Hello-

This message is to provide an update to the current case against Portabl and associated parties. As indicated in earlier presentations, this case was brought under a RICO (racketeering) claim in the Southern District of New York.

UPDATE

An amended complaint was filed, adding as a new defendant an entity believed to be the holding company of Portabl. The newly added defendant, SNJ S.A., is based in Luxembourg. Defendants L. Wery, Jeunehomme, and Castro are major shareholders in SNJ S.A. My associate, Xiaoqing Shen, located SNJ S.A. as the holder the trademark PORTABL, which was filed in the US Trademark Office.

We have secured service of process on several of the defendants in Belgium. We are awaiting service of process for SNJ S.A. (which we believe to be within this week). Service of process was accomplished via the Hague Convention, requiring mailing the full complaint, evidence, and declarations to Belgium, and service was accomplished using an in-country, court recognized bailiff. Service of process to SNJ S.A. should be faster as we arranged to print and deliver the documents by our agent in Luxembourg.

The Judge in the case issued an Order relating to the case, requiring various steps to be taken by Plaintiffs and Defendants.

We will continue to keep you apprised as the case progresses.

Ordered in 2015, never received anything.

Total scam. Ordered my monitor in 2022. Dozens of emails back and forth. Nothing. They disappeared and re-appeared with new website and new emails.
I've denounced them to the FBI, but it will probably require a lot of people making noise for the FBI to take action.

Scam. Ordered in 2016 and still no one got nothing lmao. Reviews on official website are fake, obviously. Not even ONE 1 star review lol. Can’t leave a review directly either, they monitor all of them.

A total scam. Paid for their kickstart in April 2016, never received anything. Wrote many mails, chats with them. Always fake promises and lies. I'll inform FOD Economy Belgium.

Complete Scam. Placed the order in 7/2017 and never got my order. They don’t respond to emails or messages of any kind

It's a scam, don't get fooled by them. Almost 10 years that I have supported their KickStarter campaign. Every time, they tell you that you order will be next... stay away.

I was just on my Kickstarter account and was cleaning up my message when I came across the biggest scam ever. I backed this company on Kickstarted in mid-2015. I was backer number 657 those people not only did not deliver but they kept striking everyone along with emails, videos, and fake production videos on how the product was coming. In 2015 it cost me €338 with nothing but empty promises. It appears that they still operate the business, I don't know how but I would suggest you spend your money elsewhere.

Original backer from the Kickstarter here. 9 year of promises, knowing that I only live a 1 hour drive from the headquarters.

In comparison of other reviews, I still have a use case for this product, but these people just don't deliver ...

I purchased “Slidenjoy” for over $500 being told delivery was imminent, that was in 2015. Contacting them through the years there were various and many excuses. Never have received the product.

I’d like my money back with interest.

I'm the first backer on kickstarter which ordered a slidenjoy. This was in August 2015. Almost 10 years later and I still didn't receive anything. While the company should be located in Belgium, and I live also in Belgium 🤣

Sorry I can't rate them a zero. I,like MANY people, (so many in fact there's a Facebook group dedicated to it) have been waiting close to 9 years for the product I paid for! Complete and utter scam! Don't fall for it like soany others have. They're thieves plain and simple. RUN AWAY!

I have reported Slidenjoy now called Protbal monitor to the cyber crime unit in the UK, Belgium tax and department and Honk Hong crime unit for intentionally defraud people without having a product line. They have scam me £485 and number is 123710. Over 100,000 people have been scam by Laurent Wéry, Charlee Jeunehomme, Zakaria Naoumi & Thomas Castro Co-Founder at Portabl & Slidenjoy are professional scam artists and make their living as CON Artists

Follow up on this scammer company.

They have a boiler plate response that they give to all of the negative reviews that they get, and apparently, from reading the other reviews, they have started flagging these as if they are false. Problem is, they never do the very simplest solution to these reviews:
Namely, to ship out the products that people have bought.

Contacting their customer support is either insulting, or if you actually talk to an honest employee, you quickly learn that the company hires good and honest people to work for them and gives them a lying script to tell customers. I feel bad for their employees.

My last contact with them involve them giving me the same false promise of shipping out my product within two months, along with a promise of an update in four weeks. That was before the pandemic.

Pandemic or not, last I checked, the virus does not affect Internet messages. So there really is no excuse for not giving updates to the customers.

And get this! My last customer service exchange with them in 2020 was to have them indicate to me that they will not in fact be shipping out orders per the sequence of orders being placed, but rather some sort of random lottery system, so that people who have placed recent orders do not feel bad that their orders are delayed. so I guess the folks like us that place their orders six or seven years ago, actually, eight years ago now, can go jump in a lake.

On top of this!!! Effective two weeks ago, they now don't let you login unless you "reactivate" your account!!! Like they lost the info!!
