Excellent support from IVHQ from start to end of my volunteering. Highly recommended and I had a wonderful time in China at the turtle reserve.

I've never had a bad experience volunteering through IVHQ. They are well organized.

It was a lifetime experience. I spent two weeks volunteering on a childcare project in Cape Town with International Volunteer HQ, and I only wish I could have stayed longer. The children were adorable, and Cape Town was magical. I would definitely come back.

I had a very enriching and meaningful experience participating in the Delhi program with IVQH. Although my stay was only one week, the impact it had on me was significant, and I truly wish I could have stayed longer.

The clinic and the community it serves are located in an area with a great deal of need, which made the experience even more impactful. I felt very fortunate to connect with other volunteers who were incredibly kind, supportive, and passionate about the work.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Delhi. The environment was welcoming and supportive, and the accommodations felt comfortable and home-like. The program overall was well organized, which made it easy to adapt and focus on learning and contributing.

I especially valued the time spent in the clinic working with patients. Despite the language barrier, there was strong support for communication, which allowed for meaningful interactions and even the opportunity to learn a few words in Hindi.
Overall, this has been one of the most meaningful experiences I have had, and I hope to have the opportunity to return in the future.

This was my first volunteer experience and the team at IVHQ went above and beyond my expectations. I was well supported and kept up to date with all of the programs ins and outs. They were easy to contact and quick to reply, and offered endless guidance from the moment I signed on. The program was well organised and I met so many new people which was so daunting as a solo female traveller in her 40s. I cannot wait to book another experience with IVHQ!

I had a really great experience with IVHQ from start to finish. The application process was smooth and straightforward, and I always felt well-guided through each step. My program manager was incredibly responsive and always quick to reply, even with the time difference, which made me feel very supported and prepared before my trip.

During my time abroad, the local team, Maximo Nivel, were amazing. They were always quick to help with anything we needed and did a great job keeping track of us and making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. Their support really made a difference in feeling secure in a new environment.

The city I stayed in felt safe, and my host family was wonderful. I felt welcomed right away and quickly felt at home, which made the whole experience even more special.

Overall, I would highly recommend IVHQ to anyone considering volunteering abroad. It’s a well-organized and supportive program that truly helps you make the most of your experience.

I've done a lot of traveling and volunteering over the years, but this experience was far more rewarding than I'd anticipated. I chose IVHQ after a friend mentioned it to me. The more I read about the opportunities, the more I knew I wanted to be a part of it. The Galapagos projects available were unique and impactful. I loved the fact that we would be helping the islands remain as they always had been with regards to wildlife, ecosystem, and the environment. IVHQ checked all the boxes to make my experience safe and easy. I encourage EVERYONE to volunteer with them at least once. I met many like-minded people in the program that I will be friends with for life.

I felt very prepared for my trip. There was no surprises. Lia was amazing at always returning my emails. The staff in Lombok were amazing too. Very knowledgeable and supportive. We had an incredible time at the turtle conservation and felt we made a difference.

Host family and kindergarten staff were on point, considerate, thoughtvful and helpful.
Only thing is....I wasn't aware enough of physical expectationd, lots of steps and stairs

My experience with IVHQ in Tanzania was truly incredible and exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, everything was extremely well organised, which made the entire journey smooth and stress-free. What stood out the most was how authentic the experience felt. Beyond volunteering, we had the opportunity to connect with the local community, discover the culture, and explore the beauty of Tanzania in a meaningful way. Every day felt impactful, and it was inspiring to be part of something that genuinely contributes to local communities.

As content creators, this experience was also incredibly rich visually and emotionally. Tanzania offers stunning landscapes, vibrant culture, and real human connections, making it a perfect environment to capture authentic and engaging content. IVHQ made it easy for us to focus on both the experience and the storytelling, thanks to their organisation and support on the ground.

Overall, IVHQ provides not just a volunteering programme, but a truly immersive and memorable experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking to travel with purpose while creating meaningful connections and content.

it was amazing, i loved the people, the accommodation, the project, the city.

I felt very supported while in Fiji, I had no trouble finding where I needed to be. The local staff was amazing and even with Visa changing right before my trip I had guidance through each step of the process. We were well provided for, and I had a lot of fun meeting a ton of new people while there. As someone who has never really traveled outside of the US much, especially solo, I would highly recommend!

I loved volunteering in Nusa Penida & doing the Culture week in Ubud. Met lots of nice people & felt recharged after this trip!

IVHQ did a great job preparing us for the trip. Everything was professional, well organized, and clearly communicated, so we always knew what to expect. That level of preparation made the entire experience feel smooth and stress-free from the very beginning. We would highly recommend IVHQ to anyone looking for a volunteer abroad experience.

My experience was amazing the hospitality of the people running the volunteer house made it feel like home even after a short time. I felt the program was well structured and organized but you still had freedoms and not a crazy amount of pressure.

I made so many friends at the house and pedro in particular was such a good host and gave me so many spots to check out and gave me an incredible good bye dinner! 10/10 would 100% do it again!

The support from IVHQ was excellent. They made sure we were ready for our trip and we knew what we would encounter. It was easy to reach them by email and were always happy to answer.
