We spent a fantastic time with Youssef!! He took us around unconventional spots on our gastronomic tour until we could eat anything else!!! All local genuine places walking around the city quietly. Youssef gave us also a lot of explanation about everyday life in Cairo. We will definitely repeat once we will come back to the city.

When I started, there was no idea where it would go from there. Nevertheless, it helped me to become acquainted with various travelers, to share my culture, and to build something that I truly love in life into my job. I appreciate it very much.

The main thing that I value about Withlocals is the trust we receive as hosts. We are not told what to do and how to conduct the tours. This is what makes us unique in our work and attracts guests to it. Each visit to the city becomes unique, like meeting another person rather than doing business.

It can happen little things, such as conversations with guests, sharing interesting stories or dishes, or wandering along the streets of Ho Chi Minh City. These are quite simple situations. However, only through Withlocals they become real.

For this reason, I am really grateful for my work.

The Latin Quarter walking tour we had with Gelsomina was one of the best experiences we had during our weeklong visit to Paris. She was very knowledgeable, had a gentle, easy-going manner, and willingly answered all the questions we had. Further, she was extremely accommodating with regards to some of the special requests we had for seeing certain locations, and easily modified her "standard" tour in a seamless manner in response to those requests. As a result of this tour, we not only had a better understanding of the history of The Latin Quarter, but also insight into how life is now lived in this area of Paris. Truly a delightful and fulfilling experience for our group, with a top notch guide! We could not have been happier with this tour, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND her services as a GREAT value for the money!!

A tour of District 6 and Cape Town City Center with Gilbert. We had a wonderful day with Gilbert, who not only showed us the many facets of his city but also what makes its people special. He told us about the past and present and took us to places we would never have seen without him. Thank you, Gilbert, also for every little refreshment and the treats on this hot day. It was fantastic, and we highly recommend a tour with Gilbert.

Eamon is a real local who really knows the history of Ireland and Dublin. We spent 3 hours with him traveling around Dublin on foot. This detail was heavy on fun and even heavier on historical details. He even reached out to us prior to the tour to find out about our family name so he could give perspective on where our family came from. Also, he knew our schedule outside of his tour, so he knew where we had to be after his tour. This made the tour extremely personal and detailed. I highly suggest booking a tour with Eamon.

Booked a magical night n Amsterdam. Picking Joe. Joe was only available on Sunday. Joe then passed it on to his colleague. Rescheduled for Saturday night. Just arrived in Amsterdam. Trip was for tonight. Just notified it has been cancelled. Would NOT recommend using this company. No explanation. No apology. Very unprofessional.

What a super guide is Aysa. Knew all the answers to my questions before I'd asked them. I enjoyed discussing obscure parts of the Bible with her. Would thoroughly recommend !

We had en excellent tour to the DMZ and Gamaksan Suspension Bridge together with Rossi. It was raining but Rossi made sure to adjust the planning so we did the hiking to the Gamaksan suspension bridge before the rain and then had the bus tour to DMZ while it rained. Rossi is knowledgeable about the Korean War and what made our day together most memorable was all the conversations about about the Korean way of living which included a very nice traditional Korean lunch.
We can warmly recommend Rossi.

We had a wonderful experience exploring the flavors and history of Tangier with our guide, Thami. If you’re looking for a tour that feels more like walking through the city with a knowledgeable friend rather than a rigid itinerary, this is it! Thami is incredibly friendly and spoke excellent English. Because it was a holiday, several of our guide's usual spots were closed, so he suggested a sit-down lunch instead (which would have been an out-of-pocket cost). I totally understand he was likely hard-pressed to find high-quality, open alternatives on a holiday, but we were really keen on the "tasting" experience! Once we asked, he was great about making sure we completed the promised tastings to keep the "food tour" vibe going, since those local bites were exactly what we were excited to discover!

While our guide, Thami, was absolutely fantastic, I found the WithLocals pricing transparency a tad frustrating. The advertised price does not include the platform's booking fee, which only appears at the final checkout stage. I had already shared the initial cost with other participants, so having to go back and ask them for more money once the fees were added was quite awkward. I really dislike these kinds of "hidden" price increases when managing a group budget—it would be much better if the total cost was shown upfront.

