I bought the W2B200 from Amazon and had it installed by a fully certified plumber, but unfortunately the unit has never worked. The installation and set up was double checked by the installer, to no avail.
I phoned the customer service helpline, and they were extremely helpful in taking me through a few items to check. It still did not work so they booked me in for one of their engineers to visit.
Sadly, the engineer did not turn up and no explanation was given. I again spoke to customer services and was given an apology. I was then told that the engineer would contact me directly. This never happened. Back to customer services, who again said they would book an engineer visit. I was then given a choice of 2 dates for an engineer visit and I confirmed that either date would suit me, so asked them to confirm the date and time. This never happened and the dates passed without a call or visit.
I have tried phoning and requesting a phone back on so many occasions that I have lost count. I have also tried responding by email and online chat but am yet to get a response.
I am now in a situation where I will have to purchase a new water softener or risk paying for another plumber to check the unit.
Do not risk ordering from this company.

Bought from Amazon and fitted by a local plumber - very straight forward. Once I had the hardness settings correctly adjusted the unit has produced softened water on demand (around 2 weeks now). Purchased some hoses direct from W2B and they arrived promptly.

Prompt delivery but company's internal communication needs to improve

Appallingly bad customer service.
You have to chase them constantly and they promise certain things which don’t materialise. Communicating with them is so frustrating and you generally get nameless replies. I wouldn’t recommend at all.

Excellent value for money. After some initial difficulties the softener seems to do its job well; reduces the amount of limestone present in the water. I recommend monitoring the water to measure the French degrees and setting the softener accordingly.

I have been using their product since over 2 years now. The water softener was installed very quickly. All their deliveries of salt have been arrived very quickly too. Great customer service and one happy customer

Purchasing from Water2buy has been the worst shopping experience ever. We ordered the Installation Package (installation + water softener) at the end of October. Despite the website states "same day dispatch. Delivery within 3-4 working days", the delivery was severely delayed. When we finally got the product, it took us 50+ phone calls and emails to arrange for the installer to come.

During this whole time, we were given nothing but empty promises. When I was finally able to reach the installer on 8th of December, we learned that the company hasn't been paying the installers for months, which is why they have stopped coming for installations altogether.

Then, we were told that the water softener couldn't be installed in our flat. We requested a return on 1st of December as their website clearly states that by purchasing the Installation Package, a full refund is warranted if installation cannot be completed. However, to our disappointment again, after countless emails and phone calls, we received no response from Customer Service.

This whole process has been incredibly stressful for the last few months. There were problems at every step of the purchase (from delivery to installation to return), but the Customer Service people did nothing to help except for delivering false reassurances. It was basically THROWING £702.60 DOWN THE DRAIN - no household can afford to do that during a difficult time like this.

My best advice is to stay away from this company. From our experience with the Customer Service and what we learned from the installers, there seems to be problems with the company's management and the financial status. We learned our lesson the hard way, and hope by sharing our experience, can help you avoid making the same mistake.

I have called 4 times to get my water softener serviced and fixed. The engineer never ever returns a call.

I now need to buy a new one.

Do not buy these please. It may seem cheap but it’s a false economy n the end.

Initially had a couple of technical challenges but Steve called and was really helpful.

The mere fact that I got to speak to a real person was a bonus.

Bought a unit with Pro-Install
Unit arrived quickly, after a month I contacted them for an install date, I have had 3 install dates given, nobody turns up, and nobody contacts me.
Can’t comment on the unit, but for service I would give this company
0 out of 10,

This company should be shut down - full of liars!! Ordered a softner system with professional install - the couldn’t get a fitter so they offered me a partial refund if I would find my own plumber - which I did and still no sign of my refund!!! Despite numerous calls and emails. These people are liars!!

They have always been very reliable and send orders quickly....and its not because we are all Irish ;-) 5+

This company is a scam - DO NOT ORDER DIRECTLY FROM THEM. We placed an order which has been sat with Evri (their courier of choice which is not a good sign). It has been stuck with Evri for a month and Water2buy will not respond to any emails / calls. Stephen (so called head of customer) is a fake person / team.

This is a scum company, I ordered but never have the installation services, every time just tell me they will come but no show for 2 times already
I want to return and refund but no show and no one answer the call, saying will be refund but never process!! Don’t trust them, with no service after you paid

I purchased a water softner from this company about 8 years ago and got very good service during its lifetime. I believe in providing some loyalty to companies that give good customer service so I purchased a replacement unit during August. What a mistake, this company is now the worst company I have ever dealt with. The softner didn't work from day one and now after many, many emails and promises I still do not have soft water. The most recent communication was from Steven who said a new unit would be shipped over a week ago and I would get a tracking number the next day. Guess what, no tracking number and unable to make contact. This is dreadful company now so please avoid if you value your sanity. The unit is legally under warranty and I will update this post accordingly.

Brilliant service from these folks, on top of which they are super friendly as well. Happy to recommend.

Ordered a wb200 unit and paid for pro installation on 24th aug. parts took few weeks to arrive. It is now 1st nov and despite many calls and emails they have still not arranged my installation. I call every few days and get the same excuses over and over. They have taken money and are not supplying the service. Best to avoid them.

Update: (12-11-2022) on weds i rang again and this time was finally given an install day of coming saturday. The installer called me to confirm saturday 0830-0900. Come saturday no show from the installer guy and not responding to my messages. Again awful service.
