I own five pairs of William Painter glasses: the Hughes, the Empire, two pairs of the Oasis, and their blue-light-blocking glasses. I love the quality and craftsmanship of every pair. They're fashionable while being sturdy and I've received compliments on most of them.

I've broken countless prescription glasses and sunglasses in my lifetime, but my William Painters have held up incredibly well. I believe my oldest pair is about 5 years old and is still going strong. I can't say the same for any other glasses that I've ever owned. I've dropped them, accidentally sat on them and they continue to perform without issue which is a testament to their build quality. I don't have to baby them, which I really appreciate.

Even after the price increase, I believe they're well worth the investment. Competitors that charge even more simply don't match the durability or quality.

Recently, I lost a screw from one of my sunglasses. Submitting a lifetime warranty claim was straightforward and I received a brand-new pair within a couple of days. Brittany from customer service was very helpful throughout the process.

I will continue to buy from and support William Painter.

As I opened my bag my sunglasses fell out and of course I stepped on them and broke them. I was super bummed but remembered that I bought them because of the William Painter warranty. I emailed an inquiry and Brittany was extremely fast and helpful in replacing them. Because of the quality, customer service, and overall satisfaction I always recommend William Painter to all my friends and customers. Thank you again Brittany and thank you William Painter!

Responsive, easy process, did exactly what they said they would do

My glasses, which were in the console of my car, were destroyed after by car was stolen and subsequently incinerated by the offenders .Almost 12 months after the event I contacted William Painter and Brittany replaced my destroyed glasses without any hesitation. William Painter really honour their warranty promise. Their service is exemplary and I unconditionally recommend them.

Brittany made all the difference between a shocking horrible experience to a good one by going above and beyond.
The managers and executives of this company needs to qc check their warehouse staff for stealing and reward frontline staff like Brittany for preserving the reputation of the brand.

My Hook glasses I had for 4+years broke, but I was able to get a replacement pair for ~50.00 very quickly. I think that is wonderful. I did not need to provide the original order number or anything, they just asked for a photo of my broken glasses. 10/10 service.

Everything was good up until I had to warranty them. I had my pair coming up on 7 years, multiple perscruptions put into them and worn for hours. Screw had managed to back out an arm somehow and I didn't have any that could fit.

Had got in touch asking if I could just get some screws sent the team offered a full replacement through their warranty instead, which mind you costs $49.99 +Shipping, a little wasteful but okay. The warranty team did not tell me they were a different sizing now which no longer day right on my ears.

No solution was attempted to be offered, I had asked how the hook designs sizing were and that part of the question was ignored. I was simply told that: "The first Sloan design was a mistake they didn't fit behind anyone's ears"

Excellent response when I say the new ones are too big. I had my old ones for almost seven years and I don't see myself getting any more or recommending them to any friends going forward sadly.

Brittany was great at reacting to my needs. The broken Hook was replaced and the 2 new ones for birthday presents were sourced and delivered in a timely professional fashion.

Loved the glasses immensely. When my 2-year old granddaughter managed to pull the arm a little too enthusiastically, even well made frames can’t always hold up. I was very disappointed.

However, The team replaced my glasses without any problem. Very happy one again.

Many businesses sell lifetime warranty but spend a truck load of money on lawyers to make it near impossible for a customer to ever get anything out of it. William Painter I thought would do the same thing, but turns out they do care about their customers. Processing was literally no strings attached. I sent a picture of my lens that had scratched up from something and they processed the warranty on a sunday evening. Not a single attempted haggle to let me down as someone asking for help with those amazing glasses. I will continue to be a customer and tell everyone I know about how awesome WP is!

I had my pair of the blue hooks for 2 years and absolutely love them. The most durable pair of sunglasses I have owned, and therefore the only pair of sunglasses I owned. Not that I am not interested in the multitude of styles offered.

However, I was wearing them while playing football and one of the arms got snagged and overextended and the frame for the left lens broke. Any other pair plastic pair would have been destroyed. I have put these through the ringer for 2 years and the quality was never compromised until this particular event.

When this occurred the lifetime warranty allowed me to get my favorite pair of glasses back without difficulty. The customer service representative Brittany created a great experience in an efficient manner that allowed me to receive a new pair when I was only 5 days away from flying out of state for vacation!

I'll be a lifelong customer and look forward building a collection of william painter sunglasses.

The team at WP may be small, but they are always on top of it. Customer service is always top notch. They get back to you so quick with a response and are always willing to try and help with lost or broken replacements!
Usually a quick and seamless interaction for information, or best next steps. Prices used to be a little cheaper, but the quality is always the highest! Can't buy sunglasses anywhere else!

Had a faulty product arrive, dismayed, emailed customer service. Brittany responded within 2hrs(!) And immediately reshipped another pair of sunnies.

Amazing to encounter such warm and proactive customer service, especially these days. Best interaction with a brand I've ever had by a mile!

William Painter is an exceptional company! The Lifetime guarantee can not be beat. My husband just broke his sunglasses after six years, and they sent me my replacement pair with No hassle! What other company is doing that these days?! I will definitely be a loyal customer:)

I placed an order with William Painter (order #170804) on 04/12/2026 totaling $363, and the item was never delivered. The courier had misdelivered it.
I was eventually able to get that sorted out and get a refund thankfully.

Got myself a new pair of the Hook through their warranty program and am happy as a kid in a ice cream shop. My prescription sun lenses fit perfectly and I am back on track with a smile on my face. Customer service from William Painter is one of the best I ever encountered and high five to reach and every one. Recommending their products wherever possible
