Great service. They were able to meet my requirements and saved me hours of research! Follow up calls were always helpful to cover any changes in the project and making sure that I was receiving the help I required.

time consuming and a waste of time and money. Your shortlist are only interested in taking money for dubious leads. The process of having to call and email 3 times, before you have to go through the battle of the pass back system is painful. This also just adds salt to the wounds that you are taking your time up on pointless leads. Out of about 20 leads, i've managed to pass back 14 the ones I haven't been able to passback as it passed the time (despite the clients not making decision till way into the future) only 1 was a genuine contact. This is such a timely process for zero value and at such a large cost per "lead".
I have tried to provide feedback that at £300 + a lead you would expect to at least be given contact details of a decision maker or influencer. To be told you don't have to opt for those if you don't want to, however it doesn't make it clear when you are trying to bid for a lead. No interest in trying to improve the service.

Shortlist was helpful as it helped kickstart our process to find a new Warehouse Management system. Although we didn't actually go with any of the vendors they recommended they did make our procurement list and helped us assess what we did and did not want.

We used YourShortList when they used to…
We used YourShortList when they used to be called SaaS. We decided to give them another go as they told us everything has changed from those days and it that all calls where reviewed before they are passed to you.
We took 6 different leads on and only 1 out of the 6 even knew they had signed up to YSL and the other 1 was not interested in the services at all.
We made sure that we had a contractual clause meaning that if the service was still not good we would get a full refund after providing evidence of calls.
So we called in that clause in the contract and have supplied all the information about the calls and emails and now the Sales Manager and Director wont even pick up a call or email to us.
Would not recommend to anyone to use

Very poor quality leads
I used them in my current and previous roles and the leads are of very poor quality, really badly qualified and given out to more suppliers than they say. The team are desperate to get you leads so you end up with leads where the decision is many months ahead. My advice is let me get the leads for you as at least the DMP would of been met. Correct Timescale, Decision Maker, Budget, Need.

Continously poor experience
Unable to provide any viable leads over 2years and in addition the communication was always poor experience when dealing with key account managers.
Despite raising multiple complaints early on we were unable to withdraw our funds.

My Experience after 9 month
My Experience after 9 month: We tried 12 leads, 1 was healthy, the others were absolutely poor in quality. The details in 11 out of 12 leads were purposeless. Example: "customer has Microsoft 365 and wants to discuss a new Microsoft 365 solution" or "Customer has everything on-premises... - current infrastructure solution: Microsoft Azure".
If you want to discuss with them about promises they made, it's not possible to get in touch with them. Even after 5 mails and callback requests, no answer. They strictly follow an ostrich policy.
Do not buy leads from YourShortlist!

Warning: Poor Quality Leads and Ineffective Service - Choose Another Provider
- The leads are of poor quality (incorrect and erroneous information, the contact persons are not decision-makers in the process, etc.)
- When you try to get in touch with them, they do not respond.
- They give you access to a portal, where you manage everything, that also does not work.
In short, if you want to use a lead purchasing service, use another company, do not waste your money.

I would use YSL again
I dealt with Jonathan Pluck from YSL and the experience was great. I have read other reviews on here and believe it comes down to ensuring your requirement is accurate, whether as provider or buyer.
For me, I had a challenge to very rapidly narrow down the vast market of HR and ERP solutions, with a set of constraints unique to a HMG customer. The rapid turnaround of a meaningful market assessment and subsequent contacts with credible solution providers was invaluable. I could readily re-use the material without wasting time.
The level of subsequent contact received from potential solution providers was ideal. I would use YSL again in the interests of saving time.

Very bad
Very bad! First of all, we started receiving emails from this company without any authorization from us, I believe it is some illegal way of obtaining contacts, completely outside the laws that govern the GDPR. On the other hand, we cannot stop the subscription, since all paths lead to error. Yet, they do not respond to any emails. In the end, it is absolutely useless... just SPAM...
