Well, it's almost been 12 hours now.We've no electric because of a stupid storm Western power he's disgusting. I will be taken action against you guys. I will be seeking legal advice on Monday. First thing believe me, I am furious with you. You think it's okay to leave 2 pensioners in a cold bungalow? Because.
You can't be bothered to get off your lazy a**** and come and give them a generator they are on a priority list and edf energy will be getting a bullion tomorrow as well.They will not be getting away with either.I have felt up to the back team crap companies.

The second outage in two weeks, a pavement that is bloody hazardous to the public and workers who disolve as soon as it rains not securing work area's then a power outage.
With costs rising yet again for these services it's a total joke.
Less than two months of Labour leadership and I'm back in the seventies with the mentality of a of the British work force of that time, what's next a three day week.
SERVICE PROVIDER USELESS
The staff are nice but the service is useless! 3 rd power cut over 2 days...crazy.

My power went out on a first floor flat at around 12 30 pm due to building work going on below. Western power staff on site were very informative and courteous, even though I had to leave the property to carry out my daily tasks. Power was restored at 6,45pm. Excellent workmanship.

TWO eight hour power outages in 7 weeks…
TWO eight hour power outages in 7 weeks - THIS is the measure of how poorly organised, and under skilled these people are... got allprepared for the first of these 8 hour power cuts on 18Sep23 and they DIDN'T cut the power.
This second outage is a perfect demonstration of their ineptitude. At least I shall have the Lols reading their whining, defensive reply about how "its not their fault". I pay good £££ for power, now get it sorted....
How can pensioned be treated this way…
I am posting for my neighbour who is 74, vulnerable and lives alone. His electricity went off on Thursday night. Within 3 hours they delivered a generator which runs out of petrol every 12 hours, surges causing most appliances to trip off. UU came and dug a hole on the Friday morning and nothing since except fill the generator when it has been off line for about 3 hours. Every time he rings all he gets is 'we are short staffed'. They promised to come and repair the fault yesterday...nothing except for a generator top up. A better generator was promised...nothing. As neighbours we help but when are UU going to put him back on line. it is now 5 days including the weekend he's been in this situation. He is limited to making drinks and relies on us to provide hot food. Disgusting to treat a vulnerable pensioner this way. You should be ashamed.

Many thanks to the western power team that came to the rescue when my cat decided to climb to the top of the electricity pole. I didn’t get the guys names but one of them had a dog called Sid. I think they were diverted from the Nottingham and leicester area. Very quick and professional response. Thank you again. 🙂
Brilliant. I can’t thank you enough
Western Power provide customer service second to none in my experience. They answer the phone speedily, politely and helpfully, putting you through to the correct person to deal with your enquiry. No waiting in queues, no electric voices giving you options - I could hardly believe it!
They are honest and apologetic about their workload and the resultant long waits for work to be done, but try their absolute best to help when there is a real problem. Upon hearing that the normal wait time would delay the next stage in my renovation until next spring due to weather and that this would mean a winter in my tourer caravan (covering my 70th birthday!), they pulled out all the stops and gave me a couple of cancelled appointments enabling the existing supply and pole to be moved last week and a temporary builders’ supply put in. The job was carried out amazingly efficiently and exactly as planned by a very friendly team in very muddy conditions. Thank you very much to Ian Shadrick and team - you are all an example of how a Company should perform. I now have hope that I might be in my house before the worst of winter after all.

Absolutely fantastic service last night. We had a very difficult to diagnose problem but the engineers persisted and didn’t leave until 3.30 in the morning.
Today the lights kept going on and off…
Today the lights kept going on and off and there were sparks and smoke coming from the pole in my garden which is right next to a tree! The guys who came out (2 to begin with and then a third with some cable) fixed the problem despite the fact the cable had to go across a main, busy road. They were exceptional and it is now all fixed. Thanks Western Power for a fast and excellent response!

Bunch of Liars, arrogant and Incompetents. I would like to say something far ruder! Dug the bottom of our garden up with no notice, got home to see that they’d blocked off our driveway, boss, John Irvine was an arrogant pig. They said they would make good, all they’ve done is put a load of dirt and rubble on top, no turf replacement. Also dug up other various places nearby, having great difficulty in finding the trouble source, so much for the techno age! Sadly gone are the days when reputable companies used to let people know of any inconvenience, said it was an Emergency, that was another outright lie.
Hope they go into Administration! though after reading other reports have discovered that they a big American company. Have just got back from a short break, and my husband has discovered that their ‘resurfacing’ included rubbish such as empty cans. BOC’s the lot of em!

Western Power were absolutely brilliant. My main fuse had blown and a technician was at the property within 45 minutes! Incredible customer service from start to finish.
Paying EXORBITANT FEE'S FOR RUBBISH SEVICE
WHY WHY WHY do we just get a text to say .. ' Your power is off' . You fly around in £million pound helicopters . Don't upgrade equipment . Have lived in 3rd world counties with better supply .
