A joke of a company

A joke of a company. It states next day delivery However it's now Tues and I purchased Last Friday and tracking states received request but not yet the parcel.
What a lying bunch of cowboys.
Never again will I purchase from this company

Seeds

Have used willow park seeda for about 3 years always found delivery excellent especially next day delivery, the seeds are always very good quality never had a problem, also kept updated on delivery time and day . Would highly recommend

I purchased no grow seed ut dise grow Sent photos and received an angry phone call saying it mire be 1 in 40000 that mite grow thats no good to me when I buy no grow they have no blocked me on the website as I want my refund shop on amazon better quality seed avoid these at all cost

Horrible Customer Service and Delivery Service

I have switched to Willow Park Seeds since last year end for Premium Husk Free and Peanuts, but now I do not think I will buy any more from them.

A couple of days ago, I ordered 2 packs of seeds in one order but DPD split it into 2 deliveries done in the same morning. The 20kg pack was dumped to the entrance of the building, instead of the porch of my flat. The courier said he had back pain and his manager told him to get help from the customer. I asked if he could get help from his colleagues working in the area etc, he turned down every suggestion and left.

The customer service of Willow Park Seeds couldn't be less helpful by suggesting I have the responsibility to work out a solution with DPD, I have the obligation to indicate in advance I cannot lift weight, I should expect a 20kg pack is too heavy that it could just be reasonable if it is put in the entrance of the building etc.

I wish Willow Park Seeds to know: 1. Without indicating otherwise, home delivery refers to delivery to the door of the address. 2. Not all customers are of strong built who can manage to carry heavy weight and they do not have obligation to tell you if they can lift weight or not, cos you do not need to know in discharging your contractual obligations. 3. It is not mandatory that customers be home when the delivery arrives. You have the duty to reach out to your delivery company to help sort out logistic issues.
4. When customers buy from you, the trade deal is between the customer and Willow Park Seeds, not a deal involving all the contractors working for you. Any issues arise, you are the contact point for the customers and you have the obligation to work with your contractors to ensure proper delivery.

I'd rather paying higher prices for a company with good customer service which is what makes a company successful and stands out from its competitors.

Great company and great service.

I have been buying the Robin & Songbird Mix 20kg for a very long time now and this companies service is second to none, the product is A1 and the price is very good.
Mark is always at the end of the phone to answer any questions and give a personal service.

i purchased no grow songbird wild bird…

i purchased no grow songbird wild bird food seed from this company through another they supply .the bird seed is growing and not no grow, got in touch with the company who supplied the bird seed they said it was impossible, i put the seed in a pot of clean compost and the seeds grew i have repeated several times with growth every time sent photos to company no reply and sent the same to willow park seeds a month ago they said they would look into my email still waiting i was trying to help by telling them there is a problem with their no grow seed because it grows i have offered to send remaining seed, have sent details trading standards .it was five months ago that i tried to get some answers next social media

No-grow mix GROWS

I bought the no-grow fruit mix and had some problems trying to pay for it. This was resolved with a phone call and the guy I spoke to was very pleasant. My problem is with the product itself - it isn't no-grow.
I have sprouts all over my garden from where I tossed it, in the misguided belief nothing would grow. I'm not slagging the company off, but would not buy its products again. (I'll be picking sprouts from my gravel paths for months :) )

No Grow Fruit Feast

No Grow Fruit Feast.
Great price and all of the large and small birds that visit our garden love it.
Won’t be good in a small-hole feeder, but we’ve had no problems using it in a standard seed feeder.
Plus free next day delivery via DPD - Take that Amazon Prime!

Excellent!
20kg Robin and Songbird mix. I also bought some whole peanuts and the kibbled peanuts. They all look very good quality. All the garden birds are super happy.
Very speedy dispatch and delivery (free!) of my order. First class service and products. Thank you.

Excellent Company

How refreshing to find a company that sells a good quality product for a reasonable price AND has a pleasant customer service advisor to boot.
The birds loved the seed mix and I will be buying more. I can definitely recommend this company.

Very poor product and non existent…

Very poor product and non existent after sales service.

I purchased a bag of their so called fruit feast. It was full of flattened grain in pieces between 10 and 20mm diameter. Far to big for small birds to eat and which they scattered everywhere. In addition there were large lumps of coagulated fruit up to 30mm in diameter.

I complained to Willow Park Seeds and received neither the courtesy of an acknowledgement or a reply.

I definitely would not use this company again.
Here is the Emaiil which I sent them on 20 February together with photographs to illustrate the problem.
For the attention of: The Customer Services Manager.

Dear Sirs,

I recently purchased from you a 20kg bag of Fruit Feast Wild Bird Seed (see order details attached.)

The bag contained excessive amounts a flattened grain in pieces between 10 and 20mm diameter; far too large for small birds to ingest, including some hard flattened pieces of what looked like sweetcorn. In addition there were huge lumps of coagulated raisins of 30mm diameter or more.

