Poor quality Chinese made.
I used to buy most of my jumpers here: but it’s now all made in China, and inevitably the quality has plummeted. Thin, skimpy sizes and poor quality.
I will shop elsewhere where quality is maintained.
Awful.
I wondered whether Mike Lester would like to speak with me. I have been trying, without success, to track down a Woolovers order - for my father’s funeral. To repeat: this is for my father to wear at his cremation. Having paid for Next Day delivery on Friday, it’s now Monday and the package has disappeared inside Evri. Two members of Woolovers customer service have now fobbed me off with excuses, and seem more concerned with making this my mistake. All I have been trying to do is find out whether I’m going to get this item of clothing in time for my father’s funeral. This doesn’t seem to be of any interest to Shaz or Ryan at the company, who seem intent on bending the facts. Seems I’m not the only one experiencing such poor customer service. Woolovers used to be a lovely company. Based on the attitude of the likes of Ryan in customer services, they’re clearly no longer to be relied on. Even with the matter of my father’s funeral underlying my requests, they couldn’t seem to care less. Longtime customer - not any more.
NOT UKANYMORE
I used to buy everything from wool over but then they stopped being British everything made in China so the wo is not British and it shows . They are not British must have sold the brand ; it isn’t British the sizes now come with us sizes; before we had to check a chart to order and you touch the wool is not the same ; one of the jumpers I bought I washed it and it shrank ; I wish we would have been told NO UK ANYMORE

I like their garments and find the material as described. Sizing is true but the women's tops hang rather shapelessly. They are all very wide at the bottom edge and I have to tuck them into trousers and skirts otherwise the look is ruined.
Did not send full order.
I ordered two sweaters they only sent one with a note that the other one would be shipped separately. So, I thought it would be. Two months later, no sweater. I asked them to send to me and they would not.
Another brilliant purchase.
The latest 2 items purchased are really lovely, made well and fit perfectly. Very good prices in the sale. A very happy buyer. All items purchased previously have been just as great, nothing has needed to be returned. I fully recommend this company to those wanting a well made woolen item or another Woolovers item such as a dress or catsuit. I will definately return for more!
Quality of clothing is low
Many years ago, I bought a cashmere merino lounge hoody. I loved it—great quality. I wore it out over many years. So I replaced it this past April. The quality seemed cheaper (particularly the zipper) but I stuck with it. I didn’t wear it much until this fall. I have never washed it. I took it on vacation with me over the holidays thinking it would be the perfect layering piece. As I put it on the first day, I looked down and discovered a hole!!! Although it is past the return date, I asked if I could get a replacement. Nope. The quality of f this company is no longer there and I cannot recommend buying from here.

Made in China for f’s sake totally disappointed, your not saving the environment by shipping things to China an back
Buyer beware!!
I’ve bought wool sweaters from Woolovers and was pleased with their quality. But this time I bought 2 sweatshirts and was not happy about the quality at all. The sleeves shrank and the bottom curled up in the front. That’s when I discovered that, to get a refund, I would have to send them to England (from Chicago) which made the whole prospect pointless. I will not buy from them again. Expensive mistake! Very disappointed.
Awful quality and service
It’s been 1 year and 3 months since I sent a complaint about slippers that very quickly showed bald spots and nothing has been done to resolve it. I kept being told that "it is being treated with the utmost importance", but I got no response whatsoever. Woolovers clearly doesn't care about its customers and thinks it’s ok to sell faulty products and not provide any service
A big thank you to the Woolovers team…
A big thank you to the Woolovers team who managed to expedite a rapid delivery just in time for an overseas trip. Delighted with the items involved.
Perfect!
I just received a package from them! I ordered this sweater 10 days ago. I live in Tennessee, USA and I'm so impressed with how quickly it got here, even through a holiday! Now the sweater. I am so in love with this!! I can't wait for my husband to open it for Christmas! It's exactly what he wanted! It's a very soft wool and the color is spectacular!! I highly recommend this company!
AVOID
Placed an order with this company for a full price cashmere sweater as they looked as though it had good credentials. WRONG!
Firstly they use Evri (ex Hermes) and parcel went missing, not the only one looking at other reviews. I had a msg from Evri to say parcel would be arriving by 3.30 pm on a Saturday. Then received a msg from them saying couldn't access property which I knew was a mistruth. Checking the Evri Track and Trace they showed a photo of a country lane - no houses- that's a mile from where I live.
Immediately contacted Woolovers. Oh my goodness their customer service is a misnomer. Apart from one guy who actually read my email I was treated very badly. Tried to get them to send a replacement via Royal Mail as parcel had clearly gone missing. Numerous emails back and forth with no resolution.
I eventually rang Woolovers on the Friday, nearly a week later to try and get things sorted as they clearly didn't have the intention or ability to do so. They agreed after some persuasion (you know the thing, oooh i need to talk to my line manager) to send the sweater out that day 48 hours Royal Mail (they won't spend money on 24 hour service) and assured me I would have the sweater by Monday!
Erm no. Email from them Sunday to say out of stock! I asked them to refund me plus £20 for my time emailing and calling them. Very much doubt I will get the £20.
