Maybe improve my view when receive my product

I was excited to sign up with you and ordered a Dyson hoover on the 19th with £20 off so was pleased with that. It's now the 28th and the hoover as only just become available due to no stock. Was hoping to receive quickly not wait forever. Expected to receive and email to apologise for the long wait and that you were still waiting on stock. Hoping to receive my hoover Monday now as it's in stock and not the the 6th as predicted as my delivery date I will be annoyed to wait another week!!

a bit confused about what's in stock.

I was after buying a ps4 and looking through the consoles they stock I was a bit confused about what they had. They list quite a few bundles but most are with games that are pre orders but it doesn't show the date of release bit does say they're in stock. If I order one I'd want it when I order, not 3 months down the line when the game is released.

Absolutely Hopeless-Buyer Beware

I purchased a Lenova laptop online and confirmed prior to ordering that the item was in stock. Woolworths failed to delivery the item and when I called I was told they did not know why it had not been dispatched. I then spent 3 days chasing them with endless calls and emails to customer service.

Despite sending 7 emails they deny that any were received and only after I tweeted warning people not to buy from them, did I get a call back.

In summary they were unable to confirm where the laptop was or if it would ever be dispatched or received. I have now cancelled and I am waiting for a refund.

Do not be tempted by cheap prices, the service is beyond hopeless and they have a couldn't care less attitude and approach to customers who obviously are just cannon fodder to such a large company.

BUYER BEWARE AVOID AT ALL COST, Pay a little more money and get the service and the goods from a company that want your business.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE!

I bought a Sony Bravia television a year ago on the 12 months interest free - Great I thought! As the 12 months approached, I received a message on my account stating the interest will be added unless I pay the remaining balance of about £180. (I made small payments throughout the year) So that is fine, I pay the £180 before the date, and thought that was it. I login to my account a few days after this date to see I still have £150 to pay. I couldn't understand why, as I paid they amount they requested. I rang, and they passed me around in a complete circle of Woolworths staff, as none of them knew how this happened. I then get told that the payment was a mistake on the system, and I will get it back. I wait 7 days, nothing. I ring again, get passed around another 4-5 people, and then I am told the £150 was charged because I didn't pay off the amount by the date, but I did! - I paid the amount it displayed on my account! They accused me of lying, and that their message which showed on my account did not state the amount I had left to pay. I had no choice but to pay this extra £150, as I had no proof of this message showed on my account, when it appeared (Why would i randomly print screen this, I didn't know all this would occur!), but they wouldn't do anything about it. Disgrace of a company, I will ensure I will never purchase from these ever again and I would recommend others not to!

Then to top it off, literally a week after paying this £150 which I shouldn't of had too. The television breaks. As it was just 1 week out of guarantee, woolworths told me there is nothing they can do, and hung up.

So not only did they take an extra £150 from me for THEIR system mistake, they also did not help me at all when the item broke.

Disgrace.

More than a month later and still no delivery.........

On first glance, signing up for an account seemed a good idea. You have the option of spreading the cost over 3 months at 0%APR and you get 10% off your first purchase. However, all a bit academic if the ordered item never actually arrives. The due delivery date came and went with no update or any communication. I called customer services who were friendly enough but still could not offer any more info. I have now spoken to them 3 times and am no closer to receiving delivery.

I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 because to be fair to the people I have spoken to in their customer services, they were friendly and willing.

Reliable and great product!!

I purchased a laptop, it took longer than it should have for delivery but that was down to the delivery company. Woolworths kept me updated and refunded the money for delivery due to the mishap. They were lovely on the phone and when my item arrived it was packaged great!
Highly recomend!!

Didn't deliver.

Pre-ordered an item that was out of stock, because it said it would be delivered on January 20, and I needed it for a birthday on January 22. Didn't say that it was an EXPECTED delivery date, or an ANTICIPATED delivery date -- said specifically the item would be delivered ON THAT DAY. Kept checking my order every day and even on the morning of the 19th it said it would be delivered the next day. By the afternoon, however, it had suddenly changed to February 24th. More than a month delay! And I only knew this because I was constantly checking the website. They never even notified me by email.

Even worse, when I looked at the item on their website it STILL promised delivery on January 20. So they were still selling this on the basis that it would arrive on January 20, even though they already knew it wouldn't. On the morning of January 20 they were STILL promising delivery on January 20 to people who ordered it, even though that was the same day!

So I ordered from somewhere else. £20 cheaper and the item delivered the next working day -- January 21. Tried to cancel my Woolworths order, but they won't let me because it has "already been processed" -- even though I still haven't received it! Went to the returns section in my account on their website, and it said it was outside the returns period -- even though it was less than 30 days since I placed the order, and it still hasn't actually arrived!

Just checked the order now, and it says it has been cancelled -- again, not that they'd actually told me this. As far as I knew it was still on its way. What a shambles from start to finish!

Musak

Only reason that I haven't given Woolworths five stars is because one has to endure the terrible background "musak" that Woolworths inflicts on its customers. I have been told by Head Office that it is intended to "enhance my shopping experience"(quote). Sorry, it has the opposite effect on me.

Terrible Service. Will never use again

I ordered a present for my sons birthday as I had been let down by another company and was told it would be here by Friday. Friday came and no order so I phoned them up and was told it seems to have gone missing somewhere and they have lost it!!! No telephone call to tell me this I had to ring them. The best bit is they WONT refund me till they find where they have lost it so because they messed up I can't have my money back till it is sorted. Will never use again. Terrible

Terrible Company

( Not even worth a Star! but TP forced me to give a minimum rating)

1st Jan -Ordered a BEKO AMerican Fridge from woolworths and they had delivery scheduled. They then called off delivery for no reason other than it didn't arrive in time for the van. ( 10th Jan)

13th Jan I called Woolworths and the customer representative wouldn't even acknowledge the possibility that the unit had been lost in transit and would not contact there distribution dept or pass me to anyone else. He was adamant that if I waited someone would be in contact or "notice" that it had't been delivered.

15th Jan - Contacted them again and now get told that it can take upto 10 days until Beko will be able to deliver.

Feel let down, Website advised delivery in 3-5 days and lead me to believe that they had stock not that they were sub contracting it to Beko to dispatch via - PC'World's knowhow courier service.

Moral if you want a Fridge Freezer in under 15 - 25 days don't go to good old "woolies"

UPDATE : They phone me on the 13th Feb & arrange a New delivery for 14th FEB. Lorry turned up and had me listed as a deilvery but didn;t have the Fridgefreezer on board he was completely embarced and could only appologize..... . Phoned WOOLWORTHS and closed my ACCOUNT and cancelled order!

Good sideboard poor customer service

I bought a sideboard last year which is nice quality shame about customer service. We put most of it together to realised that the top was scratched and had glue on from some tape as the plastic to protect was broken. I paid on there website anyway choosing the 3 take options. I went twice on there website, before the payment was due, to make sure that the direct debit was showing on there website (as I didn't get any confirmation) which it did. While I was away I receive a letter saying I didn't pay and added £17.90. I soon I got home and saw the letter I called them. I was willing to pay all of it right now, but they were not willing to give me back £17.90 but only £12 (let payment) but not the £5.90 (interest of my late payment!!!). Customer service wasn't willing to give me what I wanted, that's the manager's words.

Incompetent

You sent me the wrong product. Then told me that I couldnt have a refund cause didnt match the product I had bought. So I had to ring to get a refund. I was then told that I would have to re order and that I was still charged postage and packaging. Which I told them I am not paying as you sent me the wrong product. They did then refund the total amount. Not very happy first time I had shopped with you and will be the last.
