.....Xhdata makes great low cost radios.
.....I was scammed by a seller and Ebay, both together, as I realized it was Ebay that was conspiring with a nefarious seller using the Xhdata name , but they were not the actual Xhdata company, just the usual scammers on Ebay that try to trick customers to believe that they are the actual company, with a no delivery scam with the help of Ebay!
So, Ebay and a scammer seller pretending to be Xhdata were the real criminals!.
......I actually love Xhdata radios, great quality and a low price!

Purchased a radio in the UK that had to be returned because of an issue and I thought it would be a problem to return it.

XHDATA went above and beyond to make sure that the return process went as smoothly as possible and refunded me in full including all postage costs.

I received a first class level of service from XHDATA and responses to my emails were prompt and professional.

I have recently purchased two radios from XHDATA, the D-368 and the D-808. Both of these radios are superb!
The D-368 is supplied with a rechargeable battery and charging cable, it is well built and easy to use. Even with the whip antenna I can listen to many stations on FM and SW, it has the old school 'analogue' tuning, you simply select the frequency range via a switch on the front of the radio and then scroll through using the tuning wheel on the right hand side.... volume wheel is on the right hand side below the tuning wheel, it is not close enough to cause any issues unless you have big fingers and thumbs!
The sound is incredible! Obviously there is no FM stereo unless you use headphones, there is an SD card slot which I haven't used, no external antenna connecting port, but you can use a clip on wire antenna which XHDATA also sell...or just simply attach any wire to help with SW receiving.
Now on to the D-808. This radio is absolutely brilliant! It is a DSP radio so it has 'soft muting' i.e. it quietens as you tune...not an issue for me but it seems to be an irritation for some folk. The D-808 is both simple and complex! It's easy to use and has many technological aspects that further enhance it. FM reception is stunning, MW is on par for UK, not much available! Similar situation on LW. Where this radio comes into its own is the SW, SSB and AirBand. It is very sensitive on these frequencies and I have been amazed that I can hear air traffic... considering I live nowhere near any airports! This radio is a little box of magic! The sound is very rich and I'm extremely happy with it.
It also comes with a rechargeable battery and charging cable and because it has an external antenna port they also supply a wire antenna.
Customer service is brilliant, I had a slight issue with a clip on antenna that I purchased from Amazon...it was in fairness a second hand one, so the important clip connector was missing... XHDATA were very quick to respond and resolve the issue, all emails were polite and I wholly recommend this company!
