Excellent service from Andy and Logan

Excellent service from Andy and Logan. They removed the old boiler and hot water tank and replaced with a combi-boiler. Extra piping was required which included piping in the loft. They worked the equivalent of two whole days and hardly stopped. First class service.

Excellent work throughout …

Their quote was detailed and the price very good.
They were pragmatic to cater for the needs of the customer. Their assessment of the time required to accomplish the work was spot on. Andy, Morgan and Euan did a great job in hot conditions to provide a heating supply that really works so much better than our previous one. Thank you to Peter as well, and the secretaries.

Quick and helpful

Contacted office in morning with a problem kitchen tap, Ewan arrived within 15 mins found the problem and went back to shop to collect a new unit and fitted quickly and efficiently, cleaning up afterwards and removing all waste and packaging. Very pleasant and friendly,would highly recommend to anyone.

First class service from beginning to…

First class service from beginning to end when fitting our new shower. Very efficient, going above & beyond, even taking away all the rubbish from the old shower to all the packaging from the new one! Would highly recommend Team Peter Watson Plumbing & Heating. 5 star plus service!

Great service.

Robbie, our engineer, was on time, polite, and efficient. He found the issue straight away, and came back that afternoon with the new part. He cleaned up after finishing the work, and coped well with our 2 nosy whippets!

Will continue to recommend this…

Will continue to recommend this business to anyone requiring good service at honest prices. Got my blr. serviced this morning, the engineer was very friendly and on time. He got on with the job, stripping down and putting together again my boiler, cleaned up any mess he made, which was very little. You would never know he had been.
A very satisfied customer.

5 Star Service

Peter was very professional and thorough on his visit to provide an estimate and he fully explained the proposed work & time schedule to replace our 20 year old oil boiler.
The installation by Ian and his 2 apprentices was 1st Class, faultless and completed on time without any issues.
Ian fully explained the operation of the new boiler after the installation was completed.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Watson Plumbing & Heating.
Thank you Peter, Ian, the young lads and Bruna in the office for a 5 Star Service.

Replacement oil boiler fitted.

After receiving a favourable quote from Peter the new boiler was fitted on the agreed date. Andy and his apprentice arrived and removed and fitted the new boiler, the new pipework for the boiler was fitted neat and tidy. After commissioning the boiler and checking for leaks etc Andy explained the operation of the boiler and room thermostat, before leaving everything was cleared and tidied up. A professional job from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Oil Boiler Magician

25 year old oil boiler causing problems. Another oil engineer had tried, but failed, to fix it - and had just given up. However, John has totally exceeded my expectations: a friendly Yorkshireman, amazingly knowledgeable and competent, and, most importantly, willing to persevere until the boiler was running perfectly. I am seriously impressed. And the office staff are always pleasant and helpful.

EVERYTHING FACTUAL !

Please any tradesman involved with Peter Watsons Plumbing and heating stay away. Your last visit on the 05/03/24 which your workmen arrived without announcement never spoke so I let them get on with it, they never asked for any signature I only knew they had left because I heard the van driving away. As it was they left the boiler with an oil leak which I have had to get another heating engineer to come out to fix Watsons errors. OFTEC and Consumer advice are aware of these latest issues and have been sent photographs and copies of text messages between myself and new heating engineer. After five months the floor underneath the boiler has started to dry out. The complaint is very much still active ! at no point were we rude to anyone , your employee’s were offered tea and biscuits and treated with utmost respect. You will not be returning because i have told you not to, all further remedial issue’s will be resolved by new heating company and we will take steps for reimbursement
CASE IS NOT CLOSED !! Copies of all Trust Pilot messages have been sent OFTEC and Consumer Advice.

All trades people that may read this review, do yourself a favour and stay clear of this customer. Honestly, not worth getting involved with.
We installed this appliance to manufacturers instructions. Worcester have been out due to complaint and have confirmed this. Oftec have been involved due to the complaint they have made, again this has been cleared.
The carbon monoxide alarm going off is obviously a serious issue, they called at around 4.30am, when we picked the calls up before 8am, we made contact and were on site before 9am, the flue was not wrong, the flue restrictor had been somehow blown back through to secondary exchanger, throwing readings off causing the boiler to soot, also due to the wind on that particular side of the house the POCs were swirling and being drawn back in, we returned that day and fitted a plumb management kit free of charge. We also attended a few days later for a full de-soot and re commission free of charge, and we found a faulty photcell.
Picked up by Worcester on a warranty call that we phoned in due to the faulty photocell, we had to return to fit a screw in the plumb management kit top elbow (which we left out to allow to turn due to wind pattern), tighten the earth cable that was loose, turn the orientation of the oil isolation valve in the boiler as it was catching the casing and replace a leaking condensate elbow.
On the last day of the install the customer kicked off due to their oil pipe, iso valve, oil filter and fire valve being above ground externally, before going through the wall to the boiler, so we supplied a stainless steel cover, again free of charge. Prior to Christmas they called and demanded we attend as the heating had went off, with no fault code, we asked all the obvious questions about the thermostat etc, we shuffled things about to accomodate this but before we could attend the customer called and had turned the thermostat up slightly and it came back on.
They have a bee in their bonnet after accepting a no obligation price we gave them, but we some how owed them the earth. We had issues with them the first day of the job due to the boiler turning up damaged and we had to replace, which we sourced the same day, then they wondered why we did not complete in one day, we should have walked away then.
The customer is rude, argumentative and petty. After all of the complaints they made, after our engineer spent the 30mins on the remedials, they wouldnt come out the house to sign the job off.
One factual statement they have made is, I did refuse to go back initially, then to close the complaint from Oftec down we had to produce photos. We wont be returning and I would advise others to do the same.

Go Elsewhere

Do yourself a favour and steer well clear of this operation, boiler left with oil leaks , and condensate leaks , no resolution, fitted wrong flue which lead to dog barking in middle of the night at Carbon Monoxide alarm going off, which Peter Watson took very lightly ! until we got consumer services and oftec involved , up until then Watsons told us to get a different company to resolve their errors,
Five months on after installation still having problem’s !
Give a wide berth !

Not recommend this company

Not recommend this company. Doesn't know how to connect washing machine, flooded my new kitchen. Charged me fortune,milage to come to my house. Can find cheaper and more qualified plumbers

Dad's boiler.

Watson were the only firm to reply to my texts when my dad's boiler broke down. They were professional from start to finish, clean, tidy workers, no hiccups or hassles. I would recommend them to everyone.

Underfloor heating overhaul

Very impressed with my dealings with Watsons at every stage from the initial enquiry to the diagnostic visit to review and service my Underfloor heating. Once the problem was identified and parts ordered Watsons came out very quickly to get my heating back up and running. Darren the engineer was very professional and knowledgeable and I am really glad I chose Watsons and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Professional and genuine

Completed a full new oil central heating system for us.
From first point of contact Peter was on time professional and provided a very competitive quotation.
The whole job was completed and time with no hassle.
Had a small issue with the thermostat after install and Peter was out in less than 24hours and sorted it.
Highly recommended. Its an A++