So company obviously cheapskates. Also some products are made in China despite their branding and back story.
AVOID. Pure Collection are infinitely superior products and customer service. Must have purchased cashmere and other clothing from Pure Collection at least 20 - 30 times over the years and never an issue.
BTW Woolovers have several TrustPilot sites.
Complaint not resolved
Before Xmas I bought 2 Woolover cashmere/merino dressing gowns - one for each of my 2 daughters. Not long after Christmas I noticed that one of the dressing gowns had unravelled in 2 places. I have tried without success to get some resolution to this problem. Woolovers initially were positive and said this product would be replaced. I sent photographs. My last conversation was with Ian Buckeridge who promised replacement direct to
My daughter in Kent. This was weeks ago. So far nothing has transpired and the company is not replying to me. So - think carefully before using Woolovers. Very disappointing.
Very pleased with colors, quality, and delivery time
I don't know why WoolOvers isn't rated more highly. I took a chance on ordering from an unsolicited catalog as they had the zipper cardigans that I've been looking for for several years. I was afraid that they would pill since they are made in China. HowEVer, I've worn the 4 sweaters I ordered practically every day for 2 months of winter and they are still basically unpilled. My husband suggested that although they were made in China, perhaps it was from British wool that made the difference. I then ordered gifts for my family and they are happy with the colors and quality. Although the sweaters were shipped from England, they came in record time, MUCH shorter time than US shipments from California, for example. I was thinking of ordering more, but the styles I like are out of stock.
Please avoid this company
I ordered a few sweaters as a presents for my family and sent it to Russia. Order took forever to dispatch. Total delivery time from the day of order was 5 weeks. I was fine with it as it is better than not getting it delivered at all. After it was delivered my family reached out to me and sent some photos. One of the sweaters was the wrong color. I was upset and reached out to customer service about my experience. Customer service, the agent with name Olga, said that she is really sorry and asked to sent pictures of the sweater that my family got. I sent it. She said that ti make sure that it is a wrong color I will have to send it AT MY OWN EXPENSE back to England. They will look at the sweater and tell if it is the wrong color. The color that I ordered called "Marble"(brown), the color that I got "Ashes"(grey)[pictures attached]. So I asked my family to put smth grey near the sweater and take a picture. My sister put standard nike sweatpants and took a picture. I sent that as a response to Olga and said that unfortunately, I can't send the sweater back: 1.it is expensive to send it at my own expense for them "to look at the color". 2. It was a gift for Christmas.
Olga's response was completely unprofessional and rude: she said that computer monitors (she made some grammar mistakes) are temp to change the color and makes the sweater look grey. She said that I had been sent the Marble color and that I don't see the difference. She also asked very rudely why I sent her a picture of a sweater with grey pants nearby. She said "it is not even a wool". I think it is an absolutely unacceptable customer service that is trying to make you look like a fool. Avoid at any price!
I would also give NO STARS if I could
I would also give NO STARS if I could. If you are ordering from the United States do not expect anything for 1 months or more because I have yet to receive the shipment. My order was backed up in their warehouse in the UK. The customer service lady was rude and could care less and just said ok ok. Do not expect Santa to be on time. Very unfortunate.
Horrible Online Store
This is one of the worst online companies. I have ordered women's' sweaters since 2016. I placed an order and the next day it was cancelled. The customer service representative could not tell me why. I placed the second order directly with a sales representative who assured me that my order would be processed. Again, the next day, my ordered was cancelled. When I called a third time I was informed I had been 'Blacklisted'. I had never heard this term before. According to the customer service representative, I had placed multiple orders, waited for them to be dispatched and then reported the purchases to my credit card company as fraud and had my money refunded. Therefore, I was accused of being a scammer who was just getting free merchandise. I was so insulted. Excusez moi, I am not a scammer! I was informed that I could never order anything from Woolovers Ltd. ever again. Really? Merci beaucoup for making me out to be a criminal. I would not want to order anything from this lousy company who treats regular customers this way. They continued sending me catalogs. I called back and told them to stop doing this. My credit card company was not happy at all with their little games. I had to replace my credit card because of what they were doing. THEY ARE SCAMMERS not me. It was outrageous. It is just as well I cannot order anything else. I would not want their merchandise considering the way I was so badly treated. For all I know, the representatives with their 'British' accents could be operating in a third world country. Do not bother ordering anything from this company.
Buyer beware
Buyer beware! I would give Woolovers no stars. My US order took a month to arrive with no communication and they sent the wrong size. They took no responsibility and argued with me that a US size 11 mens' shoe is a UK 10. Wrong! It is 1.5 inches shorter!
Now I must pay to ship it back to the UK. Horrible customer service and you won't get the size you want due to their inaccurate conversion.
Order arrived and all is well
Order arrived and all is well, but I did have a little misgivings that the order actually went through, usually you get a receipt to print off and the order just closed after I put my CC info in.
However, everything arrived pretty quickly and I LOVE them, a linen blouse that is actually knitted...never have seen one of these before. So cool, literally.
I also very much liked the shipping packaging, paper envelop that I can recycle..no styrofoam or bubble wrap...nice.
