Someone from WPS came to do a gas certificate.
He came in without mask and despite myself wearing one he didn't automatically put one on.
I called to complain and the guy on the phone blamed me for not asking and gave the excuse that because so many people have been vaccinated its okay.
I have lost my grandmother and mother to COVID and have not been vaccinated. I am disgusted that both of these people didn't care.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am sorry you have had a bad experience with the engineer that attended your property recently. WPS take COVID 19 very seriously and comply with all the industry and government requirements to keep everyone safe and help stop the spread of COVID 19. Our engineers normally wear face masks, but some are unable to wear face masks for medical reasons. However, most customer would ask the engineer before allowing entry to the property to wear a face covering if they are currently not. The engineer usually works in a room alone were possible to avoid any contact with people and we would expect home owners/tenants to ensure windows and doors where possible are open and remain in another room to give space as required by the Government guidelines. However, we are constantly reviewing how to improve our service and will take your comments on board for the future.

They did a good boiler installation and carried on good yearly service but scored poorly when called to repair a minor problem.
We have used Ian and his team a number of times over the years. They have just completed a bathroom refit as well as a downstairs toilet. IN short would high recommend. The team on site are professional and a pleasure to deal with. They are respectful of the fact that they are in someones home and get the work done quickly and efficiently with the minimum of fuss. Their work is to a very high standard and price appropriate with full transparency.
