO is a Dishonest Company--They provide phoney reweigh charges

We usually get some great rates from them, but beware they will reclassify your freight or reweigh your freight at a higher rate of course. Will do my best never to use them again. I have been letting some of my fellow logistics managers know about this and no surprise they have same thing happening to them daily.

the way it works is the last person who…

the way it works is the last person who touched the freight if it gets damaged and it was not your fault you will still be held accountable and penalized. They pin damage freight on you regard less to satisfy their customers. You do not get any sick days, so if you are sick with a flu you will get points and it is a 6 point system then automatically termination. Any call out is 1 point. You cannot just call out the day or day before it has to be an opening and approved. There are no personal days.
There is an 8 motor move count rule and if you do not meet the mark, you will be coached if it continues, 3 coachings, 1 written, 1 final then termination. You have to be on constant pens and needles in this company. They expect you to strap the freight, put plywood around it which is time consuming and still keep up 8 motor move count. Everything at this company is a disciplinary, they have an outrageous turn over, I worked at xpo for 2 years and watched over 75 to 100 employees be terminated, some had 10, 15, 20 years in, great experienced workers and they pointed out for things other companies would over look or handle differently especially after being a great employee. Xpo at Charlotte nc NCH do not care or value any of that they will terminate an employee with 20 years in just like an employee who has 1 month in. The human resource department is terrible and do not listen to the employees concerns they just terminate. The service center manager is terrible all he cares about is the freight and if the freight comes back damage pin it on whoever last touched it whether if it is their fault or not, I personally was told this by a supervisor who disagrees with the service center manager. Before this guy came they said the terminal was not this bad. But now it is micro management at an all time high just look at the ratings, xpo is one of the leading in freight companies in the country, but if you look at the Charlotte NC facility you will see has horrible ratings. Do not be fooled by the pay and persona this site is horrible management it is a slave plantation. Work here at your own risk , look at it as a paycheck do not look at it as a career. -

Try Another Service

Communication with and within XPO is non-existant.
They have no clue where your merchandise is located in their system! And if you are not conveniently located for them, they will push your delivery out REPEATEDLY! Waited nearly a month for 3 rescheduled deliveries and now have to travel over an hour to pick it up myself.
Hopefully, it will be there!

AVOID and if you can't avoid expect problems.

EXPECT PROBLEMS
I've had this company deliver to me a few times and their service is terrible.
They have never arrived when they said they would, lost very expensive orders, brought me the wrong commercial fridge the last time then rang me a week later to redeliver and the driver Jo
JOHN sounded half drunk and when I asked him why he was calling me from outside my premises and why he hadn't given me a call 30mins beforehand (very very clearly requested and documented on each call to XPO), he replied 'Do you want the fridge or not?' and attempted to mimick my English accent (very badly).
Finally third time lucky they finally deliver the RIGHT fridge and then!... Lo and behold!... They didn't have the correct equipment to take it down a few steps so they left it in the doorway of the shop.
All in all another horrendous experience from XPO and I certainly will not be using them again.. I'd much rather go to a different retailer who uses alternative transport company.
I've gone back to the retailers and told them not to use them in future as it let's the retailers down and puts them out of pocket.

Careless and dangerous driver

This morning one of their drivers with number plate KY22 HCA was tailgating me on the first lane of the M6 motorway and he started beeping as well, where I was going same speed as the car in front of me, but keeping a safe distance from the car in front of me. Then he again started beeping at the roundabout when another HGV truck was approaching the roundabout and I needed to give a way. This is careless and Dangerous driving.

Terrible

Terrible! They damaged $3,600 worth of parts (no labor) on 2 outboard motors. Pictures and proof of no damage BEFORE the engine crates were picked up. Both steel engine crates were damaged in their possession and damage to the motors themselves. Damage was acknowledged by the driver in writing and pictures BEFORE the motors were removed from the truck.

Claim filed and took almost 4 months to get a response. XPO offered to pay $137.50. These people are hacks! No responsibility in their terrible service. Incapable and incompetent!!!

I rate them

Unsure why others have had such a bad experience.
I ordered from Homebase during the administration, received a text and hour later to say that delivery was being handled by XPO.
Got an email the day after that confirming they had the items and would ship by Friday. I got a text on Thursday confirming again with a tracking number, and on Friday a call from the delivery man 10 mins before arrival and a lovely service once he had arrived. He also offered to take them to any room of the house I wanted. Excellent.

HR department from London Gxo,not even one ☆,not deserve!I was applying for a job in London,and the lady named Debb with a rude,disrespectful and embarrassed attitude manner over the phone after I tried to explain that i have knowledge about program and all the process regard hiring,she became NERVOUS and SHE HANGING THE PHONE without no proper reason.I was called from mobile phone,thing which not should do a big company like GXO.That why GXO have 2,5 star's,main reason the staff from HR departments.People's they're not looking to work with some kind of personal like Debb.Mi wife was side me and she was scared when she see and hear what attitude was have Debb.Not all the people has to be humiliated by her,first line interaction with GXO.RUDE RUDE RUDE AND SHAME ON HER!!

Shame

It started well we have your item can we book a day as this is a heavy 65kg item great. This done informed would get a txt or call day before with a 4 hour time slot and a call or txt on day too give a 1 hour window. NOTHING heard day before or early morning so contacted mid morning 35 min holding for call to be answered explained situation, HANG ON, 5 min later yes your order is out for delivery will be with you between 12 and 4pm driver will contact you about 1 hour before delivery. NO NOTHING just turn up at 4.15 and be upset had the audacity to take the dog out for a walk. Fair play to the driver and his mate they did wait 15 min for return to home and placed the item in the back garden. But if we had been contacted we would either have left gate unlocked or waited. Just find it frustrating that XPO do not deliver their promises

I understand that small parcels

I understand that small parcels, even mail, may get lost, although it shouldn't, but a 6 x4 x 2 ' outside container
is not acceptable how the hell do you lose one of those?
This was supposed to arrive at my home pre-December 25th/2024 didn't arrive; however, we were assured we would take delivery on January 6th, 2025 didn't arrive, then told it would arrive today You guessed it no show, but then informed by Homebase the item had been lost ( yeah gonna believe that one ) But we got a refunded only to be told by XPO they would be calling for a collection. great only we don't have a clue what they are collecting. XPO are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard; avoid at all cost .

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Firstly is there anyone actually in their delivery office for Homebase deliveries? I doubt it! 3 hr waits and still no answer on the phone, then phone diverted to a full mailbox. All this with no delivery. Expected on 6th Jan then moved to 10th. Homebase say it shows as delivered yesterday, 9th..it wasn't. Dear only knows who is enjoying my new £200 rug but its certainly not me! this is not Homebase fault but if they come out of administration, they really need to rethink who they trust with their deliveries. Avoid XPO at all costs.

Really wouldnt five 1 star, but got to to write review.
Xpo or gxo the worst company that i have ever had rhe displeasure to deliver to.
Xpo think that if we name us gxo people would use us, same cowboys just different name.
Try deliver to waitrose gxo, what a joke 2 hours for 9 pallets.
