This is my last ever VW. I have a VW T6 shuttle 2019 T6, 30k on the clock. MOT and 3rd service picked up on a crank shaft seal weep and slight water pump leak, my garage of choice a registered VW... See more

Shocking disgraceful VW Milton Keynes HQ
My god VW uk HQ , Customer services in Milton Keynes uk , OMG just horrendous!
It’s probably futile writing this after seeing all the other complaints ; as they really do not care a jot .They play phone tag , computer generated emails ,
Never call back when they say they will
VW uk you ought to be ashamed of yourselves ! Avoid plug in Tiguan's 2025
Software issues that they certainly do not fix speedily or haven’t a clue how to fix . Major issues that’s kept very hush hush . Volkswagen uk you’re an absolute disgrace !!
you treat your paying customers like absolute muppets , you don’t care one iota!!!😡😡😡😡😡
VW cars are nothing but trouble
RE: VW MARSHALL, Barnstaple
Shocking, liars who have no accountability for their failures.
The manager Ross,
Has outright LIED by saying I refused to return a loan vehicle and demanded it be collected. (A moronic statement when you realise that I would need to drive the loan vehicle back in order to collect my car!) This accusation is an entire FABRICATION. This is in response to an official complaint I made due to the shocking service as a way to exonerate themselves of any responsibility. Make sure you always get a photo to show you have returned any loan vehicle in case they try to use this on you. I have had nothing but issues here.
My I.D 4
My I.D 4, was only 3 months old when it suddenly stopped working, this was due to battery issues. However these things happen and its how VW have dealt with the issue not the car itself that is dissapointing.
Repeatedly they have failed to give updates, asking us to chase them and to liase between VW and the dealership, including being asked to negotiate with the dealership so that they pay the insurance for a courtesy car not VW Corporate. Also being told that they couldn't give me all the details due to privacy!! ITS MY CAR.
The customer service team refused to let me speak, when I said politely can I please make my point, after letting them speak they said "No because your view is pointless".
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Executive complaint
My 2022 Volkswagen TAOS has been in the shop since late February 2025 and not returned to me due to two essential parts are not in stock. Both myself and the repair shop I am dealing with have contacted Volkswagen Manufacturer several times each, please tell me how not one employee has an explanation to how they have not stocked my parts within six months?! No waiting list, no time line! I asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied. At this point I regret purchasing a Volkswagen. I’m in good standing payment with my vehicle and not able to drive it. I was not provided a lender car or any extra support to get my parts, it’s been a nightmare trying to get my car back and trying to handle my day to day tasks relying on others to help me.
pickup with over 4k sitting waiting over 2 months on backorder parts
had been a customer of vw for some 30 years and as a commercial customer pleased with local garage over the years in regards service Ect
unfortunately decided to change my 4/5 yr vw Amorok to the new vw Amorok and is currently sitting in garage over two months awaiting parts which are in back order and nobody can say when they will be in stock
as I bought this vehicle for my business to tow with due to towing capacity I was given a van by my local dealer but they state can't get insurance for a 4x4 loan vehicle and I have stated the loan van was of no use to me as required something with 4X4 and capacity but to no avail an they stated to contact customer services
when I did this something similar to some of other comments I was asked what I had done to see if parts available in other VW Dealers and asked for part nos for the back ordered parts and I explained how would I know this and had vw customers now to start doing VW S, Work after paying a substantial amount for the new vehicle and "customer advisor asks what did I want them to do
I asked if the contact was UK VW CUSTOMER SERVICE based in England and was informed yes but when raised complaint a manager contacted me to state that I should not have been treated like this an when I pushed again on where VW GB was based I was informed I was talking to South Africa where VW UK WAS BASED
I stated that this was not correct to show in booklet that came with vehicle which stated based in Milton Keanes uk (which was normally contact centre )
I am currently hiring a 4X4 vehicle from a vehicle dealer on top of paying for my pickup sitting in garage.
my local dealer has always been very helpful but they state that this is now taken away from them in regards contact /ordering parts and iam not the only person in regards these issues
I have lost all faith in the company(VW ) and feel since covid that nobody takes ownership of their product and wonder if this is the start of issues on a vehicle with just over 4k on it
I wonder what the vw executive in charge of the brand in UK feel about such negative feedback and appears if they keep giving apologises for the issue but unable to say when the part will be in stock and I have stated how can I run my business and unable to plan due to above issues.
