Wickes - Catford Reviews 

On 1/9/2026, I spent £128 at Wickes Catford. On 19th Sept, I got a parking ticket. Yes I was in-store for 2+ hours because I was selecting paint and wooden panelling.
If I spend 100s of £s at Wickes, I do not expect to get a £100 parking ticket 2 weeks later. Even if you quash it later, in view of how complicated modern life is, I have got better things to do. Don't blame the Parking Company: agency law: you Wickes are still responsible for this. You appointed the parking company.
This is inexcusable!!! I spend £100s and you give me a £100 parking ticket. This is intolerable!
I would give you a score of -10, not +1/5.

Bunch of scammers, purchase item which I never received then I’m still waiting on my refund 2 weeks later which it’s meant to be 3-5days. Contacted them several times only to be stuck in a loop of we will resend it, there was an issue or we sent to you which I’m still waiting on. Very disappointing service. Don’t buy from here. Refund seems impossible and it’s only for £10.40

Update: said it was done on the 3rd sept 26, however it’s the 14/09/26 and still not received it,baring in mind this was from the 8/8/26 and is still ongoing. Where is my money??!!!

I recently visited **Wickes in Catford**, and I have to say that my experience was far better than I initially expected\.

As a woman, I must admit that when I first walked into the store I felt a little nervous and unsure, particularly when it came to working out measurements, pricing, delivery and making decisions. However, every member of staff I interacted with, as well as those I observed helping other customers, was kind, approachable and professional.

I would especially like to recognise LJ, Rob, Collin and Amari for their outstanding customer service.

They genuinely took the time to work things out with me — from measurements and pricing to delivery arrangements — and never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable for asking questions. LJ, in particular, spent a considerable amount of time with me, patiently working through my indecisiveness and helping me make logical decisions when I was struggling to do so myself. He's patience and understanding really made a difference.

Collin, the manager, was extremely polite and professional and went above and beyond by honouring previous offer which I really appreciated.

Rob also deserves a special mention. He noticed that I had been in the store for quite some time and kindly reminded me to register my vehicle so that I wouldn’t risk receiving a parking fine. That small gesture showed that he was paying attention and genuinely cared about my overall experience, not just making a sale.

And Amari was also kind, helpful and welcoming throughout my visit.

What stood out most was that I never felt judged for needing extra time or support to make my decisions. The staff were patient, respectful and willing to work through everything with me.

Thank you to the team at Wickes Catford for making what could have been a stressful experience feel much easier and more positive. Your customer service was excellent, and I would happily recommend this store to other women who may feel a little unsure or overwhelmed when taking on a project.

I had a lovely experience at Wickes. I was served by Raeesah, the lovely young lady at the till. She was extremely kind, professional and helpful. A huge thanks to this young lady for assisting me with my click and collect order and helping me carry it to my car. I would highly recommend coming here, thank you once again!

Had a really nice experience getting paints this evening, the cashier Tim directed me towards the paint I was looking for, and handled my refund well.

Came into the store today and the young lady on the till Raeesah was extremely helpful and kind, she assisted me with my products and was extremely patient. She is an example of outstanding customer service and had a great attitude. Thank you Raeesah you are a credit to Wickes
