I believe the programmers or system architect/s are not very logically minded. Assuming they have these people. Or maybe they don't have any "local" contacts so they ignore the parameters and send you people who live anywhere from 100 to 2300 miles away. No luck locally but have had nice responses from other States. I'm wondering why I'm only interesting to ladies who live so far away. There are also logic errors using SmartPicks geezzz. Don't they have any quality control???? When I get my new windows11, I'll load WireShark on it to see of I can help analyze the issues with SmartPicks and the mileage settings issue. i'm a retired and bored network engineer and certified network analyst.

What is made my experience great is: Zoosk customer service was notified of any scammers and removed them emidiatly. For my three months of subscription, I feel safe with payments, never had problems. The information about people, Zoosk members, was true.

Subscriptions to anything else on the planet are revocable and refundable, if prepaid. Dating sites should not be excluded. I will not give Zoosk a good review online because of this policy for not refunding prepaid subscriptions when a purchaser is not wanting to use the service.

Number one Zoosk Sucks. You cannot tell who is a paid member and who is not. Non-subscribers cannot reply To your messages if you are a paid member. They keep sending me women from hundreds of miles away. It doesn’t matter how many times you change the settings you still get the same thing you do not get local people. If you read any of the other reviews has replied to all of them with a generic message. Don’t waste your money.

Way too many scammers, frauds and fake profiles. Over the last 2 months I would say I averaged at least 2 security notices per week from you about someone who I had contact with who had been removed for fraudulent activities.not a very safe feeling for being online

I have not had any response to my internal Customer Service feedback rating message yet, despite responding to Zoosk own internal feedback rating request and providing further information.

Out-of-area women are sent to me by zoosk. It happens constantly. I told them about this, but they've done nothing to fix the problem. I've checked my preferences and they are supposed to exclude those who are too far away. Why zoosk thinks it's fine to try to date women who live 100s of miles away baffles me. Another thing, when reviewing the people who view me, wherein I click on a woman, I quite frequently end up in another woman's profile that I did not click on to view. Frustrating!! Zoosk has to know about these problems, but appear to not care. I get promises, but no results. There are many profiles that appear to fall into the fake or scammer category. If these profiles have no "Story" filled out or anything below their picture, my thinking is that profile stands good chance on being fake or that profile is that of a scammer. I can't prove it, so I never mention the name of these incomplete reviews. SOLUTION --- require people to fill out there profile page completely, including their "Story" portion. A scammer might use poor grammar (if from another country), and thus highlight a foreign scammer so that your team can investigate. I don't know if a paying subscriber would be locked out from relaying a list of these people where only 50% of them were fake. Right now, I'm thinking of cancelling my paid subscription because of the massive amount of problems you're apparently not even beginning to solve. I can become a paid subscriber to a singles site where everything works fine. Hire a team who can fix the many errors in your database, and fix the other problems. It'll cost you extra for a while, but only then will you become a good site to join.

The app is very easy to use and the selection are good but you have to be careful. Some are just scammers but as far as the app goes it's great and the customer service is top notch. Any problems or concerns? They're on top of it within 24 hours. You get a reply back

If I could give zero stars I would.
I have never come across so many scammers, bots and fake accounts in one place.

This company are a joke
I have been on previous and thought it was ok so decided to rejoin after becoming single only to find out my profile has still been on even after deactivating it as there was a message off someone when i wasn’t active on the site people I have spoke to previously all say new member which I find odd I could understand one or two
I contacted customer service to contact me as for data protection policy only to be told nobody can contact you
I would seriously think twice about joining unless you want you details on there forever

I just wanted to cancel my account. There was no button on the account to do so and I even tried changing it to not auto renew but that didn't work. The company attempted to charge me for another month. So I finally sent them an email explaining the difficulty I was having. They told me as a one time courtesy they would cancel. So be sure if you just want to try it to go in and set it to NOT AUTO RENEW.

I found some very nice people women on this website I found some not to be so honest with their age in the category that you select but overall it was a very pleasant experience and I did meet several different women and go on dates I've been on for quite a while but overall experience I believe to be good yet were some scam events thank goodness I have experience and your company also was aware of several of them and shut them down best regards George William Welch Jr. I will recommend your account Zoosk to anybody who asks in any conversations I have about dating my experiences which were good overall thanks again for your help I might be back I don't know for sure I really have not met the person that I really want to lock in with but that might not ever happen either so I will just go with life and hope that that person will show up eventually it's hard to replace a one marriage woman who I was married to for over 48 to 52 years for she passed again best regards sincerely George thank you your company for your help. 😁

Know this before you pay. You can send likes to people and you will get immediate responses from them saying you got a message from so-and-so. But these messages are not real, they are “greetings” which are generated by Zoosk and not the person. They are not into you as Zoosk suggests. They are to deceive you into paying so you could look at them. They are not sent from the person they are sent from Zoosk. I know this because I’ve asked them if they sent it and they said no. Zoosk will trick you into paying only to see fake messages. Shame on you Zoosk. This should be illegal. No women can message you because none of them pay! The guy has to pay and the deal with Zoosks deceptive ways. Bumble is learning this and so will Zoosk.

Don’t waste your money, most people are not paid members so cannot message. Message’s received are from people hundreds miles away. This is my second time, I deleted my account last year, only to find it was still there when I decided to join again. They called it reactivation! When I cancel I expect my account to be actually deleted.

You do not remove client details, despite clear and polite requests.

My issue was quickly attended to by the Zoosk customer team. I was happy with the result.

I was pleasantly suprised that once I had sent in my request about 1 week ago (05/08/2024), I got a response via automatic reply, which is what I was expecting. But then they (support), fixed all issues fast without any questions and completely.

Not only is the site terribly glitchy, but you don't get to customize searches or matches. You don't get to choose locations, so I randomly get people from other countries. You don't get to choose ethnicities, so 1/2 of my results and people trying to contact me are ethnicities I do not want. You don't get to choose drinker/non-drinker, smoker/non-smoker, etc..., so I'm always getting matched with heavy drinkers and smokers (can't be around for health reasons). I received a pop-up once after using Carousel that asked which ethnicities I wanted and how I felt about smoking. I answered clearly. It did no good at all. I have matched with several people and the site says "Find this person in your connections!" I go to connections, and no one is there! Once they finally get you matched, they intentionally lose that person and you never see them again. This is their way of keeping you on the site, so you'll try to find the person you matched with. As soon as this month is over, I'm cancelling and de-activating my account.

Awful site, lots of fake profiles.
Very badly designed, everytime you search you have to trawl through the generically laid out format, same pics over and over, can't chose geographical searches.
Basically don't waste your time .

A garbage website only made to collect revenue while doing nothing else. Sure, it claims to be safe & secure, but it’s at the expense of the user to do the sysadmin’s job by reporting fake users with burner cell phone number scribbled on profile pictures. Do yourself a huge favor and look elsewhere because there are next to no real single users on Zoosk!
The reply Zoosk sent me was nothing more than the same response you'd get from a politician, wanting campaign donations in exchange for doing nothing. They claim to have a "team" to keep everyone safe & secure. Yet all they do is have that one profile that reported the fake user not see that fake user. But the fake user is still a member to broadcast their lies and burner cell phone numbers because it requires that one-person "team" to actually get up and do work (Maybe even notify the authorities or FBI). If you're on Zoosk, you will be robbed by these virtual panhandlers.
