Absolutely useless I’ve reported multiple incidents and nothing was done about them and they didn’t do there job right didn’t listen to a word I had said

Police called early hours of morning as car broken down on precarious part of country road. Told that they didn't think after looking at the road (presumably on a map) that there was no danger. Later told by AA that police reportedly informed AA that they had been out and spoken to us. LIARS. Is it any wonder the police can't be trusted when they make false comments

Reported to them a vehicle with stick on Yellow Headlight lenses, a made up Number plate with no manufacturer on it and Loud Exhaust.

They came back with you need to tell DLVA to which I did with no reply, so this makes a mockery of the system, the government has stated one in every 10 number plates are not Legal can see why when NOBODY does anything about it.

Very poor service... I contacted them to report sexual harassment (verbal comments) went on for months.

A random police officer calls, and informs me that they will look up the person who I have reported, on their system, and told me if the person I have reported is not on their system, sadly there is nothing they can do.

I then confused, and turned around and said I have his name, surname and the public location has his address. You can contact them, then the officer was like "oh yeah I can"

He then informed me that they will talk to the person who I reported, tell them to stop the harassment, if it continues an arrest will occur.

No update from the police for weeks, still no contact from West Mercia, police officer didn't leave any contact numbers or email, told me he would text me.. to find no text messages from west Mercia, no support given

I don't think the police know what the "victim code" is. As I have the right to be updated, informed...
Don't even know if my case was closed/open

Makes you wonder, how can I have faith or confidence, if there is no communication, no support?

I feel let down as a victim.

Useless police officers.. apparently it's completely normal to get harassed, stalked, anonymous profiles on Facebook can post your personal pictures with false information.. even tho you have all the evidence on who's doing this they will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to protect you.

My experience with West Mercia Police involved clear victim blaming, noticeable gender bias and racial insensitivity. At no point did I feel treated with fairness or respect. The Professional Standards Department also handled my complaint in an unprofessional and non-transparent way, failing to follow proper procedures or provide an appropriate outcome. Very disappointing and deeply concerning.

Reported 2 cases of criminal damage and arson, and the police have not done a thing about it. What they essentially say is that you can get away with doing whatever crime you fancy because nothings going to happen to you. It’s just unbelievable that west mercia police are allowed to run their operation like this. Corrupt, careless organisation and they’ll be getting reported.

They have just informed me that they intend to block me from making any future complaints [even though to do so, would be illegal], because they say I make 'too many'. This, despite them always finding against me, even though I ALWAYS provide proof, of any wrongdoing. Closing of ranks, at its most pathetic.

What happens when you put monthly feymayle bleeders, irrational and emotional in power? you get Britain! with its police, its WHOLE government.

PC Banks came round to do a welfare check and then betrayed me by coming back at 3.a.m with 15 other unbelievably stupid pigs to arrest me, and destroy my grow tent and lights which cost me several hundred pounds.
Fast forward 5 years, yes 5 years and I just been compensated (6k) (thanks)
Thankyou PC banks , you're welcome to arrest me anytime you wish, You're ineptitude and stupidity are very lucrative to guys like me. Oh, and one more thing.....You'll NEVER find her. Lol.

Needed help with breakdown in dangerous position. RAC app absolutely useless so called Police. They were brilliant, got RAC to me in 20 minutes and even called later to check I was ok.

Now I'm pretty sure you don't want that but mark my words I'll soon get them involved and stop you looking and asking into me without my Consent or Knowledge and if someone is talking about me get your selves round to my Address and tell me and I'll make sure whoever it is or whatever department it is that my Adult Social Services, Dr/G.P, Operation Specialist and Senior Pathway Officer soon write to you and them on my Behalf and fill you in with Facts not Gossip and Rumours.

They just don't care about anti social behaviour. I called them to report some 14 year olds swearing and fighting next to our property. They were also trespassing onto a building site and a field which is locked on weekend nights. I had so many insults thrown at me. I was also told to kill myself. Police came out and briefly spoke to the youths. Before they left laughing. 2 female officers came over to ask what was happening. I tried to tell them what happened and that I have evidence, but as soon as I brought up trespassing they kept telling me it's not a police matter. They didn't care about the abuse I had thrown at me or the anti social behaviour. She told me to stay in my house and that was it. I am appalled by the way I was spoken to and everything I had said ignored. Gives me no hope in our police force and yobs are ruling our streets and getting away with disgusting behaviour. This happened in Shrewsbury.

If you have ever been in a community pub where nobody likes you because of your ethnic background, West Mercia informs us that it is your fault, because you cannot make friends. Sell your house and move to another village.

Car has been broken into twice in 12 months on our drive way. Police in Worcester do not care at all.

I had a motoring incident today in Shrewsbury, and I would like to thank the officers who dealt with it, I don't know they're names but they were traffic police, they showed great patience and had good sense of humour, were very polite and they help they gave us were above and beyond so thank you lads, from the caravans in A53

The lack of diligence and effort underscores an unsettling indifference to the very responsibilities the police are sworn to uphold.

This pervasive incompetence is not just an affront to victims of crime but a damning indictment of leadership within the institution. It raises the question of whether those in charge possess the acumen or the will to enact meaningful reform. The public can no longer tolerate a service that prioritizes apathy over action, and we demand a thorough investigation into this widespread ineffectiveness. To restore confidence, senior officers must address this culture of mediocrity with urgency and implement robust measures to ensure accountability, professionalism, and a renewed dedication to public safety.

This stretches way back to \March 2023 and through 2024 - in particular since 29th June 2024 - and continues today.
