One of the eyelets pulled completely out the first time I put them on. Very disappointed since I paid well over $100 for a pair of canvas shoes!! Upon further inspsection, the eyelet next to the faulty one was pulling out as well.

I bought them on the promise of a free return but after hours of being told there was an error on the returns page, I was told to post them back myself and pay. If I'm honest, I suspect it was an A.I. I was talking to, as it was quite happy and polite when it delivered this news. The company has been very helpful, and positive, offering to pay the postage and 20% of any sandals I might like. I think that is an extremely professional service.
