Absolutely useless, buy online from Amazon.
Waited in all day on a number of occasions for an item to be delivered and courier failed to turn up. I cancelled the item and over two weeks later the courier has lot the item and Wickes are refusing to refund me ubtil the courier located and returns the item that I have never received. Bonkers!
What a crap company with appalling…
What a crap company with appalling customer service.
My customer ordered a kitchen well in advance of start dates, only to have a comedy of errors.
Drivers getting told enroute to not deliver when customer waited in because items not even in van, dates never kept too, just a joke.
Excellent customer services given by Ash
Excellent customer services given by Ash, we’re very happy to recommend it to anyone who is looking to improve or, design new kitchen.
Poor customer service
We got our bathroom done by Wickes, and it was a stressful and disappointing experience from start to finish. An engineer gave us a quote, but once work began, unexpected charges kept piling up—eventually costing us £5,000 more than expected. When we contacted Wickes for answers, they had none, and the engineer became unreachable. The walk-in shower we requested was not wheelchair-friendly due to a 10 cm step. Measurements were wrong, work was incomplete, and customer service was unprofessional. A week later, the bathroom started leaking.
Don't risk your sanity.
If you read the reviews you might think 'I could be one of the lucky ones' but what if you are not? I wasn't. My bathroom instalation had to be completely replaced. My kitchen was flooded by the fitter. When they are selling they will say 'use our trusted fitters' when it all goes wrong they will say 'read the small print we aren't responsible for them'. They ruin lives. Just don't take the chance. Find a local trusted fitter and they will source what you need.
Sam from South Shields gives first class service
Sam has been my kitchen designer from the South Shields branch, he’s gone over and above to help bring my vision to life, helping with all aspects of the design with his wealth of knowledge and patience. I did use Howdens for around 10 years but will now firmly make the switch for all my investments moving forward

Kitchen appointment cancelled last…
Kitchen appointment cancelled last minute, told they don't come out weekends. Appalling customer service, interrogated on the phone to see if I'm a serious buyer then offered a Saturday appointment for a week later. This put me off, going to an independent shop now for my kitchen.
Doesn't even warrant 1 star
Doesn't even warrant 1 star. I paid in full for a kitchen early July and thanks to the fitter messing up the laminate worktop, I still don't have a properly finished work top. There are chunks out of my plaster wall. Wickes 'Customer experience ' say they can't do anything about it because the fitter during, I think the second visit said if I didn't sign a completion form he wouldn't get paid ' but don't worry I'll fix it'. What a trusting mug I am, he came back and fixed it to a really shoddy standard. I'm upset to say the very least. I'm appalled at Wickes. I don't know where to turn to get my kitchen up to a reasonable standard. I'm a 75 year old pensioner living alone. They've directed me to the Ombudsman...more stress, sleepless nights and wasted time that I don't have filling in forms for what?? Wickes incompetence and lack of care and empathy knows no bounds.

My new kitchen
We recently had a kitchen planned and installed by Wicks St.Albans. The kitchen designer Anthony Garnett was very professional with a friendly manner. We placed the order on November 7th and we had completion by December 13th which was great for Xmas.
We did had a few problems with 3 appliances not on the original delivery. However Anthony sorted it out very swiftly and this did not affect the installation.
Re. Instalation - your Fitter Liviu Taga was excellent, worked long hours very hard and had an eye for attention to detail.
We are very pleased with our new kitchen and we would recommend Wicks for kitchens
Poor installation and lack of responsibility
I had a kitchen installed by Wickes in September, and the experience has been frustrating and disappointing. The hood was installed in recirculation mode, venting into a closed cupboard, causing severe issues like excessive humidity (over 85% after cooking), heat build-up, and poor air quality, which is particularly concerning as I have a baby.
Despite an existing external vent that could have been used, Wickes chose not to connect the hood to it, leaving me with an unsuitable and dysfunctional setup. Since raising this issue in early November, I have contacted Wickes multiple times, yet I’ve received no concrete response or action to resolve the problem. Their only suggestion was to add carbon filters—a completely inadequate fix that ignores the root issue.
It’s unacceptable that after repeated attempts to escalate, Wickes has failed to take responsibility for their poor installation or offer a proper solution. For the amount I paid, this lack of aftercare is shocking. Future customers should beware if they expect professionalism or accountability from Wickes.

Disappointed
You need to sorted out youre delivery .People leaves it by the building door and they says they are sub contractor they cant bring upstairs. Had to pay money someone so they can bring upstairs. I have disability.
For return you need to pay back money too depends how heavy item.
I cant buy anything from you again.
Not fit for purpose paint brush
Following on from my review yesterday where I purchased a 75mm brush for £13.50 assuming it would be excellent quality but it isn't and the bristles are falling out I have had a reply from Wickes Customer Services by e mail saying I can return to the store if I have my receipt and the receipt is not more than 30 days old and to return the product in its original packaging.
How can I return in original packaging as I have used the brush to know the bristles are falling out!
Under the sale of goods act 1979 sections 12 and 14 as amended 1994 this brush is neither fit for purpose or of merchantable quality, further more under this act I can claim reasonable expenses in connection with thereby if I return to store as they suggest as can't help as not online.
I am not a driver, nor have access to a car and have disability.
Obviously these onanists are not bothered about their customers and will not bothered replying this time.
B & Q and Homebase fair superior customer focused organisations in my opinion.
Ordered a kitchen from wickes
Ordered a kitchen from wickes, the fitting of the kitchen was delayed due to damp being discovered once the old kitchen was removed.
Substantial works were needed to resolve the damp issues thus meaning the fitting of the new wickes kitchen was delayed as additional works were needed to be done to the roof, brickwork and plastering.
I checked the kitchen and built up the units ahead of instalation, however I failed to check all the unit doors, all the unit end panels and all the cornice and plinth.
As it stands £70 of cornice was never delivered, a larder unit end panel at £95 damaged and a larder unit door damaged at £76.
Also we have been sent and charged for two additional wall unit doors at £59 each as the matching doors had a longer delivery time (which wouldn't have made a difference to us).
Total amount £359.
Wickes customer service has sent me one email refusing the missing and damaged items as the kitchen is out of the 30 day returns period and then closed the matter, wishing me to have a nice day.
As a self employed joiner of 20 years who has used wickes many times in the past I will now be using one of their many competitors.
Same kitchen was a very similar price from Howdens but unfortunately I decided on wickes, I will advise any future client to not make any large purchases from wickes as their customer service and returns policy is not suitable for above small DIY projects.
Abysmal service
Paid for a kitchen on 6th October 2024, after speaking with customer services at least 10 times, the local Wickes manager at least 3 times, sending 5 emails to customer relations and having over 20 texts from Wickes delivery company, the issue has still not been sorted and I have not had a refund, they are ignoring my emails by just sending their generic 'we aim to contact you within 2 days' Abysmal service and I really don't know what to do next in order for them to give me my refund.
