Great place for independent kayaking & canoe hire - I have visited several times with my 'canoeing bestie' and without exception we always love these 'time out' days exploring this pretty stretch of the Thames. The location is excellent - there are quieter areas for beginners to practice/build up confidence & then a much more challenging longer route with stronger currents down to Molesey via Sunbury. Lovely flora & fauna - have seen kingfishers & even a snake. Plenty of cafes & pubs for breaks. The Whitewater team are patient, helpful & good humoured & their shop is a treasure trove for kayakers & canoe enthusiasts with no hard selling. Always look forward to visiting Whitewater when we can - very happy to recommend them.
