NO LONGER ACCOUNTABLE OR CARING

Zelle WAS the only decent payment service left, and they've sadly followed suit long with the rest of the careless coldhearted clueless detached corporate stiffs.
When you cannot get someone one the phone to decipher whether an email has come from their company or not, THAT SHOULD BE THE FLIPPING END OF THAT COMPANY.
God knows they're asking for it.

Monthly I receive payments due from careless clueless companies ignorance class action lawsuit settlements.
Zelle will soon join the careless ranks of this evil idiocy too I bet!

Horrible

Horrible, not even try using it. It's not even service. If you are not using it very often, please don't. You will be frustrated many times of the process and won't be able to complete transaction or send money without getting in fumes. Better use cash or old check will be even faster than zelle. Ditched PayPal years ago and now will ditch zelle for good. Useless. Attempted to use via Chase. Third world country, SADLY.

Why anyone uses this service is beyond me. Today I had to make a payment to a service provider who for whatever reason only accepts only Zelle. And their risk system decides to decline my transaction. So I’m basically stranded and had to get my elderly mother to find a sizable cash amount to pay the guy as he was delivering my car across the country to her.
I understand you have a risk system. But everyone else with a risk system is able to txt me immediately and let me clear the transaction. These guys do nothing. They say 24 hours. Can’t depends on bank. Nothing. How this service got into banking is beyond me.

By far the worst company I have ever had to interact with. Someone accidentally transferred money into my account because they mistyped the phone number (off by 1 digit). I returned their money but Zelle cancelled my account as fraudulent. Was on calls on 5 occasions to sort out and their IT team is unbelievably rude. There was this guy in the IT security team who behaved like he could care less whether they had customers or not. He was so rude that he used terms like "stupid", "fraud". I hope this company goes bankrupt.

zelle is a truly deplorable service

Zelle is a truly deplorable service. An outage for over 12 hours with no disclosure on the service that there may be a delay is absolutely ridiculous. How hard would it really be to say "Our service is experiencing some delays, would you like to proceed". And the gaslighting of their customer service insisting it's a bank issue is crazy. This is also not even nearly the first time this has happened.

This is a terrible "service."

This is a terrible "service." They apparently have transfers reviewed by AI or some weird algorithm that literally will NOT let you send money to a clearly trusted and verified receiver!! It's MY money, if I say the source is trusted, it IS! And yet Zelle refused to do the transfer, then, finally allowed (randomly), and then, after multiple successes, all of a sudden started to "review" the next, much smaller transfer. Won't use them unless I have to (Wells Fargo, please find a different transfer method--Venmo is fabulous!!)

I allowed a customer to pay me through Zelle because this was the only way he had to pay. Zelle allowed the customer to file a false claim on my business for a refund knowing the transaction was from a legal business. The customer filed a false claim and now I’m going to file a claim against him, navy federal and Zelle.

I used zell from my Bank TRUIST

I used zell from my Bank account (which I did not know is actualy an owner of the company...But anyways I was purchasing something from a friend(or who I thought was my friend) on line. I zelled the money and within 2 minutes I realized it was not my friend but someone impersonating her. I immediately contacted Truist and Zell to stop the transaction and filed a police report in my county(all within minutes of the transaction...see attached docs.. But neither would help until funds cleared my account, which was over 24 hours later and by then the impersonators had closed the account it went too and my money was forever lost. I take full blame for being scammed but I did everything in my power to stop it once it was realized but due to their lack of implimenting a stop transaction ASAP they could have prevented it. In todays world their security should be more secure in order to track fraud..after all they had to know the account they were sending the money too and could have alerrted that bank to put a hold on funds until it could be confirmed.(I also contacted my friend who said it also happened the day before and she had reported it.

Can Send but Not Receive

I sent money fine, but when I was to get a refund, I could find no way to set up the transfer to my account. I called my bank and basically received an explanation on how to send money. I sent a complaint to Zelle and they sent a no-response email saying for me to contact my bank. Sadly, my emails have disappeared. I did not delete them. I do know I emailed them on July 16, 2024. And I'm out $100.

People should all team up and put a lawsuit on zelle for making people fight to send money when it's our banks that use them and force us to do maybe a lawsuit against our banks that use zelle and zelle itself will get zelle doing things right or make our banks get rid of them

Zell is the worst company

This is the worst company. Do not connect your bank accounts to this company. People are committing fraud and then it reflects on you. It will affect your bank accounts and they will get shut down. No one even gives you notice, simply closed account. DO not trust zelle or anyone who is asking for money through that platform. Look at the reviews all over the web and do not become a victim. Do not download that app. Read what has happened to victims myself included.

I have used Zelle for years without any troubles. I moved and now using a bank that doesn’t use Zelle. I got a debit card and uploaded all my info on Zelle app. A friend sent me monies that did go through to my bank, and then for no reason, Zelle restricted my phone to where now I can’t receive or send monies. I have called Zelle 4 times, and no one can tell me what I did wrong. Extremely frustrating 😳
