CHINESE SCAMMERS!

Beware these Chinese scammers purporting to be a resepectable English couple selling off their stock after many years. It's a very clever scam indeed, praying on our trust in all that is good about British retailing and then awakening our vulnerabilities, in my case, at an advanced age.
We don't have D--- Turpin any more - but this is today's equivalent!
I'm unable to use the highwayman's name, but you know who I mean!
Ah, the joys of life today!

These people are complete charlatans

These people are complete charlatans. I urge you to not do any business with them. They are dishonest, pretending to have a small shop in London that is closing down, showing pictures of an elderly tailor reluctant to have to give up his lifetime of craftsmanship. They are masquerading as something they are not. I bought a shirt from them, the quality was shody; it was aesthetically displeasing. I returned it, but they have repeatedly refused to refund the money. They are acting unethically.

William Leigh Scam Merchants

I paid id £58 for their heavily advertised Henry Field Jacket, from William Leigh, a seemingly respectable company. Can't believe my stupidity in not checking out the company first.
What I received was a cheap, shoddy, coursely made, ill fitting, cotton shirt which looked nothing like the product advertised on their website. Offered a 5% refund which is laughable.
I see they are still advertising the product at £60 so business must be booming. Beware! Do not buy from these scammers.
Scammed, well and truly.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FAKE FIRM

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FAKE FIRM - Complete rip off, advertising as a retiring. London Tailor, family run, when in fact its a distribution depot in Hong Kong. My goods were of the cheapest quality, not as described, nothing like the picture. Quality is worse than anything you can get from a from a dogy market stall. They offer a refund, but items have to be shipped back to Hong Kong at customers expense or a 5% refund. This is how they get away with calling themselves a legit business. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

This is a scam website

This is a scam website. The clothing is of very poor quality and not as described. Fortunately I used PayPal and managed to get a full refund. Refused to send the items back as they were shipped from China.
Don't buy from these at all.

Don’t buy from these guys

Don’t buy from these guys. I bought 4 items, all in Large as a European Male. None fitted, they are more like smalls, but even then the sizing is not even within the parts of the garments. They are not fit for purpose. Tried to return for refund and had an exchange of 10 emails constantly stalling. They are akin to a scam site.

My order was not what I expected

My order was not what I expected. I purchased two Cotton/Denim shirts and received two cheap polyester items that the store insisted were the same pictured on the site. Do not trust this store!

Stay away from this company

Stay away from this company.
I had a feeling it was a company from china as the photos are very similar to other sites I’ve been to in the past that belonged to china. Materials are of no quality, nothing like the photos. The fit is inaccurate and not nice at all. Colors are off and they require you to pay shipping back to china. No phone number for customer service, just email. I suggest whoever is having problems to just dispute with your bank

FAKE GOODS DO NOT BE SCAMMED

I think this is the same company as Scarlett Jewels - my 90 grandma was scammed again - meant to be a cashmere jogging suit - absolute cheap scam and expects her to ship back to China! Don’t be fooled by the company story or the photos of goods.

It’s rip off garbage

The coat is nothing like as described. It’s a bad fit, made of flimsy materials and only had two small hip pockets. It’s a bit rubbish to be absolutely honest. Most definitely not tailored in the UK as indicated. Now I feel like an idiot for buying this garbage.

Don't buy from them

Ordered 3 items, 2 didn't fit and tried to return them for a refund. Turns out customer has to pay for shipping and the shipping address is in China, not the US. Shipping to China, of course, is really expensive so returning them isn't really an option unless you've spent signficant sums. And even then, I don't think you'd get a refund. The goods are actually "ok" though not as advertised. The company should be avoided. I wish I had checked before I bought. It really appeared legit. Shame on me for not checking. I hope others do.

Buyer beware. You are throwing your money away.

It should be obvious that they items are junk. I ordered a "suit", "watch", and "sunglasses" just to test the premise of "going out of business" and being forced to liquidate.

I mean LOLOLOL. I could go in detail, but the long and short is, "if you have money to throw away, and want a chuckle, then go ahead".

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. I wish I had known that before I ordered anything. They advertise quality goods from a longtime London based company that is going out of business, but the website was created late in 2024 and the images and descriptions are fraudulant compared to what you will actually receive, if you do receive anything. When I complained I was instructed to pay for return shipping of the super cheap goods to China! That is where these items are actually made, and look like it. I am disputing the purchase on my credit card, and am hoping to help others avoid the same costly and annoying scam for themselves. Buyer beware, there are corrupt people out there!

Absolute FRAUDSTERS

They are an absolute scam and I also wish I had seen these reviews before buying. How do we make sure others are not scammed by making it very public not to buy from them. Has anyone successfully got a refund?