The customer centre state they can't see what vw uk have on file due to data protection in another country and wonder who's brainwave it was to farm out to overseas
the Vw brand had been taking a knock this past few years in the press and I was supporting brand as over years I was given good service by local dealer
I thought they would be keen to win back and keep long term customers and "word of mouth"is the name of the game in the commercial world and I will be making sure to warn any of my contacts thinking of purchasing VW products due to the shabby dealings Iam. currently experiencing and basically being put from one section to another ...hoping I will get tired and go away
AC stopped working at 13k miles
I really loved my VW Atlas SEL — but this experience has been beyond frustrating. At just 13,000 miles, the A/C failed, and my car has now been in the shop for over 3 weeks (4 weeks tomorrow with escalating repairs: compressor, valves, evaporator, even full dash removal. It's some sort of manufacturing defect, but in been given little explanation, just continued repairs and delayed completion.
As a full-time working mom of two during a busy summer, I've been left without a vehicle, no loaner, and no confirmed rental reimbursement. I've been bounced back and forth between the dealership and VW Customer Care with no clear accountability or resolution.
I expected better support and reliability for a vehicle this new and under warranty.
Disappointed and frustrated is an understatement.
My 2010 VW doesn't start
My 2010 VW doesn't start. They say the computer needs to be replaced. Payed more than$10,000 in repairs already. Never going to get a VW again.
An absolute eye opener dealing with VW
An absolute eye opener dealing with VW.
Never experienced such a flagrant disregard for customers in my life!
This is a brand new vehicle that has faults and has had since I drove out of the dealership.
4 months later nothing resolved and can’t even get VW customer service to take ownership.
The representative said “what do you want us to do” seriously.
Their digital team contact you with ridiculous suggestions but when I respond you hear nothing for a month!
Unprofessional, unhelpful, curt and unsympathetic.
Wasn’t a cheap vehicle either but that shouldn’t make a difference.
When I call up for after sales service you get the impression of a company with serious issues to resolve.
VW again - not a chance!
I have other Landrover vehicles and the contrast between companies is like night and day.
Ironically the vehicle itself is very good if only they would fix the issues.
Volkswagen is terrible!!
Volkswagen is terrible!!! The moon roof cover makes the car extra hot, the AC never fully cools down, transmission takes forever to go. You try to trade your car for another car and they are a mission to get your payoff quote. You call VW credit and they also cant provide a payoff quote. This is the worst purchase of my life!!!! Please take my lease back!!!!
Absolutely dire Customer Services
My VW van has been off the road for 2 months - sitting in a VW dealer yard awaiting parts. Quoted me further 3 months to get parts. Made complaint to VW Customer Services over a week ago. Phoned twice now - both times they “promised” to phone back - they haven’t even phoned, texted or responded to my email. Absolutely appalling lack of customer service. Oh, yes, this isn’t an old van, it’s a 2023 vehicle still under warranty!!!
I love VW all my life
I love VW all my life, never driven something else BUT, I always have some electrical failure, my current VW Polo 1.9TDI front fog lights stop working, LED stop light bar at the rear failed prematurely, fuel gauge act strangely when it is close to reserve. Now my brakes are failing, probably the vacuum pump or ABS, my other VW's also had electrical issues, I had about 11 between me and my wife, I stay with VW, fun to drive, never get outdated, always popular cars, never had engine failures.
A Masterclass in Corporate Evasion
If you're looking for a company that will replace a defective part once, then wash their hands of it when it fails again (conveniently) just outside warranty—look no further than Volkswagen. I had the rear brake pads on my 2022 Jetta SE replaced under warranty at just 22,464 miles (!) due to documented premature wear. They clearly slapped on the same garbage pads, an lo and behold, less than 12,000 miles later, the replacement pads are down to 4mm, and VW’s response? “We can’t help you." Meanwhile, the front pads were replaced at a different dealership with functional, non-defective parts—and have been flawless ever since.
I wasn’t asking for anything wild—just for VW to stand behind their own warranty repair and fix a clearly recurring defect. Instead, I got stonewalled, redirected, and treated like I was asking for a handout. If you want a company that talks about “German engineering” but ghosts you the second it’s inconvenient—Volkswagen’s your brand. If you want accountability, quality, or integrity? Look elsewhere.
