Misleading sales and finance agreement – proceed with extreme caution

I would strongly advise any business to exercise extreme caution when dealing with XBM Limited.

I was approached regarding what was described as a “no extra cost” upgrade to my existing printer. I was also told I would be saving money each month. These statements were made in writing.

Based on those representations, I signed the documents electronically.

It later became apparent that I had actually been placed into a new 63-month finance lease agreement with GRENKE Leasing Ltd, something that was never clearly explained to me at the time.

The financial reality was completely different from what had been described. I went from paying approximately £108 per quarter to around £300 per month, which directly contradicted the assurances given.

The issue only became clear several months later when the payments began to leave my account.

When I raised this with XBM, my complaint was rejected, despite providing written evidence of the original representations.

The situation escalated to the point of enforcement action, which was ultimately resolved in my favour, adding further concern about how these agreements are handled.

I am now pursuing this matter formally due to what I believe to be misrepresentation and lack of transparency in the sales process.

If you are considering doing business with XBM, I would strongly recommend:

Carefully reviewing every document in detail
Seeking independent advice before signing
Being extremely cautious of any statements about “no extra cost” or “savings”

This experience has resulted in a complete loss of trust, and I will not be using XBM again.

Outstanding Service

I’ve had XBM as our service provider for almost 6 months now. Printing can often be a hassle, but after getting in touch with Paul, everything changed—we’re absolutely flying now! The support has been outstanding.

If you call Paul, nothing is ever too much trouble. He’s always at the end of the phone, ready to help, and that kind of service is rare these days. What really stands out is how well he stays in touch—something many companies don’t do, but Paul does consistently, and that’s something I truly value.

He’s also provided us with a machine that has fully automated our business processes and made everything much more streamlined.

Thanks again, Paul—highly recommend!

Im as excited as I can be about printing.....

I have had XBM as a service provider for almost 5 years now. Printing is a pain in itself however the initial printer they sold me has lasted this long, any mechanical issues they have rectified within the week and managed to keep the thing functional for me. This has now allowed us to upgrade to a larger system of which Paul has painstakingly gone above and beyond to provide something that will meet the business needs now and still have capability to meet future demand.
A frustrating element of their system was the hybrid invoicing process however Paul has provided a machine that fully automates this process and removes this issue making it much more streamlined.

Excellent service

Excellent service. After a big argument with my current printer, we decided to part company. The Xerox C400 was only a year old, but had an attitude problem from the very start. I believe it has anti-social personality disorder; it refuses to work as part of a team and will not follow the rules everyone else adheres to. Rather than provide us with the printing we need, it prefers to eat paper and cover the office in a dusting of magenta toner.

Nazmeen was able to arrange new, better printer that I am sure will become a valued member of our office team. She was very helpful and instantly suggested the best option for our needs. Within five minutes the deal was done and Xerox C400 has been escorted from the premises, never to return.

100% recommend Nazmeen to anyone with an evil printer they want out of their life for good.

Where do I start!!!

I made an enquiry online out of sheer frustration with my current printer lease, I was then contacted by Nazmeen who listened to all my frustrations and the urgency and came up with a plan of action. I honestly though it was too good to be true but, No! Within 3 days of our first call, the lease and service contract was drawn up, signed and the printer delivered today and it's everything Nazmeen promised. What a wonderful experience from start to finish! What a difference this new printer will make to my business! I can not recommend Nazmeen and XBM enough. Many thanks , April

Avoid this company

Avoid this company. It's run by incompetent staff. First time I had an account set up, they messed it up badly and it took my accounts dept months to sort out. The printer was never right. They use second hand printers. The engineer came out to it countless times before declaring it scrap .
They then get me a new printer but obviously I have to pay more and start a new contract. I don't actually mind if I get a working printer and so agree it.
Turns out the accounts department need training or sacking. I've had countless issues with the new account. They didn't settle the old account with grenke, they can't get the invoices right. It went on and on and on for months.
Now I request a service call urgently as have documents to print out for the court tomorrow for work . 830am they promise me an engineer that afternoon. After lunch he rings and says he I going to come. 2pm I call again to check what time he's coming, to be told at 430pm as he's working in the local area on two jobs before mine.
5pm I call. Lady tells me its been put on for tomorrow. By which point I've completely had enough. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want to waste hours of your life dealing with untrained incompetent staff who are quite literally clueless in every aspect. The company is totally unprofessional and do not provide the working agreement set out. Their accounts department is one of the worst I've ever encountered in any business.

Isabel Martinez at XBM - Highly recommended!

We have been with XBM for a few years & the service wasn't great to start with and we struggled to get a good service initially.
Our current account manager, Isabel Martinez has been great ever since she has taken on our account. Nothing is too much trouble for her, she's been to meet us in person, we have liaised via telephone calls & emails and she frequently checks in to ensure all is running smoothly. Isabel has single handedly changed the image of XBM for us, we are so impressed with the level of service that we now actively refer friends to use XBM! Keep up the good work Isabel
