Paid £5.99 for a week of UK TV coverage in France, then worked through the detailed process to try to connect for 2.5 hours. Failed! Then contacted HELP. They sent me a copy of the detailed instructions, which I already had. Failed again, then I asked to be reimbursed. 12 hrs later, nothing! It may happen yet, but I’m not confident.

30/09/2024: Hmm, just had message that my account is cancelled and monies will be reimbursed in 5-10 days. I’m ok with that.

We use a similar service in Lanzarote so we tried Whenaway when we were on holiday in France.
Absolutely splendid. We watched all our normal programs with delight. The streaming services we will catch up with when we get home.
Thank you for the technical assistance in logging on, which for an 86 year old, was essential.

I’ve been using this service for well over ten years and as an infrequent traveler the fact that I can dip in and out is important for me. The service is great value for money and works well. Any time I’ve needed help the team has been terrific and very responsive - real humans as well, not these infernal chatbots and ‘help’ pages. Great work.

Website said it’s simple to connect and is instant.We thought we’d be provided with a VPN which we’d click on and access the UK apps. The process is way too complicated unless you’re really tech savvy, which we’re not. The help given was to purchase a VPN on top of what we’d just paid.Even trying to get a refund is complicated. I’d say AVOID this site.

Really disappointed unfortunately. I paid to access for 7 days and never got the link to the VPN in order to use it. Hopefully this was a one off error but be mindful when selecting this service as i paid for nothing.

Very easy to download, install and use. Extremely user friendly VPN at a really good price.

Whenaway was great! Been on holiday to Rhodes and wanted to watch Wimbledon. Easy to use. No probs at all. Will def purchase this temp cover again. Worth every penny.

Easy to use and set up. Used when i was away in greece. Needed to watch footy! Got 7 day pass. Very pleased

This time it kept buffing

VPN good however let down by poor WiFi connection which resulted in buffering, freezing and loss of connection.

So quick and easy to use. Use them every year I am away with no issues.

I had no problems and this allowed me to watch live sport whilst in Asia. Really handy would use again.
