This has been a disaster

This has been a disaster. I booked an appointment online and the provider had to cancel it at the last minute due to an elevator malfunction in his building (I can't climb several flights of stairs to get to his office). This is no one's fault but ZocDoc keeps contacting me about my appointment even though I have repeatedly responded that the appointment had been cancelled. I will never use them again!!!

Hi Randie, thank you for reaching out. We’re truly sorry to hear about your experience on our platform. We work hard to ensure a smooth booking process for all our patients, and it’s disappointing to know that things didn’t go as expected after you scheduled your visit. We understand how upsetting it can be to receive notifications for a cancelled appointment. This can happen if the office doesn't cancel the appointment through Zocdoc directly. We apologize for this and assure you this isn't the level of service we aim to provide. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

I often turn to Zocdoc to find…

I often turn to Zocdoc to find specialty doctors within my insurance network. My recent experience was finding a GI doctor close to my home with prompt availability, which I was able to do. I had a good experience with that Doctor and the process between Zocdoc appt and the doctors office was smooth.

Zocdoc had provided me with a great…

Zocdoc had provided me with a great patient panel; however, the system patients have for reviewing providers is significantly flawed. Patients may leave a numerical rating with no explanation. There is no provision for the provider to respond. Patients use the rating system to punish providers who are prohibited by their state regulatory boards from prescribing excessive amounts of controlled substances. Thereby, Zocdoc allows a platform for patients to slander providers and thinks this is an acceptable review. This is outrageous considering that the company espouses a commitment to integrity.

Hi Isaac, we’re sorry for the frustration you’ve had with reviews. Zocdoc uses a closed‑loop review system where only patients who booked and were seen can leave feedback, and our Trust & Safety team can only remove reviews that violate our policies (for example, hate speech, threats, or privacy violations). If you believe a specific review breaks those rules, please reach out to us with details by giving us a call at 866-962-3621 or email service@zocdoc.com so we can re‑review it. Thank you for sharing this feedback.

Dr Parry

Just had an amazing session with Dr. Parry. She asked all the right questions and was so positive and present throughout. Honestly, I wish she could be my therapist—such a rare find! Keep pushing forward, the right support makes all the difference.
