I previously owned redmi note 7. When i did software update suddenly the phone is dead after one day.

I thought Amazon customer service was bad, these guys are shocking, provided a return label for 3 faulty WiFi units, I sent them back.

Now they're asking me to provide photos of the items I've sent back 2 weeks ago and now asking me.... To provide them a invoice for the item, when they can obtain it themselves via their records.

They're absolute clowns, making my blood boil.

Raising a chargeback today.

Hello! I want to share my experience using Xiaomi. First they gave me a Redmi 6A. This smartphone turned out to be a good choice at that time. He handled his tasks well, and I was pleased with his work.

However, over time, my requirements for the device have become higher, and I noticed that the battery no longer holds a charge for as long as it used to. So I decided to get a new smartphone. Without thinking twice, I chose Xiaomi Redmi A2 and was very pleased with the purchase. This smartphone fully met my expectations and even exceeded them.

I would especially like to mention fast charging, which allows you to quickly restore battery power. I also liked the camera, which takes high-quality pictures even in low light conditions. Overall, I am very pleased with my choice.

Xiaomi Compact Hair Dryer H101

I purchased the Xiaomi Compact Hair Dryer H101, and after just a month of use, it began emitting smoke. The problem is serious: hair is being sucked from the back of the device, where there is no adequate protection. This defect makes it not only unusable, but also potentially dangerous.

I reported the malfunction to Xiaomi Italy support, but the response was completely unsatisfactory: they dismissed my complaint as a simple "design difference," without initiating any replacement or repair procedure.

It's clear that this is a structural defect in the model, which should have featured double rear protection (which is present in other Xiaomi models, such as the High Speed ​​Ionic Hair Dryer).

In short: dangerous product, disappointing customer service.

Second time owner of a Xiaomi smartphone and overall I've good experience with the products.
I would recommend the company owner to have better educated stuff and improve their customer service.
I appreciate that the company is not overpriced like Iphone and Samsung!

here is my problem, i bought a xiaomi 14 ultra new off a reseller from aliexpress, i paid abit extra to go to global rom thinking yes i can download playstore manually from the original chinese rom but paying abit extra to have it ALREADY in global rom i can have it already installed and the phone in put in english

as a noob i did NOT know google had invented a effing mafia style network, root your phone or change the rom you get a "unverified" error on your device, so no google pay, some apps don't show up on playstore eg ebay australia, some DO show but block you from running the app once installed, others if you're lucky just run immediately eg amazon

how the f k did i know this was a thing?? Aisyah the cow wouldn't address the sorrow in my tone i.e look i'll even pay for me to send the phone to a official xiaomi HQ to get it fixed, nope, can't do that either, just copy and pasted a response from a previous email i sent

i looked at a youtube video to flash it back to stock rom, I was willing to lose all my data, nope, can't do that xiaomi is making it hard to do so, found out there is a thing called "bootoader" that must be unlocked aswell BEFORE I can flash it, and THAT is made even HARDER to do

xiaomi is f king its customers instead of just banning merchants from selling flashed roms they are removing traces of this practice of those who flash the roms as my research showed once upon a time you can go on the official xiaomi site to verify the legitimacy of the phone i.e is it REALLY global or chinese rom FLASHED to global, just type in the IMEI, whelp, that is removed from the official xiaomi site (how convenient)

have you considered punishing the bad guys i.e the merchants that SELL such modified phones instead of the victims who unsuspectingly buy them? i bought YOUR product show empathy and help me fix it!! its your typical trope stereotypical situation, "we got your money already so tough luck"

Detailed review:
It is super fast when using the remote. If you download the Google tv app and the home app on your android you can use your phone as the remote. You can switch your TV on and off using your phone. I tested this on my lcd TV (not a smart TV)
All you need is an hdmi port in your TV.

The channels scrolling is crazy fast and great. No lagging.

No need to buy more expensive boxes. Don't even try other brands.
This box is built in with xiaomi tv which streams some free channels.

Ensure you have at least 20mbps wifi speed. Anything lower will result in some buffering.
This box eliminates ads in apps.

Once you hit the power button, the device will go into standby mode after a while and the TV will go off. Don't try to unplug it when you switch it off.

It's a lower power consumption device so there's no need to keep it off.

The sound is surround sound as long as the video you're playing is tuned for it.

The box has a usb port. You can simply plug in the USB and a pop up will appear to access the files.files that are not compatible will not appear.
M3u files do not appear.
Remember to enable unknown apps.

Update your device in settings and give it time to speed up again. It will seem laggy directly after the update but it gets faster afterwards.

