The day i recived the Guembri, i was passing through some serius difficulties at work, by geting homei found the boxe, and i was verry pleased by the way every things was taken care of, i have seen my guembri in photos but nothing will discribe how it felt to se it life and how amazing it plays.

Hassan made my dream come true. Now I’m finally a owner of a beautiful large guembri. Hassan is very responsive and flexible.

Excellent experience! In June I was in Essaouira to play a concert. I knew of Yelloworkshop because I played there five years ago and the bass player of the band bought a Guimbri in this shop. He was very satisfied and ask me this time to get him some extra strings. I went twice to the shop but it was closed. Second time it was lunch break. I was about to go away but I asked around and from another shop they called by phone the owner, who cut short the lunch and came after half an hour. Hassan, a very polite man. He showed me the instruments options, played a little bit and I decided, beyond getting the extra string for my friend, to buy an instrument for myself ( I am a percussionist...). I always loved the sound and the phrasing of Guimbri. I could not bring it with me and we agreed with Hassan for an expedition. I payed few days later through PayPal and he sent the instrument. It arrived in less then 4 weeks in perfect shape with a very good and solid packging. A great instrument, a great artisan, a reliable seller. Thanks thanks thanks

Hassan was a pleasure to work with through the entire process and his packaging and shipping was extraordinary to ensure the instrument arrived in perfect condition and in a very timely manner. I bought 2 Guembri’s from Yellowworkshop and the instruments are exceptional in Quality. I am so happy to have bought them directly from the builder Mr. Hassan Laarousi who sent them in a specially build box all the way from Morocco to Hawaii. Very good communication, Mr. Hassan speaks perfect english. All in all this was a very pleasant experience.

I would like to recommend Yellow Workshop's craftsmanship and customer service. They made a nice guembri that sounds good and sent it to me perfectly packaged. Maallem Hassan is a great craftsman, the guembri is awesome and sounds amazing. The service cannot be more professional, he was attentive to every detail from request to shipping, and I was surprised how well the instrument was kept when I received it in Switzerland.
If you want a guembri, you don't need to look elsewhere this is the best address.

I am a professional musician and I’m writing this review to recommend Hassan Laarousi and the Yellow Shop to anyone who is serious about getting a great guembri and learning about the wonderful tradition Gnaoua music. Hassan created a wonderful instrument for me. He is professional, courteous, and his work is excellent. The instrument sings wonderfully and has soul that makes my heart sing. It feels great to the hands and even smells wonderful ! The guembri arrived from Morocco to the United States in perfect shape in a short amount of time . I play it every day and enjoy it tremendously. Hassan put a lot of love and care into his instruments and you can feel it when you play them. He’s got a variety of sizes and styles and his work bears the mark of an excellent professionalism. Hassan communicated with me throughout the process and we were able to exchange ideas and information about the music and the instrument. I highly recommend him and his work.
