Non EU approved Headlight sold as EU approved
WildBike IT, was not eager to solve this issue. They replied slow and without interest to solve this issue.
Only interest they had is for me to return headlight, if I'm not happy.
I tried to explain, I'm happy, but they are false advertising their item/s, they say EU approved, so I just want EU Approval.
They sold me "aliexpress" headlight, their title says EU approved. EU approval means that manufacturer has met EU requirements on different areas, in short, item has to have EU approval number, and most have EU approval papers or documents in PDF.
On my request for EU approval number, I got answer that headlights do not have it, and that is not needed, that E mark is printed on headlights, it is true that there is little E9 SAE DOT words on the headlight, but nothing else, no manufacturer, no EU approval number and that doesn't make it ROAD LEGAL. THUS it is NOT ROAD LEGAL.
I have little Turning signal that is 50 times smaller than this headlight and it has EU approval number written on it and on top of that I got papers for it.
Wildebike.it, if you check their facebook or google, you will see, there are bad reviews, so save your money, buy elsewhere.
If by any chacne you buy there, ask for certificate before buying if you are outside IT or FR as those countries do not control EU approval numbers!
