Same as what others have said

Same as what others have said. Signed up for free account because of a class I was in (don't even remember which class). Never went back. Started getting bills for it, have been trying for months to get it cancelled to no avail. They send a link to a set of instructions that doesn't match the portal and when I tried to find how to get there on my own, I am locked out of features because of the $5.XX payment they want me to make. Some might say it's just $5, but when will it end? I didn't use the software either which as a monitoring service they should be able to see for themselves.

Spam Tactics

I never heard of this company and they reached out to me through a cold call. From the initial call I was somewhat interested to hear the pitch as my company is currently expanding into services they offer. I had a meeting booked for 3pm. I got a little caught up with a customer on the phone and went to go send an email saying I'll be joining shortly. Before I can even send one out my phone has already been called by 3 different numbers around the country in seconds. It doesn't stop. I stop typing the email for a moment because I feel like the second I'm off with my customer I'll be talking to someone. 6 phone calls all from different area codes fire off within 5 minutes. While this is happening I pull up Trustpilot and verify that I'm most likely no longer interested. Honestly, I don't trust any company that has a robo-dialing system that can shoot out any random number like that. I definitely don't trust one that'll call THAT MANY times within a few minutes. Insane behavior.

Invoices from nowhere.

have never had any dealings with this company, but they just keep emailing my invoices. I get at least one a month, all for less than 5 dollars but again, I have never even heard of them before the invoices started showing up. called them and the just said to email them. emailed them and they replied with a link to their ticketing system on their website......which you need an account to view....which I do not have as again, I have no business relationship with this company.

Billing issues

Billing issues. I have a subscription for all their services, including their SOC service which has been great. The issue is their licensing module issue. I am being charged for services that I have already paid for but because their own licensing module issue, my credit card on file has been charged, even though I have not authorized the charges. My account rep has emailed the accounts receivables department, but I have not heard anything. Not good customer service.

Xcitium offered a up to 50 user license… that was "shockingly" not free

Xcitium offered a up to 50 user license for Free. We tried their service on a couple of PCs and brought the system down in performance; we NEVER signed up for anything past FREE; and then started getting random monthly invoices for services we didn't use or subscribe to; then they tell me it was my fault and I needed to fix the problem in some portal that didn't work, all with a swirling circle trying to load; which never did. Us now for three months have told them we didn't signup for ANY paid subscription and now to fix it I had to login and make changes that are now on a "Frozen" account because we didn't pay a $4.00 bill for a "Free up to 50 devices" trial?? Nope, not today.. Avoid this company; they will bait and switch you and then attempt to send invoices for service that was not subscribed to..............

Did not sign up for service; gotten invoices in email; nobody answers phone to discuss

I've gotten two or three invoices in my email for services from this company. I had never heard of this company and did not sign up for services. I've called them twice, today and last month, and nobody answers the phone even during business hours. I did not leave a message because frankly, I don't want them having my phone number to call me back and harass me. If they try to collect on these invoices, legal action will ensue. I examined the emails and invoices and they are directly from Xcitium (they do not seem to be a third party scam getting you to call in with your credit card number). I called them at 973-859-4000 and nobody is ever available.

Edit: Over 18 months since my initial review, and I am STILL getting invoices every single month in my email from this company. A salesperson, Syed Ubasheer Uddin, sent a cold sales email in September 2025. I decided to respond to him and tell him what was happening. He promised to resolve the issue. He eventually stopped responding, and the issue is still not resolved. I will be contacting the NJ Attorney General to file a complaint.
