I ordered a Xhorse Key Tool Plus from their EU website because the product was clearly shown as “in stock” and advertised as shipped from an EU warehouse with a delivery time of around 4–7 business days.

After placing the order and having the payment charged, the order remained “pending” in their system for three days. I then contacted customer service myself to ask when the item would be shipped. Only after I made this inquiry was I informed that the EU warehouse is actually out of stock.

The only option offered was shipping the item from China, which would require me to pay additional import tax and VAT, something that was never mentioned when placing the order.

At no point did customer service attempt to find a solution that would not place additional costs on me, even though the incorrect stock information was on their website.

It also became clear during communication that the “German” shop is actually operated from China, with support responding from a Chinese phone number and with a time difference of about 8 hours, which makes communication slower and inconvenient.

Since I run a business and bought the tool for professional use, this situation creates delays for my customers. The product is still listed as “in stock” on their website, which is misleading for other buyers as well.

Customer service did respond politely, but the only solutions offered were to wait about two weeks for EU stock or accept shipping from China with extra costs.

Because of the misleading stock information, the delayed information about stock availability, and the lack of a fair solution, I can only give 2 stars

Do not use them! It all turns to custard once they have your payment. Product not being shipped, information requests either ignored or pacified. All the 1 star reviews on this company are well deserved. Unfortunately I didn't check trustpilot before giving them my money….

This product works really good.

If you have ever used a scan tool to perform a adaptation relearn. With a little research you should have enough confidence to be able to navigate the software provided.

Comes with a PDF file full of terms and diagrams to get you moving in the right direction

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of technical support provided by Xhorse for my MINI KEYTOOL device. Although the product is original and was purchased from a seller in China, it turns out that Xhorse refuses to provide any assistance simply because it is a "Chinese version." Nowhere during the purchase process or in any official documentation was this limitation mentioned, which shows a serious lack of transparency.

After reaching out to customer support, I received a generic response telling me to either contact the seller (who offers no help) or try to return the product — which is not a realistic option due to international shipping and use. As a paying customer, I expected that an authentic Xhorse product would come with global support. It’s frustrating and unacceptable that the company locks features or restricts usability based on region, with no clear warning to customers.

This experience has left me with a device that I cannot fully use and a company that seems unwilling to stand behind its own product. I would not recommend buying Xhorse tools unless you are 100% sure you're purchasing from your own region’s official dealer — and even then, I'd advise caution.

Two year after order and no machine. Don’t reply to mails and messages. This is just a scam company! Dont waste ur money here..

I have several products from xhorse, unfortunately I am very disappointed with their products dolphin 2xp 005 L, the battery died after a year when the warranty expired immediately after that the battery died, I also have a programmer there is another problem with the point system how many keys you program it reaches 80 points and everything can't do anymore so the whole xhorse point system is a scam, I recommend avoiding this company as much as possible

After i used the tool about 1 year …. Money wasted … no support , cant cut Keys proberly , cant read immo on most cars , no support what so ever … dont waste your money here …. My manual Cutting Machine is Way better than the dolphin and avdi Celine tool is much better tool to immo reading and pin Reading …. Not once have the key tool Max pro been able to read anything from obd ….. does not support what they are saying ….. China crap

Web site is look likes trustable but it's terrible Sugar is scammer. I ordered Xhorse pro max tool i paid and the Sugar is accept the money but product didn't come and the sguar doesn't response

Sent emails asking if they sell a key fob that's more like the actual size of the mk7 golf key as I'd like to but a case on it as there key which I have sadly, which is way chunky than a mk7 key so cases don't git on top of these, yeah so they don't respond too emails in which your will to buy with them, personally don't buy these keys as cases don't fit, there circuit boards are bigger son don't fit correctly in another brands version of mk7 golf key.

Have the pro max tool. Totally worthless doesnt work keys are to expensive need add on purchases.

Overall you can’t clone keys!

I recommend Autel much faster much more options much better customer service.

Shipping was fast and seller addressed my concerns, i.e. changing shipping address, setting up key tool max pro. I bought the tool with dolphin key cutting machine for my business.

This clown can't send purchase receipt, and dose not refunding money for items they dont have in stock.

Sugar your truly clown, You cannot provide purchase receipt for 2 month now, what type of business are you running.

This company is amazing I have the dolphin 2 xp005l and the key tool mini. I love both of them as well as my key reader.

Business is much better with everything connected together it's so efficient and the key generation has been better then anything else on the market.

Definitely would recommend them to anyone in the industry who needs supplies

Over all I had a very nice experience with these guys. Nice price and nice support!

XKA600EN model key was duplicated for my Subaru Forester and on my first drive the top plate (with the logo) fell off as did the PCB. By experiment I found that pressing on say the open car button can lift the top plate, then put the key in the ignition and turn the car on, the pressure of your fingers on the edge of the key slot cause the top plate to rotate and fall off. A manufacturing fault. The key supplier has never seen this happen before in 5 or 6 years of using xHorse keys. Several of his other customers have testified to the sturdiness and durability of that model key. Statistically, however, even with very good QC some low number of manufacturing faults can get through. I want to know if anyone else has had this experience if for no other reason that I can pass the intel onto the person who supplied the key as a duplicate for my Subaru car key.