Unacceptable
Dropped my car off Sunday night for a Monday at 7:30 am appointment. Get quoted $2,000 to fix a bunch of problems that were magically missed the last time I was there even though that was in March. Tyler told me that they had to order "some" of the parts. That they were expected Tuesday and the work would be done on Wednesday. I texted by rep, Collin Bourque, at 1:46pm asking if there was an update. Received no response. I called at 2:12pm and Collin told me that my car wasn't done because "last night there was no security guard so we didn't get our parts delivery." I then asked what that meant for my car. He said he couldn't tell me. He then said I had to speak to Tyler. He then hung up on me instead of putting me on hold. I called back and was told Tyler was at lunch and would be back in "probably 10 minutes." An hour and a half later I call back and I'm told the part for my car won't be in until Friday. If I had been told on Monday, that the part wouldn't be in until Friday, I would have told them I can't do that without a loaner. They still haven't been able to tell me if the car will be ready on Friday. I'm not even convinced they ordered the part. The biggest issue here is that I would not know that my car was going to take two - three more days than expected if I had not called. Executive Volkswagen had no intention of calling me at any point.
This brand used to be a fun car
This brand used to be a fun car, but unfortunately the brand has gone downhill and so has the service department so has the Customer service this car is absolutely not worth buying. I tried to get the car turned back in and get the dealer to do a buyback they gave me a phone number. I opened a claim and they closed it without even contacting me then I find out that they have a fake email address that they added so I also didn’t get notified of a reduced warranty with the mileage being reduced from 60 down to 25,000 without any notice. There’s so many breach of contract issues with this brand and the dealership is used to doing things in a very underhanded way I recommend Do Not go into a broken Wagon dealership do not go anywhere near them run
Shame a good company has gone badly wrong
VW used to have reliable cars and vans, provide good customer care, courtesy cars, clean vehicles in for service or repair, take cars and vans fix them for a fair price. They have none of this now.
Total nightmare to deal with, outsource everything, charge through the roof to tell you how much they will charge for repair. No courtesy cars, no car clean no help when things go wrong. Have gone from best to worst in 5 years.
Incompetent Customer Service
I had my wife's VW financed through VW Credit. After 3 years of autopayment, I traded my car to a dealership. The dealership sent the payoff to VW Credit by mistake and they applied the payoff to my wife's car...not the same car or VIN. They cut off my autopay. Released the lien and held the dealers money for a year. After a year of trying to get them to fix it, they sent the dealership their money and sent me repossession threats as they now considered me pass due. My account had been inactivated and I had no way to pay them for a year. After 4 VW's I will never do business with VW again. I ended up sending them a check to pay off the car so I would never have to deal with them again.
Volkswagen UK’s Customer Service Is a Disgrace
Volkswagen UK’s Customer Service Is a Disgrace
Volkswagen has long been synonymous with efficiency and quality, but my experience with their customer service has shattered that illusion. Instead of providing genuine support, VW UK seems more interested in hiding behind bureaucracy and marketing ploys while making it as difficult as possible for customers to access essential information.
I contacted them to verify my vehicle’s service history and DSG maintenance, only to be met with evasive responses and unnecessary hurdles. Despite owning my car since November 2024, I was told I am not listed as the registered keeper in their system—forcing me to chase up my V5 document just to access what should be readily available information. If VW actually cared about their customers, they would make it easier, not harder, to confirm service history and technical details.
The reality is that VW’s reputation for precision and customer focus is nothing more than a facade. Their 'support' is unhelpful, and deliberately obstructive and there's no accountability or transparency. If you’re expecting efficient, world-class service, you’ll be sorely disappointed. Volkswagen UK has proven to be nothing but a letdown.
Can I be bothered to write to VW Germany? Or the Motoring Ombudsman? That's probably a waste of time, too. I guess it's the era we find ourselves in, which is all about looking good on the outside but having no substance, sincerity, or goodness on the inside.
Recently purchased a car with Niall
Recently purchased a car with Niall. Great service and seamless process.
What a money pit
What a money pit. Their parts website is also useless and misleading. My mom has a 2012 jetta wagen TDI and it leaks, as in water leaking through the windows and sun roof, all have poor seals, it has issues with the glow plugs and it is extraordinarily expensive to fix.
I was interested in another car
I was interested in another car, didn't really know much about trade ins. Went to VW to have my car serviced, long story short. Sale consultant Joe Schultz reach out to me, once I inquired about inventory, and walk me through each step, educating, listening to my situation with patience. As well as directing me to the best options, and choices to fit my budget etc. Joe Schultz went above and beyond for me, test driving , really wonderful experience, great consultant.I highly recommend Joe Schultz, if you're shopping for a car. Take yo tax return and treat yourself, don't cheat yourself. You'll thank me later!
