Wordfence saved my community site when my host failed me

I run a free community site for LGBTQ+ seniors that I operate purely out of love for my community. When malware infected my theme files, my hosting provider’s own paid malware scanner missed it completely — leaving me waiting all day with no resolution.

Wordfence is an intuitive and powerful plugin with stellar support. They are continuously updating it and communicating with end users. They have helped me through a hack (It was my fault--not a failed firewall) and the bazillion questions (for weeks) that followed. They have helped me through ensuring my test site is secure. The engineers are thorough, knowledgable, and responsive. I have the Premium version and highly recommend. I cannot recommend Wordfence more highly.

A month prior to opening a support ticket with Wordfence, I had apparently misconfigured 2FA on one of my sites. After opening a ticket, Inreceived highly detailed instruction on the steps I needed to take to unravel the mess I had made and they worked perfectly.

The free version of Wordfence has been our go-to security plugin on client sites for years. When we had a client that required security to be cranked up a bit, it was a no-brainer to upgrade. Wordfence Premium handled everything we needed—and more.

Good To Use The Plugin for My Wordpress Website

We've been using WordFence at NICOclub.com for several years, and the Care level support was immensely helpful a few years ago when we experienced a large-scale attack on the sites and servers. Since we didn't need that level of support going forward, we decided to drop down to the Premium level - except the message didn't make it from our web guy to WordFence. Oops.

My email to Support was handled within an hour. Margaret, Customer Support Engineer, switched our plan and processed the partial refund immediately. No hassles, no sales pitch about the benefits of the larger plan, just straightforward, honest GOOD customer service. We'll be sticking with WordFence for as long as we're online!

EFFECTIVE PROTECTION, GOOD CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I run an Acupuncture clinic and am a Wordfence customer for at least 8 years. Since then I have no more intrusions or disruptions in my website. Have been using Wordfence for all our sites since forever and the service has provided serious piece of mind. The free version is plenty powerful, but if you have an ecommerce or manage sensitive information, the Premium version is well worth the annual subscription. Customer service is human, prompt and professional. Cannot give it a high enough recommendation.

There have been several tmes in the last 10? years that I have called on WordFence because either a website had been hacked or there was a serious flag that went up. EVERYTIME, and almost seemingly immediately, they jumped into action and got my customer's issue(s) resolved. I cannot say enough good things about them and I am very happy to know that they have by back if I need them to.

Very good support - fast, efficient. We needed an app to kill bots before it hit Wordpress - but for their support alone i would give then high marks and recommend.

I had a problem with my scan, and the support agent was really helpful and patient. It took us almost a month (mostly because it was Christmas and New Year's), but the response was always quite fast and helpful!

I never thought it would happen to me but it did. My site was hacked and I had no clue what do. I contacted customer support and Wordfence was right on it. It was a great wake-up call/ learning experience as well. It was like buying a warranty and actually using it!

I have Wordfence Premium running on two commercial sites and the free version on a few other, non-critical sites. Both versions work great but what makes the Premium worth the price is the support and the little additional features that you can tweak for your particular requirements. I've only needed the support a couple of times, but when I have, they are there and 'on-it': Quick, knowledgeable, result focused and polite. All the characteristics you need when you are likely most vulnerable - under attack or threat of attack. If you run a commercial Wordpress site, Wordfence Premium is, in my opinion a must-have plugin.
