The musical toys are so over stimulating they needs a on and off button! Throwing them all away

Beyond a joke. Bought a brand new baby monitor from Vtech Amazon store. Bought 6 weeks before my child was born, guess what it doesn't work. Contacted Vtech customer service team before Amazon store doesn't accept faulty items after 30 days. No help whatsoever, no troubleshooting advice or apology, told to return it at my expense to them so they can repair it. Well they received it a week ago as I sent it tracked but they're now denying it's been received. What a way to run an established business straight into the ground, my baby is 5 weeks old and she will never see another Vtech product! Absolute fools

Would give 0 stars if I could. My child was gifted a singing hippo bath toy. It’s supposed to sing a multitude of different songs and swim in the water. It doesn’t, it does two different songs and doesn’t move its legs in the water.

As it was a gift it was outside the returns window so I contacted vtech for support as it was faulty. They patronisingly told me to change the batteries. I confirmed I did and that it still doesn’t swim in the water or play the different songs. They didn’t respond. I have chased numerous times since. They replied once saying I hadn’t replied to them, but I provided all the proof that I had and again have continued to be ignored.

My child is left with a toy that he can’t use and is really upset by it.

Basically, useless faulty products and non responsive unhelpful customer service.

PBD Valuetainment Merch - I ordered autographed hat in December for Christmas gift. We are in February and still don’t have. I love PBD but shocked how lousy he runs this department.

Camera and Monitor are OK but the app is a pain in the @*&% constantly dropping out for no apparent reason.

We purchased the VTech RM7787HD and I am disappointed by how quiet the monitor is. My baby would need to be really loud in order to hear her through it. My phone projects the sound better but the app has got a massive delay when controlling music and lights - it can take literal minutes to turn the white noise off or put a nightlight on.

We bought the RM7766-2HD baby monitor in September 2024, didn't start using it until January. Within the year of buying, one camera stopped panning. We contacted customer support and did what they said to do. It worked for like 2 seconds then stopped working again. Now, at 15 months post buying, our parent unit is frozen on the splash screen. Contacted customer support again, they said it was malfunctioning and their solution was to send us a new unit with one camera or 15% off a different model. I understand it's technically out of warranty, but we had a 2 camera unit and 1 simply does not work for us. For it to have multiple issues within 1 year of use is ridiculous for how much these cost.

Sold a faulty product, did not work out of the box. I should have paid attention to the countless 1 star ratings. Horrendous company who doesn’t care about customers.

Bought 2 baby monitors from the company, both have become faulty. The second (replacement for a slightly older one) was faulty on delivery. Despite this being a manufacturing fault on V-Techs behalf, customer service was awful. The advisor was inexperienced and had to check details and arrange call back twice, and they expected me to pay to return the product despite the fact V-Tech had manufactured and sent me a faulty product. Decided to buy a monitor elsewhere.

I've bought several of the V-Hush Lites now, all with the exact same issue even though CS have said "we haven't experienced that anywhere else"

I was dealing with a Philip from CS who has now decided to ghost my attempts at resolving this which entails multiple emails, after i was told several weeks ago "to leave it with him and he'll be in touch shortly"
Now have a product the company we bought it from are refusing to return as faulty without comment from Vtech even though its the same issue we've reported previously on numerous occasions.
Either Vtech are false advertising on their products or all (all the ones we've had to date!) have all 'coincidentally' had the same problem.

Absolutely appalling products. Had two baby monitors, both had the same fault of the power port becoming faulty so it was increasingly difficult to charge until it stopped working altogether. Neither lasted more than 15 months, but just enough time for their tech/customer support to refuse to offer any help as they only do a 12 month warranty so expect you to pay another £170 for something that barely lasts more than a year. If it had only happened with one monitor I would have thought we were just unlucky but as both were the same I think they're just poor quality but with a very high price. Do not buy any tech from them!

Kids camera. Suddenly stopped working and out of warranty be vtech replaced. Shame about the breakdown but pleased with customer service

Vtech - 112005 - VTech Pop and Play Elephant This was given to us as a gift but after a month the balls stopped popping out company is less than sympathetic towards parents who got it as a gift

I have owned 2 separate 7767HD baby monitor units and both have died irretrievable deaths with no tech support from the company to explain what has gone wrong. I spoke to a 3rd party repairer who tells me they often fail in this way and they are not repairable.

Bought the VTECH 7677HD baby monitor thinking it was the best in the market. The first one we had, the stand and antenna both broke off just from very gentle daily use as they are made from such cheap plastic. The camera unit just decided a few weeks before 1 year was up to stop connecting. Vtech then replaced it with another due to the fault and just being inside the warranty period. We had the same issue with the stand and antenna, however with this one, the sound then just stopped working on the parent unit just a few weeks before a year again. Vtech this time said that the warranty did not apply to the replacement unit so there was nothing they could do.... Thanks so much VTECH... Just wouldn't recommend

I’ve had two Vtech baby monitor and camera combos in the last 18 months and both have faced an issue where one day the monitor and camera refuse to connect. I’ve contacted Vtech support about this but they’ve just said the warranty doesn’t cover it and there’s nothing that can be done. What a waste of time and the environment to have such poorly made technology breaking. Avoid

I don’t normally write reviews but I want to help other people avoid this company so they don’t waste their money!
We bought a vtech camera and monitor and after 18 months the screen stopped working and the aerial became loose and the wires broken (it’s poorly made). After contacting their support service we were met with robot responses and no one actually trying to help. Apparently their products only have a years warranty (in which they can repair or replace) but outside of this warranty apparently the product becomes unrepairable and they have no spare parts/monitors they can supply and so the whole lot will have to be thrown away which has a major impact on the environment too. I even explained I would be happy to purchase a monitor to which they said they don’t do this. Personally I find this disgusting and as a company it makes them untrustworthy when clearly the monitors can be fixed or replaced
After reading many reviews it appears other people have the same issue so all I can presume from this is that they like to do a years warranty knowing their product won’t last much after the year and so people have to buy a new set with them.
Not happy with their support team, I then reached out to complain to the customer service team to which I explained how rude their team was and that their disregard for the environment and customer was not acceptable. I don’t know why I wasted my time as I once again got a very generic response again saying they know I’m disappointed but basically oh well.
I have always used vtech products but following this I won’t again. They are unhelpful, rude and as a company don’t care about their impact on their contribution to waste.
I wish I had read the reviews before I bought the product as I would have avoided them! Don’t waste your money and buy from a company that actually value their customer and make products that last!

Had the monitor only 18 months and already has a software glitch and doesn’t work.
Contacted v-tech but they can’t help and covenantally out of warranty.
Too much money for such little time.

What a horrible product slides all over the bed feels like you're sleeping on roller skates have to put the sheets back on the bed every night ruins the Comfort feeling of the brand new $6,000 mattress what a complete waste of money
