Been shopping on Whatnot for a while…
Been shopping on Whatnot for a while now. All was well until this past 2/3 weeks when I have found the inconsistency on postage most strange.
With the majority of sellers you pay postage for the first item and then the next two are free. However I queried postage on one parcel and was told it was the weight … so I weighed the parcel when it arrived. It weighed 1 Kg but I paid for 2.3 Kg ! When I queried this they said the seller changed the weight nd refunded me 1.26 ! The original total postage had been 6.24! I deducted the 20% tax and 5% surcharge off the original bill and it still didn’t add up at all. I have no idea how they arrive at these costings at all.
Yesterday I purchased from two different sellers, buying three items from each. The postage was paid for the first item and the remaining two were free…
Tonight I purchased three things from a seller and I paid postage on two of the three things. The first two items were nipple covers and the third was a jumper… the postage was a total of £6.32 !! How heavy can nipple covers be !! I’m totally baffled ….

Even similar items can have different shipping costs depending on the seller’s location. So far my experience has been great with a few bumps in the road here and there with missing items ,lost or damaged products. But other than that im enjoying the community and meeting new people to collaborate with and share common interests and hobbies.
