I SKipped over to YBS
I have recently changed over from Skiptons to Yorkshire Building Society, and it was a seemless transition, I opened a regular Savings account with the help of a young trainee who was excellent with how she performed her task with such confidence, her name was Misty Murray and was ghosted by Ben, it was all explained clearly and I was confident to proceed.

Helpful and friendly service in a high street branch
Excellent to have a branch in the middle of Canterbury where you can discuss details and seek help in establishing and maintaining an account. Staff are friendly, well informed and professional.

Banked with these for years
Banked with these for years. Disgusted in them. Local branch were excellent. New staff. Rude and unhelpful. Switched to Internet. Attempted isa transfer three times. Anxious not to be locked in to a poor interest rate. Chased up several times. Finally I was told it would go through before bank holiday. Just found out they have taken £60 off my interest! Awful to deal with. Call centre terrible, long waits. Closing my remaining accounts. Will be taking this further.

Opened an online ISA and it was a nightmare from start to finish.
I had no access to the account , even though I entered the right details , I then reset everything but alas still no access , whwn asking customer service for support I was just told to log in!!!
Needless to say once I eventually managed to get access ( after making a formal complaint and them admitting there was a issue) I closed the account
