Ordered and collected from yangtze river tonight. Ordered via the website prior to pick up. Its without doubt the worst takeaway in my life. The food was both overcooked and some undercooked. The sauce in the spare ribs had a strange taste and looked like black engine engine oil. The rice was over fryed and the egg in the rice was fryed to almost dark brown. Chips tasted stale. The chicken balls where over cooked and hard to cut into. Once through the batter wall the insides where more dough and not much chicken. The one part of the meal that seemed ok was the chicken curry but most would not eat because of the state of the rest of the meal. The meal cost was £36.20 very expensive. Given the price of the food i thought it would be to a excellent standard but it was appalling. There are other takeaways nearby or within the town centre at a value price and better quality. I have pictures of the actual meal and they speak for themselfs.
