Had an alarm fitted - and the company supplied a previously used battery. The alarm went off because the battery failed - the company could not send someone to deal with this for a week. As the alarm was going off we had to call someone else in to turn it off who charged a £55 call out fee and the charge for a new battery. He told us the battery the alarm came with was second hand. When Webb did turn up they charged another £90 call out fee for a 5 minute reset ... they had not warned us about the call out fee in advance. I have dated receipts for both services. Service man very rude and arrogant ... he admitted the battery was second hand. When I complained to Webb they sent a defensive reply and they also sent a facebook message claiming I "physically removed" their 30ish year old male employee from my property. I am a 50 year old woman. How exactly did I do that? They are absolute liars - do yourself a favour & choose another supplier who won't sell you a duff battery with your security system, will turn up quickly when it fails and won't rip you off and with an additional call out charge. These are the people that give house alarms a bad name!
