WW is not a reputable company. Sign up to monthly meetings. Since 1st session 3 weeks ago meeting leader has failed to turn up. Decided to cancel my membership. WW has advised I cannot have a refund only a extention. WW is a scam!

I joined weight watchers as I had been doing slimming world for a year and a half and although succesful on that plan decided I needed a change. Well, I lasted 5 days on their plan with 1 lb weight loss and felt completely confused and unsupported. I went to the meeting and stepped on the scale, like a knee jerk reaction the lady just said "Not to worry - this is why you are here". I am not even that heavy for one, and I had already lost 3 stone with slimming world... If she would have bothered to ask a few questions she would have realised that someone whose lost that much weight, doesnt need to be made to feel as if she has a HUGE battle ahead. The "group" was a complete joke, the "leader" was just talking complete rubbish and being constantly interupted by a lady who just wanted to talk about herself. So we had an hour of hearing someone's life story and no talk of the plan or recipes. She didnt talk me through the basics she handed me a folder and sent me on my way. After a week I was back at slimming world - which is a milliion times better than this plan. WW then decided even though I had paid for 3 months, used 5 days worth and been inactive for 2 and a half months to take the monthly subsciption pass fee from my account. My mistake for not cancelling however after sending an email the day the monies were taken I was told that I was not receiving a refund. Complete load of rubbish - this company is a joke and I will never recommend anyone uses them in the future.

I joined just over a couple of months ago.
I went to one meeting and decided it wasn't right.
So I cancelled my monthly subscription.
But I am still being charged every month - I'm furious!
They make it so difficult to end membership, almost impossible. But still keep taking your money.
I've sent a complaint email twice. I get an automated reply about how they'll reply in 24 hours.
They haven't replied to either.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, HOW DO I CANCEL MEMBERSHIP ONCE & FOR ALL?

This company took money off my card after 6 months without any notice or authorisation from me when I am entitled to a further 6 months with no charge BUT due to their continuous failure to update my attendance they prefer to bill me!!!

I have emailed area manager and their UK head office with no reply.

For such a large organisation the service is non existent - shoddy, inefficient and unprofessional!

No wonder there have no contact number in the UK !

Appalling....... What has happened to this once fantastic company! poor service! poor product! only interested in getting money from its customers with nothing in return. I have been a lifetime member for many years and been loyal but now will be giving my money to Slimming World as they give more and request less! WAKE up WEIGHT WATCHERS!

I signed up to the online programme safe in the idea that if I didn't like I could get a refund as it states in their terms and conditions and on their adverts. I did everything they said I had to do but I did not like the software, so after the 2 weeks they said I had to wait, I asked for my refund. They said I couldn't have a refund because I had already been billed (surely that's the point of a refund?). They also have my credit card details and I have read about other people who have been charged after they had cancelled their subscription so I'm worried I'll be charged even more now.
