After making numerous attempts in contacting DHL e commerce regarding a returned item my attempts came to no avail . However Irene in customer service for the White stores took matters in hand and offered as a 'good will gesture ' a refund even though the parasol base had been lost in transit. I can only commend them for their fairness in this matter.

We purchased a pergola from you and it…
We purchased a pergola from you and it was fitted on monday 3rd August 2026. A little over two weeks from fitting one of the screens came out of it's runner so we a were unable to use ot safely. Having contacted white stores in Milton Keynes I was advised to ring your customer service line. After sending three emails and several photos and videos it was deemed that the pergola was not Plumb ( level) and that is some of the reason for screen coming away. Also some roof slats not closing properly due to electric flex being in the way. I am still waiting ( at least 2 weeks) to be contacted for correction of these faults and refitting. I'm am wholly unsatisfied and disappointed with white stores for not sorting this out and also the lack of communication has been terrible. The cost of pergola was £4500- a lot of money to spend when you cannot use properly

Premature rattan disintegration & quoted £1,793 for replacement parts on a £1,099 set
We purchased the Nova Chelsea Corner Sofa Set alongside matching Nova storage furniture from Whitestores. We have looked after the furniture diligently, keeping everything sheltered under weatherproof covers every single winter.
While our matching Nova storage box (kept in the exact same outdoor spot) remains in perfect condition, the synthetic rattan across the sofa units suffered catastrophic material degradation.
The plastic has become brittle and disintegrates at the slightest touch, creating a severe safety hazard by shedding sharp plastic shards across our lawn and patio where our crawling baby plays. The contrast between the pristine storage box and the crumbling sofa clearly points to an inherent material/UV-stabilisation batch failure.
As a returning customer who also referred family to Whitestores, we contacted customer care hoping for a sensible resolution. Instead, we were met with rigid refusals under an expired warranty. When we inquired about purchasing replacement units, Whitestores quoted £1,793 for a discontinued set that originally cost £1,099 in total. They justified the 163% price hike on "current manufacturing and material inflation," despite confirming the set is obsolete and will never be remade.
When this commercial contradiction was escalated to senior management, they issued a blanket refusal to offer any goodwill discount on these stranded warehouse parts.
If you expect durable materials, sensible aftercare support, or reasonable customer loyalty consideration, look elsewhere.

We visited the White Stores outlet in Cambridge. We didn't expect to find what we wanted but they had such a great selection that we did and, after checking dimensions, purchased a corner lounge set the following day. Delivery was within a couple of weeks. So far we are very happy with the quality and style. Outlet and delivery staff were friendly. Very happy!