Ruby has been absolutely amazing from the start of booking the tour right the end and beyond. Ruby went over and above making sure our Hanõi experience was A**. Ruby was so knowledgeable and passionate about her birth place in stunning Hanõi. The different local street foods were of the scale. As l use a wheelchair, she was extremely attentative that l was safe at times and also asking my husband Simon, if she could help him with carrying our bags. The tour was breathtaking. Ruby got us a fabulous place on Train St right by the track which was awesome. Ruby told about the culture, all the different streets and even going back centuries. Ruby was as if she were family to us and will come back as soon as we can to do more tours. Ruby is, without a doubt, an absolute asset to Withlocals.

Roberto has a deep knowledge of the city and make a very interesting route, all information was transmited in understandable terms. Easy to follow time of events.

Excelent experience my family and I have with Debora as our guide in Split In 4 hours we visited the most important places and she gave us very good explanations in every spot We highly recommend Débora

We visited the Uffizi and Accademia Galleries and booked a private guide through Withlocals. We couldn’t have chosen a better guide—Rosella was superb! She showed us all the important pieces and provided us with a wealth of information during the 5 hours we spent with her. Withlocals ( especially Rossella ) you rock 👏👏👏👏

Our tour with P. was simply amazing! From the very beginning, her warm personality and great sense of humor made the day special. She knows Hong Kong inside out – no surprise, since she was born and raised here.
Pinky speaks perfect English and tells fascinating stories about the city’s culture, daily life, and hidden gems you won’t find in any guidebook. We laughed, ate, and drank together – and enjoyed every minute of it.
The walk through Hong Kong’s narrow alleys, colorful markets, and lively streets was unforgettable. Even though our time together was short, it will stay in our hearts. Thank you so much, dear Pinky, for making this such a wonderful experience!

We had a great day with this guide. He was really great: very friendly, pleasant and very good company. He knows the region perfectly and was able to answer all our questions with great professionalism.

Valentina provided my wife and me a wonderful introduction to Livorno. As a native of the Venezia neighborhood she knew the area intimately. In addition to explaining the evident buildings and monuments, she provided local insights such as pointing out the boats used in the inter-neighborhood annual boat races on the canals, introducing us to the priest at Chiesa di Santa Caterina who married her sister, arranging a deeper exploration of that church and introducing us to her former math tutor from high school and many others we ran across in the city. Our visit to the market was a treat, as was the seafood platter we enjoyed at one of the shops, along with a glass of Tuscan white wine that she brought from another vendor. Overall a wonderful three hours that we would enthusiastically recommend.

My wife is not an experienced cycle rider but Tam was a very considerate and kind guide. He's very personable and knowledgeable. He took us around the Hoi An market and into the surrounding areas. This included visiting the collective allotments where we learned about local herbs, vegetables and spices. Amazing that some of these small allotments have been in the same family for a significantly long time. Half way stop for coconut coffee was a welcome 'pit stop' in the heat. An amazing tour with a very caring and interesting guide created new memories for us. We will return for another guided tour with Tam, in the near future. Hopefully including visiting his mother's restaurant.

Our guide Joao was simply amazing. He picked us up at our hotel, off to the subway we went to get down town and then to get the true feel of the city for the next 3+ hours he provided great insight into the city of Lisbon. Secret entrances, small doorways, and places we would never had found became the norm and we were totally informed and entertained. It was a great learning experience and worth it.

We had an amazing tour of Westminster with Adam. From Parliament to St. James Park to Buckingham Palace, Adam brought London’s history to life with his knowledge of history and his passion for sharing it. As someone who travels a lot and has done many tours throughout the world, this was one of the most informative, interesting and fun tours I’ve done and the rest of my group agreed. Adam’s knowledge of not only history but current London is vast and his roots in London are deep, with his family going back generations. While he is new to Locals Only, Adam is an experienced and incredible tour guide. He is funny, smart and I left knowing so much. I would highly recommend a tour with Adam.
