They decided to change my payment date and charge me a late fee for it

I had taken a loan on the 2nd of December 2025, they decided to change my payment schedule to the 5th. I had intended to pay my balance on the 30th, they still charged me a late fee and had debt collection agents call me. When they deducted the money, they didn't collect the charge amount leaving me with an overdue balance. Calling customer service is a nightmare, I waited for 25 minutes for the call to drop. It's not a toll free number mind you, they never respond to emails either. -10/10

I use it

I use and i pay and over the years my limit went up. Its all working as it should. If i pay early i make sure customer care gets the pop. I dont wait for the debit order to go off and complain for a refund. Its a good company. Im in 🇿🇦

Deducting money on my bank account but still claiming to have never received the payment.

I've been getting emails saying my payment is overdue and I need to settle it before they hand me over to a debt collector, but that statement couldn't be further from the truth considering that they deducted their money from my account. I've sent out a number of emails and I never get a response and when I call, the call is dropped I've never even gotten the chance to speak to someone. I'm very upset about this because it is ruining my credit record. Even the statement I downloaded from the site says the same thing that I'm in arrears, so I don't understand how they take money and claim that that didn't.

UNKNOWN LOAN

My name is Kelebogile Sedumedi and I took out a loan with wonga in 2018. I finished paying off the loan with Shapiro Shaik Defries & Associates in February 2022

In 2020 I received a call notifying me that my loan was handed over to VVM and that the balance on my wonga loan is R8277.17 with the Ref:40002531220 for a loan that I received in 2019

My concerns are that:
1. I never requested or received a loan of that amount in 2019
2. I never qualified for that amount by wonga due to how much I was earning
3. How could wonga approve another loan to me knowing of my existing one?

If I could please receive assistance with sorting out this issue

To whom it may concern.

To whom it may concern.

im forwarding this email to wonga and nimble as this is the companies who listed me on credit berue.

my struggle started after succesfully borrowing and repaying more then 4 loans on time through wonga. this is the process of what happened next.

last loan i took from wonga resulted in me having to pay back 7667. medical issues struck my family i lost almost all my possesions in the process trying to assist in the matter including my phone. in this time i missed payments on a lot of my accounts.

now that im selling whatever i can to catch up with my debt. i found clearscore a company that gives me my credit information. i immediatly start by paying of debt by debt. suddenly an extra account appears with the name nimble listing me on credit berue. i immediatly phone nimble and try to find out what my business is with them. after many phonecalls of nimble promising to send me an email regarding the facts i was listed i finally had to threaten the last consultant with the law to find out what is going on with this account i have with them. the one person that did not end the call as soon as i tried to arranged payment ended the call stating the debt is not with them. please note i have evidence of 10 phone calls with nimble consultants begging for information to be sent to me via email where i can pay up this debt they apparently got from there partner wonga. the lady i spoke to last said the debt is not with them. i need to pay some other place.

wonga was phoned by me and emailed.
in this phone call and email i asked them where i can pay my debt to them. they said my debt is not with them its with nimble.

now what i dont understand is i have now had 14 attempts in total which i have evidence for trying to find out who can i pay my debt of with.
basically begging to pay my account and in the last week i have had not one email sent to me with an account and amount where i can pay my debt which i originally got from wonga.

i dont do phone calls anymore because information provided to my differed everytime i phoned nimble.

Now what i want to pay my debt i originally got from wonga. i need someone to email me my statement and account details where i can pay this.

i do not understand no one has my debt but im listed on credit berue by wonga and nimble. listing me as missed payments and adding interest .

how can i have outstanding amounts from wonga and nimble yet no one of these companies can give me a statement and account number via email .

please i beg you if i cant pay my account with you please remove your negative listings on my credit berue.

if i do not have any account in arrears with you remove yourselve from my credit berue . stop putting interest.
and stop listing me.

i need to pay my debt. this is affecting my creditscore. please send me account number where i can pay my debt. and a statement.

or remove yourself from my credit berue .

as i stated i wanted to pay my account in full if you do not contact me via email. i will have to get legal help which will cost me extra money.

i will have to attest to each and every one what has happened to me for using wonga!!! and i will post my evidence of phone calls and emails to the entire world.

please send me a statement and accountnumber if i owe you something.

if not get of my credit berue report.

Great Company / Excellent Staff

I have been dealing with this company for the past 2 years, I have managed to clear court judgements because of the help from this company. I have never had an issue, their customer service is great so is their response turn around time. There was a time where no other lender would lend me money, but Wonga came through successfully every single time.

Useless customer service.

Useless customer service..
I had an loan with wonga.
And had some money trouble due to lockdown.
After trying to make arrangements they handed me over to credit collectors.
Then they credit collectors forced to get money out off me and at the same time wonga collected money as well..

Then i went and paid off the full amount so my account is up to date..
It took them more than an week to update my account status.
They put up an bad review on my credit status and now it still shows on my credit status that i owe them money. But my account is paid up to date..

After i paid my account up to date. Today is the 4th time in the last 3 weeks the are trying to take money from my account via debit order.
And due to insufficient funds i have to pay then charges every time.
I have reported all this.
I have send email.
I have posted on facebook.
I have posted on Hello Peter.
I have send it vai whats app..

Nothing help..
They just dont care.
Useless customer service..
Dont even waste your time with Wonga.
Now i have to waste my time to take further steps as report the to credit bureau coz this is fraud..
And my credit status needs to be updated..

Pathetic company

Wonga you've been pathetic from start to end. First people are told of being paid in January. Then it moves to 4 weeks from the date you recieved your agreed dividend. Guess what we're now in March & still NO PAYMENT! And what a coincidence your phone lines been experiencing "technical difficulty' all day. 3 hours waiting on the phoneline & still not been answered then you have the audacity to put in your automated message "please bear with us". People have already been made to wait TOO LONG for a pitiful payment and you can't even get that right! ****UPDATE****Hundreads of emails later, out of an accepted claim of just over £3000 I recieved my £133.43 TODAY(21/04/20). Shocking amount and an outrageous wait but finally done!
