Fake auditions. Better off on your own. Don't waste your money
I think Voices.com provides a good introductory platform for new voice actors, however, it's really become the Amazon of voice overs, so it's difficult to stand out. Also, it would appear that many of the "auditions" are fake and it's hard validate any of the Voices.com client requests. In many cases, if you don't upload your audition in 20 minutes of an posted audition, it's highly likely your audition won't even be heard by the prospective client. Consider this, for every audition, there are 100's of voice actor responses. Do you really think prospective clients are going to filter through more than 100 auditions? Not likely. Hence, I won't be renewing this subscription for many reasons. You're likely better off doing your own website, contracts, marketing and sales via other channels.

Horrible system. Wont let you edit the job posting without recreating a new listing with the old one still has talent in there you want. Once you hire someone if it is bad there is no recourse. Wasted money.

Unpaid Work and Lack of Communication – Very Disappointing
I completed a voice-over project for Voice in December, providing several hours of recorded audio for an AI-related task. Although my work was approved, I’m still waiting to be paid—over four months later.
The communication throughout this process has been frustratingly poor. Despite multiple follow-ups, I’ve yet to receive a clear update or firm payment date. Promises have been made but not kept, which feels unprofessional, especially considering I delivered everything on time and as requested.

$500 for no chances?! DON'T DO IT!
A legitimate company would NOT ask a voice talent to pay $500 just to be in the running for finding voice work, and then get a percentage of the pay ON TOP OF THAT! And when I DID pay the membership, 95% of the auditions were for British or Black voice actors, and the other 5% had dozens, if not hundreds of auditioners that already answered the audition. Forget about voices.com; there is NO LOGIC IN IT!

We do have different membership levels geared towards voice actors at different stages in their careers. Premium is often a better fit for professional voice actors and the Guest membership is more suited for the aspiring voice actor just starting out. This does mean that sometimes a job that appears to be a good fit might be one you’re not able to reply to, and we understand that can be disappointing. We encourage you to get that assistance from customer service in order to fill in your profile completely and upload your demo.
As a business, we do charge a 20% platform fee to talent (calculated against their client-facing quote) and a 3% or 5% processing fee to clients depending on the client’s payment method (calculated against their job’s total cost pre-tax).
We make the platform fee clear to talent when they are responding to jobs or selling their projects, and the processing fee clear to clients when they are hiring talent.
Talent are able to adjust their quote when responding to jobs to see what their take-home earnings would be, and we show right there, based on the talent quote, the amount that the client will pay. We also show in this same spot what the platform fee would amount to, so that the talent has all the information.
We encourage talent to always quote what they feel is fair for the work involved. Our goal is to provide the highest possible value to both our clients and our talent to make the fees worthwhile. That being said, we continue to look at pricing and the ways we can improve this element of the customer experience.
The Job Agreement reflects the total amount the client will pay, as well as details about the job, and this agreement is signed off on by both parties before the talent begins work. This is a contract and it protects both the client and the talent.
Payments are then held in SurePay until the talent completes the work, and then payment is released to the talent. Talent are pleased to have this taken care of for them, so they can focus on auditioning and booking jobs.
We encourage talent to diversify their income streams and offer Voices as one tool—there will be those who find it’s all they need and those who wish to use Voices in addition to other platforms or other opportunities they seek out on their own. Everything comes with a cost of money or time. Our goal is to connect clients with the best talent, and talent with the best job opportunities. Reviews and feedback from our customers tell us we’re doing this well.

Super Duper easy to use and great results!
The ability to submit a script and have non-AI generated responses is awesome. I was able to compare reads between multiple respondents to make the right choice for the final voice talent hire. Also, the site is super easy to navigate and use.
