Out Of The Blue

Your Franking were a supplier of ours a few years back, but with some changes we found a more suitable supplier for our franking machine toner. We received a cartridge from Your Franking a few weeks back, out of the blue. I contacted them to ask who had ordered it and they advised "Persons name ordered it" I told Your Franking that's not possible, this is my responsibility. And requested the returns process, I was sent another invoice, I requested the returns process 4 separate times until they finally gave it to me! This is a poor, business practice and I am not happy that it took so long to get it sorted considering I never requested the product!

Scam company, sends goods out to you and then invents people that they’ve spoken to and demands £160 what a joke!

Our customer contacted us to inform us that this company contacted our customer directly as if they worked for us and offered to supply them toners.

Fortunately the toners are included in the maintenance agreement for our client.

If you are thinking of using this company, I have evidence that they are not ethical and I would suggest you use my company instead. We are Reid Business Machines Ltd in Wembley. Thank you.

Scam

We received an unsolicited sales call from this company trying to sell us franking cartridges, which we declined as we already had spare cartridges for our machine. A few days later, cartridges arrived anyway, and they were for a completely different franking machine. When we called to challenge this, we were played a recording of the call that appeared to have been edited to falsely suggest that we had agreed to the order. After mentioning that we would go to trading standards they backed off and have emailed a returns label.

This was an extremely worrying experience we would urge others to be very careful before dealing with this company.

Scam Company

As others have already stated, I had a call from this company asking about our franking machine. They were incredibly hard to understand and after a brief conversation I put the phone down. The next day, I received a package from them containing ink for the (wrong) franking machine. I tried to get back in touch straight away to find out why I had received this, never heard back until they were chasing an invoice that we apparently owed. After I explained that I didn't want or need the items, they told me they had a recorded conversation of me asking for these and that they don't accept returns. Once I explained consumer rights to them and threatened to contact Trading Standards they backed off and accepted the return.

It's a SCAM

Advice is to put the phone down as soon as they call. It's a scam. I saw a review from someone who had the exact same experience as I did. I am new to an office team and they called and made it sound as if they are our current supplier e.g. 'your franking company'. I told them we're happy with our current set up and then I get two expensive cartridges in the post. When I called to return them they told me they don't accept returns and that I needed to pay because I 'agreed over the phone'. After I put up a bit of a fight, they sent me a return label. Do not speak to them!

SCAM, FRAUD!!!!!

SCAM!!!!!! Contacted our receptionist we are quite a big company and they said we are calling from "Your franking company" the irony of it! They automatically sent £285 worth of ink along with an invoice that nobody agreed too! It is a complete SCAM! Then someone from an Indian call centre called with a bad attitude and threatening behaviour chasing a payment after we returned the ink. Do not pay anything it has been reported to Trading Standards!!!

Quite a sophisticated scam really

They cold call people at random saying they are calling from their franking company, can see you're running low on ink & need some sending out. The person at the other end (usually a receptionist/ admin employee), if their company do use franking machines may query if they are speaking to their usual franking company, at which point they reassure them they are indeed 'Your Franking' company and bobs your uncle they've sent you some ink you probably don't need/ doesn't fit your franking machine anyway but here's the invoice for £250 which you need to pay & no refunds accepted.

If you're reading this review it's probably too late but yeh you've been scammed.

Appalling Company!!!

We were also sent franking Ink we didn't want under false pretenses!
We have tried to phone them and our calls continually get diverted to an answer machine. To date we have not received a call to explain why they sent us the ink @ £188 plus VAT per cartridge!!!!!!

Dodgy Company, avoid this company at all costs!

They call you and try to force you into purchasing supplies for your franking machine. They are not one of our suppliers (nor will they ever be), they try tricks to make you think that another member of your team has ok'd the purchased. If you say no they are either rude or hang up. They call every month and they call on an anonymous number so you can't even block them.

Fraudulent Company

Your Franking called our GP Practice under false pretences, asking if our franking machine was working fine despite this company having nothing to do with our franking machine. They then said our spare ink cartridge must have been used by now, and offered to send a new one, with no mention of if we would be charged or how much. We received the ink cartridge, and an invoice followed shortly after. Their customer services hung up on me when I explained we wouldn't be paying the invoice and they needed to collect their toner, and emails bounce back. Attempting to defraud an NHS service is heinous behaviour, avoid this company like the plague.

AVOID!!!!!!

Received a phone call a few weeks ago from a company claiming to be our franking machine supplier, offering a “buy one, get one free” deal. I agreed, but when the ink arrived, it was completely different from our usual one. Then an invoice came for over £250!

After numerous emails asking to return the product, they kept calling me every week (from India), insisting they don’t accept returns and promising to send the correct ink instead. What an absolute nightmare. I’m sending it back, and we will not be paying anything. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

If they will be calling here again they will be reported to Trading Standards

Underhanded, cold callers who do not comply with GDPR

This company made a cold call to my business, used underhanded techniques and applied pressure on a junior staff member, who identified herself to the caller as a junior staff member. The caller would have known there was no authority for that individual to place orders. Whilst we will give more training to our staff to manage these calls in future, after listening to the call it was apparent that the sales person was very experienced in her method, talking exceptionally quickly, being very unclear, confusing and making false statements, advising we'd purchased previously, that it was a deal they had on and suggested the sale was already agreed. What makes it worse is that I have requested a copy of the call, under GDPR regulations and they have refused to share the call, they have allowed me to listen to it once over the telephone. They also claim two orders were made, but would only provide one call. When I have asked for dates of the calls in order for me to find the call through our own call recording system, they have refused to shared the information. This leads me to believe they are very aware of how sales are made and want to ensure no official evidence is released!

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company! They called repeatedly saying they were our supplier of franking machine consumables (untrue) and that the labels we were using were no longer approved by Royal Mail (untrue) and that we had to order more (untrue).
They rang and rang until they spoke to a new member of staff who did not know the correct procedure and used the phrase "shall we place your usual order". She was completely taken in by this and the order was placed, when it arrived the labels were completely useless to us anyway as they were not compatible with our machine even if we were to keep them (which we are not as this company are not our supplier).
I have been in touch to have the order returned but am still waiting for confirmation that it will be collected. We have advised our finance department not to pay this invoice when it arrived.
They use very underhand and almost bully-boy tactics to get orders.
Avoid at all costs.