You can access the developer options by pressing 7 times in settings. Check on YouTube for tutorials.

You can connect the device to a ups 5v 2A to keep it powered on if you want it to be mobile.

It comes with an adapter 5. 2V, 2A for the wall.

Try using a 4k high speed ether et hdmi cable.

Kodi works great on this box. As well as other apps with free channels.

There's no need to pay for Netflix and other paid apps.

Install games on it as it has a 32GB storage.

You can play using your phone as a remote. You can try to connect your Bluetooth joystick as well.

Overall this is a beast. It really packs a punch that will surprise you. No need to buy expensive smart tvs. Even if you have a smart TV. Buy this box as it will be better.
The software on the smart tvs are very laggy.

I previously owned Redmi note 7. One day the main camera suddenly got blurry without any reason and I couldn't click clear images anymore. Although the overall performance was good so next time also I bought a Redmi phone. It is note 13 this time. It's been 1+ year since I'm using it and again same issue with this too! The camera is blurry. Even the technician is unable to understand why this happened and asking for a hefty amount of money to change lens. I highly feel it is a trap so that we upgrade our phones!!!! Never buying xiaomi mobiles again!

Can someone remind Xiaomi that they're not Samsung or iPhone?! That's why they were people's like me choices. Now with those prices and dumb decisions. Not so sure imma be considering Xiaomi as my next upgrade. Maybe I'll go back to Samsung instead! What a shame!

The Xiaomi S20+ failed after only 10 months of normal use. A slightly wet brush after cleaning somehow allowed water to reach the main circuit board and destroy the device - ironic for a product designed to perform wet cleaning. Xiaomi refused warranty service, citing “liquid contamination,” even though the issue is clearly related to the poor design. I’ve effectively lost £170.

This isn’t my first disappointing experience with Xiaomi. 2 smart kettles, a powerbank, a backpack and a handheld vacuum cleaner (copied after Dyson) - all of them broke after 1-3 years of service. Their designs look great, but the products simply don’t last.

Bought a Xiaomi Pro 4 a yr ago with a 2yr guarantee. Its been back for repairs 5 times in a year and today they are charging me £147 to replace the battery (3rd time) and charger, rear mudguard and backlight (again). They are saying because of the mudguard (the bolts had become loose) the entire warranty is invalid, battery and charger! WTF!
This is this only the last incident with Xiaomi- last time it was returned to me with both tyres slashed- a deliberate act. Still didn't get the repairs done.
I have had to fight tooth and nail to get proper repairs for my scooter. I never once got the scooter returned with repairs done properly. Had the battery replaced with a refurbished model twice and it didn't do the 35miles avg. Usually did about 8miles after 2months. I don't treat it like an idiot would- I need it to get to work and night school classes. I thought buying a decent scooter would last me but I was so very wrong so please take my advice and don't buy this brand. I can't get a refund or a replacement due to their small print on physical damage which is actually their fault on poor workmanship and materials so I am resigning myself on getting a new scooter/bike on a better reviewed basis than Xiaomi

best phones ever here, i got redmi new version, its 32GB RAM and powerful battery with 5,5 mA and the mem capacity of 256GB is what I need

I love Xiaomi devices; I have a smartphone Redmi 9 from Xiaomi. I love the features, navigation, MIUI, etc. But there is a problem with the device because some functions are started to lag when I update the security system. But overall, I love the device I just don't like the lag after the system update.

I bought a power bank on the web, in Peru, but after that, my order does not progress at all, it is still "processed satisfactorily." It's been 3 business days, and they don't communicate anything about how my order is going. I have had to call them and write to them through the chat to inform me, however the answer is to wait. If Xiaomi cares so much about excellence, then they are not on the right track at least in communication.

Xiaomi keeps shocking me with low prices but the quality always gets only better. My Redmi Note lasted two years and still runs fine. Cameras could be better in low light, but it’s worth every penny.

Xiaomi comparing itself to iPhone but there is a huge difference between them. I bought xiaomi 13 t pro in 2023 (water resistance ip67... It stopped working on 2025 because of water leaking while they give it high ranking in water resistance.
Any way I went to the maintenance center in Dubai mall. First day I asked them to check in the phone but they refused because the maintenance guy leaves early so I went next day they received the phone but didn’t start to diagnose the problem until next day. Today still calling to know what is done but they didn’t start yet repairing. According to the report they have the hardware parts since yesterday but still waiting for the maintenance guy to start on my phone. It seems like outsourced company. It costs 510aed
