XP1 Technical, based in Chelmsford, Essex, is the culmination of passion for precision high end vehicle servicing, A Love for the McLaren Brand and 10 years of experience. This includes Pure McLaren Track side repairs and maintenance, McLaren Technical Centre production, McLaren Technical Centre research and Development. Dan has worked on all models from 12C, Senna, P1 up to and including the latest Artura. The Goal was to then take this knowledge, experience, and passion and make it available to the wider McLaren owners community. We take the utmost care and attention with each vehicle, treating it as though it were one of our own. Having learned the complete build process for each McLaren model we can offer the most efficient services in the McLaren Independent Specialists market. During this time the aftermarket for McLaren models has also grown extensively, we have partnered with only the highest quality suppliers who either match or exceed McLaren’s already extremely high specification OEM components. The mission is simple and we offer services which not many other companies can compete with. We were once customers ourselves and take great pride in our customer satisfaction.

Great service
The guys at XP1 were really helpful, ran me through all my options for my brake upgrade on my 650s and helped me decide the best route to go.
Will definitely be using them in the future.

Nobody better in the trade
Nobody better in the trade than Dan. So glad to have found someone that is professional cares and I can trust. Nothing I’d to hard for Dan. So fortunate to find him. Can’t recommend more highly. He has helped me out with my 570S massively many times.

XP1 is a 5* for me
Daniel helped me out after I purchased a 570s, the vehicle was out of warranty so didn’t want to take it somewhere that I was going to get charged a fortune. I was advised on what work needed doing to the vehicle and what to look out for. I will continue to take it back to XP1 after receiving outstanding service and paying a lot less than anywhere else I was quoted for given work. If you want to be looked after and not messed around by going to main dealer this is the place to go.

I couldn’t recommend Daniel enough. He is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy and one of the best in the biz. After experiencing a few electrical niggles with my 570s he had it sorted in no time.

I came across XP1 when I had smoke…
I came across XP1 when I had smoke pouring from my 720s at Snetterton. Dan graciously offered to take a look and found it to be the oil filler cap not secured correctly by the main dealer who just serviced the car a week prior! I then took the car to XP1 for post track inspection and will continue to use them for the forseeable future! Amazing knowledge and service.
