This time I bought some long black leather laces.
Impressed by the leather laces on the field boots I bought some to replace the short-lived round laces on a pair of 8-hole Solovairs. £4.75, ideal length, and arrived within a couple of days of buying.
First time I have had boots from this Company. I am very very pleased with the B5 (world war I) boots. The square toes is great for comfort, virtually no "breaking in required. Am going to get some more of B5's in different colours ordered.
Also got external toes cap "welders boots"these are very good and safe for heavy duty work. Used mink oil to soften the leather initially (this worked very well and very quickly). Also got a pair of 78c work boots, mink oil again to soften up a bit. Great to ware.