The food which you supplied was totally different from that pictured on your website (see picture)

My garden is popular with chaffinches, blue and great tits, sparrows, nuthatches, robins a woodpeckers. In a matter of hours the contents of a large feeder were scattered all over the lawn and the feeder was then abandoned (see pictures). I know have to clear up the mess to prevent vermin.

Clearly the food was not as described and proved to be unfit for purpose.

I am seeking either replacement of the food with one edible to small passerines (i.e. matching your description) or a full refund of my payment.

I have not posted any negative reviews of your company or your product as I wish to afford you the opportunity to respond. It may be that mine was a rogue batch which escaped your quality control inspection or maybe, if it is a product that you are buying in then your supplier has failed to maintain adequate quality standards.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Not once has this customer tried to contact us in the seven weeks since his purchase, Not via email or via our freephone number.

The 30mm of fruit referred to are raisins, which are not only on the ingredients on the website and on the bag, they’re clearly visible on the photos of the product that you would have clearly seen before your purchase. As are the flaked ingredients in the mix, not only are these listed as flakes on the ingredients lists, but, you can clearly see they are flakes in the picture.

The directions for use on the website also clearly state that it’s to be table fed or scattered and not suitable for small port hanging feeders.

As a business we appreciate that not everybody on the planet will love our products as much as the next person, however, we do not appreciate review being left with a false notion that you have contacted us when you clearly have not. We have gone back through all channels, inbox, junk, clutter, web forms and call logs and do not have one instance of you trying to contact us since your purchase date at the back end of January.

Not the best experience for a first time customer

First time customer, I ordered 2 x 20 kg bags of no grow fruit feast, a bag of mealworms and a bag of suet pellets. The order arrived within a few days mainly intact with the exception of the bag of suet pellets. The suet and mealworms arrived in one plastic bag, that had been damaged in transit - a 2 inch tear through both the outside bag and the suet bag with loose pellets in the bottom of the outside bag. I weighed the bag and it was less than the advertised weight.
I contacted Willow Park Seeds, providing photos of the damage.
Received no response until I contacted them again 2 weeks later. Their reply stated 'we are confident that none of the product would have been lost in transit' - which would mean they must be selling products that either contain less product than advertised on the package, or they do not believe that the tiny pellets will get through a 2 inch slit. They did not ask me to confirm the weight of the bag. I would have been happy to be provided with the amount of product lost and would have consdered the matter dealt with. I was offered 5% goodwill off my next order - which I declined. Who would place another order from a company that had given poor customer service to a first time customer?
The no grow bird seed came in see through bags with no labelling. I have asked how they can tell the difference between ordinary and no grow (more expensive) when there were no labels - will be amazed if I get a reply.

Good price

Prices are a bit cheaper than other shops. I was about to place an order until I reached the payment page which I thought it lacked enough security. I checked with my bank and they advised to only enter my bank details where a website connection is fully secured.

Update:
Willow Park Seeds have replied back to my review assuring me that they have the necessary security measures on their website.

Upon rechecking their site I can see the padlock showing now. It seems they have updated their settings to make the site secure. Their reply was implying me lying about my claim which is not a professional healthy practice when you are in business.

Phil, our entire website is served and encrypted by TLS (transport layer security) and under no circumstances would the padlock symbol be missing on any of our webpages, including the checkout page.

I can only assume you have either experienced an issue with your own device that you’re using (faulty device (phone, tablet, pc), outdated browser, software not kept up to date). Or that you have left this review in error for the wrong business.

Website security and data integrity are our top priority and we invest heavily in the latest and most up-to date technologies and systems to ensure our customers data is kept safe and secure at all times.

We have tried to replicate the issue you claim to have apparently experienced on: IOS, android, windows, chrome, edge, Firefox, Firefox developer, safari and opera and we had been unable to replicate your issue of the content lock not showing.

We have also run tests on our website through various well known security checking websites (which you or anyone else are more than welcome to do), with all tests coming back as excellent with zero security issues, zero vulnerabilities and zero flaws.

We invite you to revise your review to a more accurate and factual one, and to bear in mind when leaving reviews for any businesses online in the future that could be classed as malicious and defamatory, to ensure the issue is not a ‘you problem’ first before leaving shoot from the hip unfactual reviews or statements.

Excellent company

Excellent company, placed my 1st order on Saturday, ordered the wrong item in error, rang the tel shown and spoke a very helpful and friendly gentleman who kindly corrected the order for me, he was most helpful, I have now received my order and am very impressed with the seed mix (robin and songbird), I also had the peanuts and can’t believe how fresh they are, I will certainly be placing further orders, price, service, delivery all excellent, I highly recommend, AAAAA.

Excellent. Great delivery service and competitive price. I have purchased the Robin and Songbird mix on several occasions and have never been disappointed. There is little to no waste and best of all no dust.
