No newspapers

Nearly 9am, Bristol Airport. Was going to buy my newspaper from here. No papers. None. I mean I can get them at 6am in my little home town. This is an airport!

Rip off airport prices

Airport prices an absolute rip off. Yes, operating in an airport will cost a little more than a high street but not enough to justify 4-5x price difference compared to high street. Only one reason their airport prices are so high - monopoly

Was intending to buy 3 bottles of juice, 300ml in Liverpool airport, price was over £14, couldn’t believe that prices had nearly doubled over night. This company is a complete rip off, sold their high street branches so that they can rip off customers who are a ‘captive audience’ in airport where we have little choice and cannot bring anything through security. AVOID WH Smith, cheaper to buy juice on the aircraft. Ridiculous. Shame on you WH Smith.

Shambles

Know I know why WHSmiths is going down the drain. Disorganisation. No-one knowing anything, it is everyone elses job, not mine.
Service is terrible and shocking.

Bue bye WHSmith.... RIP.
You were great a long time ago. Not anymore.

I had to send an DHL parcel from your Beaconsfield branch this morning and I have to let you know how great the staff in that branch are! They gave me so much help and advice and were knowledgeable and very patient. Great customer service! Thank you.

Colonge,Airport - 750cl

RIP OFF = WH Smith

Today at Cologne, Germany Airport.
1x Bottle of sparling water 750ml.
Displayed at €5.10
Nothing special it's water.
At the checkout €5.35... - must be German or WH Smith inflation?

Super expensive, would explain why the shop was empty.

Unless I'm dying of thirst won't ever shop in with WH Smith again.

WHS sells TERRIBLE electronic products

WHS sells TERRIBLE electronic products. I paid £21 for a 3-way phone recharging cable that only lasted 3 months. The two small connectors easily broke. They presumably sell them like that because they KNOW they will break and you will have to buy another. They only offer refunds in the first 30 days! Total con. Also, the first person I talked to was nice and appreciated my situation, but the manager wasn't interested and just brushed me off rudely. No investment in customer care I will never go there again if I can help it.

No longer magnetic Magnetic whiteboard

Low review score as my recent email has been ignored and quality of product.
I purchased a smallish magnetic white board. After a couple of uses the magnetic pen no longer attaches to the board. This cost £12.99, one of the most expensive boards I'd seen for the size but I'd hoped I was purchasing a quality product, not so it would appear. I have emailed yourselves with copy of receipt and photo of pen. I've not received a reply, disappointing customer service.

Wrong information

Wrong information. On looking for some second class stamps I pop into WH Smith in the Gyle Edinburgh at 16.40, only to be told that there were no none and that applied to the whole of the centre.
After trying Morrison's, the assistant told me to try the card shop, and he was right. I got my stamps no thanks to the male assistant in WHSmith.

I Just need a stamp

Just need a stamp! I was about to fly at Heathrow T3 and wanted to post an item. I went to the Departures WH Smith / post office shop at 17.15 the post office counter was closed! I then asked at the till if I could buy a book of stamps and was told NO, but then told I could get them at WH Smith in Arrivals, which was back to the ground floor and a fair walk. I got there and once again was told they have no stamps/ no stamp books! Although there’s a machine over there, but it’s run out! There is no other alternative. Very poor service and if I was coming in from another county, not a good start and would consider Britain a third world country.

No customer / poor / non existent service, no one cared! Letter never posted! How rubbish these people are. Totally disgusted.

The Post Office in the Bath store is…

The Post Office in the Bath store is terrible. Often there is only one person on the counter with many (irate) people queueing. Apparently they can't get people to work there - not surprising given what a dingy dump the store is. It isn't just me that feels this way, Nextdoor is full of people saying they don't even bother going there now.

Online service from the 90s

Ordered a book online which I needed to return. The website says to return to a shop however 2 different stores refused to take it, customer service were useless and couldn't explain where I could take it and then charged me to post it back. Still not refunded even when posted.
