Bad advice bad service and very rude…

Bad advice bad service and very rude management.
We purchased a new bed from World of Beds ( Norwich ) Bury St Edmond’s branch , after being advice by the branch manager to buy a Harrison’s King size split mattress Divan set soft side for the wife and medium side for myself model Amber 6700 , Nearly £1400 and the biggest selling factor was Harrison’s being one of the best manufacturers in the UK that offers a no nonsense 10 year guarantee. This was in December 2016 .
In July 2017 the springs on the soft side collapsed in the centre with no support this was exchanged without fuss on this occasion and was told by World in Beds and Harrison's this is good for yourselves because your 10 year guarantee will start from the date of the replacement.
Late December 2025 we noticed the springs on the soft side again were offering no support in a large area . So on 16th January 2026 I phoned W.O.B Bury St Edmond’s to tell them about the problem. A lady in the shop asked me to send photos of the problem also a copy of the receipt. This I done immediately I received a phone call back from the lady to say she have received the photos ok and because it was a Friday she would forward the pictures to Harrison’s on the Monday, During the next week I received a phone call from W.O.B to ask for another photo of the receipt because they could not see the photo clearly,( although I thought they could in large the photo on their p.c and also I could see everything clearly on my p.c. So I done this again. Then after a few more days I got another phone to say Harrison wanted a photo of the Bar Code and date which can be found on one end of the mattress. For nearly 3 weeks we never heard anything so we happened to be in Bury St Edmond’s on Wednesday 4th February so I decided to call into the shop we’re we spoke to the lady in the shop who to be honest seemed a little confused and nervous to what to say and tried calling her manager who was unable to answer the call. She said they would contact us later once her manager came into the store.
When I got home after about 2 hours I received a phone call from the manager of W.O.B , Well when I answered the phone I was in shock never in my life have I ever received a call from a manager so rude and aggressive. He introduced himself and after a while said I was to talk to nobody else except him and Harrison’s would contact me if and when they had time and not until then and they will make a decision to what they will do . A couple of days later I received a email from W.O.B with a Harrison’s complaint reference number F5440 . Again I had not heard from anyone so on the 12th February I phoned Harrison’s directly myself and spoke to a lady who told me they had not received any information from W.O.B until 29th January so this was 13 days since I first phoned and she was very surprised why the had taken to long to contact me and would contact her advisor to contact me which he did do later in the day and made arrangements to visit my home for inspection on the 18/2/26 .
On Monday 23rd I received a call from W.O.B to say they would offer me £73.73 towards a new mattress,
So basically all this talk to when I purchased the bed. was worthless so my advice would be do not trust WORLD OF BEDS TO WHAT THEY OFFER WHEN SELLING YOU A BED OR RELIE ON THEM FOR AFTER SALES SERVICE. WE WERE NEVER TOLD WHEN BUYING THE BED THAT IT WAS A 5 YEAR GUARANTEE AND 5 YEAR WARRANTY THAT DROPS DOWN IN VALUE EVERY YEAR WE JUST HAD RECEIPTS
MYSELF PERSONALLY I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN AND WILL SEEK ADVICE.
Today I had a phone call from W.O.B saying they required the old mattress and £1409 for one model or £1749 for another model.
