This was our first time renting a property, and the whole process couldn’t have been made easier or smoother thanks to Jess and Erin at Wright Marshall.

From the moment we spotted the bungalow on Rightmove and made the initial enquiry, everything has been straightforward right through to moving in. Every step was clearly communicated and explained in a way that, as first-time renters, we found easy to follow.

We were given a viewing date and time, and Jess showed us around, explaining how renting through a landlord works — from paying the deposit to contracts and the move-in process. Both Jess and Erin have been there every step of the way. Any questions we had (and there were plenty!) were answered either immediately by phone or the same/next day by email, which has been very reassuring.

The property itself suits our needs perfectly — spacious, clean, and with fantastic farm fields at the rear. We did have a minor issue within the first few days, but after raising it with Jess and Erin, they contacted the landlord straight away and it was resolved within a couple of days. Any challenges or concerns have been dealt with promptly and professionally.

We really can’t speak highly enough of both Jess and Erin for ensuring their tenants are looked after. The service we’ve received has been absolutely faultless. Thank you both for making our first renting experience such a positive one.

Just sold a property using the Nantwich branch. Louise ,Lauren and the team were excellent. From valuation, sale advice, viewing, through to sale, all were professional, smiley and communicated clearly through the process. Would use them again.

We had previously used Wright Marshall in the sale of our previous and purchase of our current home, so had no hesitation in requesting a valuation when selling my mother's house. Louise's enthusiastic approach to the house and appreciation of its potential set her apart from the other agents who came to view. It has been a difficult sale though, thwarted by unforeseen problems with the house and some bad luck, saw 2 buyers having to withdraw. Louise helped to secure a 3rd buyer but it has been a painfully slow and frustrating process. Communication between the agents and solicitors has been poor, hence the four stars and I have had to act as a go-between to keep things moving. The solicitors involved must also take some responsibility for this however. Having said that Louise, Lauren and Hannah have always been great to deal with, responding to my many emails with courtesy and a friendly personable approach. Lauren has been especially supportive over the last few weeks up to completion, when again circumstances out of our control threatened to stall the sale once more.

Second house we've sold with Wright marshall in the past twelve months and the staff(lou, Lauren and hannah dee from hall smith whittingham) have all been fantastic. When their were problems, lou was there, even at weekends and evenings to advise. Wouldn't use anyone else. Thankyou all.

The staff at Wright Marshall Buxton branch can be highly recommended. What is a difficult and stressful time selling my daughter's house, who sadly passed away in March plus the fact that I am an elderly mum not in the best of health. All the staff have been extremely helpful, kind and caring, very supportive. I have been kept fully informed as to the number of viewings and feedback is always given. I am always pleased to be able to speak to the staff personally in the office, they have a lovely friendly manner and are able to reassure me that they have my best interests at all times. We had a frustrating experience with this estate agent throughout our sale. They repeatedly pushed for unrealistic completion dates and applied pressure for us to move quickly, seemingly to suit others in the chain rather than considering our circumstances.
Communication was poor — rather than picking up the phone to discuss important matters, they relied heavily on email, which often led to delays and misunderstandings. It also felt like they were biased towards our buyer, prioritising their needs over ours.
What stood out most was their constant criticism of our solicitors, which came across as unprofessional and unnecessary. Instead of facilitating a smooth process, their approach added stress and tension.
Overall, we were disappointed with the lack of balanced support and constructive communication. We wouldn’t feel confident recommending them based on our experience.

Your Team have been great including your viewing representatives, In what has been a most difficult time with having to lower asking price, to move closer to family in the South. So i am really grateful for all your efforts. Congratulations and just to say thanks for keeping me sane with an amazing sense of humor, keep it up

Louise and her team have recently completed the sale of my home. I didn't particularly want to be involved in the sale and felt perfectly confident leaving the day to day routine of viewings and selling to the team in Nantwich. All points were discussed in detail by Louise to cover the appraisal of our property but with a friendly and light hearted vibe which made it an enjoyable experience.

Knutsford branch!

Lettings management, no replies, four to five months of waiting and still no repair to the fences & gates keeping pets in ! People out , hence no security on property, dangerous as pets have been able to escape on to main road .
